SHAROD, I have generally figured out for 2023 that when Capitula asks you to highlight the streetlights they want the lights themselves and no to the totality of the fixtures holding them.

Don’t you know a sting operation when you see one? C’mon Gary the Guest! Although it was dumb for Jack and Diane to debrief right at the same table!
I’m relieved that its a sting but where do we go from here with that? Trying to return Jeremy to prison is very precarious as what happens when he gets out NEXT time? Yes, he will be further pissed…
After watching dark haired Katherine Chancellor as a 60s babe on Perry Mason with a 3 strand of pop beads I am watching last of Hallmark Christmas because there is nothing else on on the last day of the year with Y&R cancelled. (Not watching CNN: The year in review. I already lived it.) For the radical Chatters who demand diversity surprising there are two Hallmark gay men prominetly featured who do not seem to be but sidekicks. Not “diversity”, just real life. Happy new year Gary! You’re not getting the classic masquerade ball episode out there in California? Ah well, you’ve seen it before, with David Kimball dressed in the same Beast costume as Danny and everyone making big entrances in their costumes. The cast is so young! A bit hard to see Katherine & Neil in their heyday.
Oh, is that on again? This is very much a holiday rerun on a rerun. Drag it out. As much as the live soap is a can’t miss I do not get excited by a Y&R rerun. Henry might pop up here, shockingly radical on the same topic.

Nick and Sharon rang in the the New year together at the coffee house!! I could be reading too much into this but does that signal we may still end up with a Nick and Sharon pairing in 2023? Adam has made multiple comments about Nick and Sharon. Doesn’t seem like nothing, but wait and see.
And wishing a very Happy New Year to you, Ali. You, your chats, and this site continue to make YnR so much more fun than just simply watching the show. I appreciate that you build the show up w/your signature good cheer and always witty (often hilarious!) insights. I wish you and yours the happiest of New Years. Thank you for who you are and all that you do. Here’s to 2023 and the GC craziness ahead!
Happy New Year, Chatters! I’m too far behind to leave timely comments, but will say I think YnR had a fantastic 2022 -even amidst the rampant absurdities and inconsistencies, lol! That’s what a soap is to me, and I continue to love YnR! Wishing for a great NY in GC, but more importantly for a great NY to all Chatters everywhere. Cheers to 2023! Peace.

His first traditional haircut since going new age with the white hair
He’s done with his Broadway run so he’s back to his usual cut. Either way he’s a handsome guy. The traditional cut does seem more in line with his attorney role.

Billy apparently forgot to plan a big night out for Lily. Then he covers by spinning the no plan thing into let’s be alone together under the stars. Lily is nobody’s fool! I love that she said so we’re going to wait 4 hours for the fireworks in this freezing cold??? She was so disappointed. Come on Billy! He should know lily is a party girl! She loves to dress up and be with people!!! It’s Chelsea that doesn’t care as much about socializing, she would have appreciated snuggling on that cold bench drinking hot chocolate.
Oh Jack….Ashley tried to warn you about the duplicity of Diane(loved that day she and Jack had falling out)breaking it down on her movements from LA to GC!! This is the saying/poem…said the spider to the fly. The poem is a cautionary tale against those who use flattery and charm to disguise their intentions. Jack, you have been deceived, in my opinion, by Diane. I think she pretended to be sooo scared by Jeremy Stark that required her to flee and hide. I hope Jack noticed how smoothly Diane lied to Jeremy. Jack should proceed with caution. However, it’s been so long since Jack has had a romance. He is at his very best when he’s romancing someone. So forage away, Jack. Don’t let your heart get too involved or you’ll believe everything Diane feeds you.
They planned the whole thing in advance back at the Abbott mansion. Jack wasn’t surprised by anything Diane said to Jeremy. He was there out of concern. I’m so glad to see Jack have a real story and get away from that shrew Phyllis. He can finally have the family he has always wanted with Diane, Kyle, Summer & Harrison.
It’s a shame they have turned Chloe into a shrill, one-note, boring character. The actress deserves better. Give her a story. She actually said “I shouldn’t have have blown up Adam in that cabin”. Hey, cool. How about your other murder attempts? Maybe she could make some amends? Then she could be more than a boring Adam hate machine. If Greg Rickart isn’t going to commit to the show, divorce them. Give Chloe a new love. Do something with her, please.
Lol, and despite it all, I still love seeing Chloe. Supporting cast member or front and center, I always enjoy her. And I would definitely enjoy seeing a Chloe-centered story.
