A Newman. Been There, Done That. Previous writers done this with Sage. There is no drama factor here, because as I said before both bothers know that they slept with Sally. And so does the audience.
I feel the writers are making a Newman Baby, just so we don’t get a Copeland-Porter Baby. They can only have so many babies around. We already have Dominic.
Ali, just as you asked the question, and then said it yourself, I thought BOTH! CBS soap watchers might remember Guiding Light’s Blake had twins of Ross and Rick. That was a fun story, and a good “plot twist” we have all requested. AND….Sally doesn’t have to tell anyone there are twins. She can keep Nick’s (or Adam’s) and say truthfully it is his, and give the other to Mariah. That story could carry on into the future, it will be complicated, but that is my vote.
Thanks Toni, I’ve been trying to remember what show that was on. Blake and Sally are very similar characters.
Yes, Ali! And Toni! Lol, I would loooove the story of Sally twins w/different dads! What soapy fun! Sure, I know it can technically (I mean biologically, lol) really happen, but… truly the double-daddies sounds like a head-shaking ‘only on a soap’ mess to me! Now I’m hoping – anything else will be a let-down.
Far fetched but funny
Well… I don’t care much one way or the other at the minute. But I voted Adam, because as Ali so astutely points out – it’s the only option w/any story potential. But… snore. I don’t see a cheesy Nicholas Sparks culmination of ‘Oh, my written-on-the-stars soul-mate, I (sob sob) have always loved you, so let’s melt together and be parents forever’ for Adam and Sally. And while I hardly see Nick as geriatric w/a cusp-of-adulthood Sally, they are kinda ‘eh’ in biding their time w/one another (great sex nonwithstanding). I’m hoping it’s Adam and I hope they don’t do any switching of anything. Please let this bring Sally to her senses. Let her realize that that no-fireworks encounter was due to deeply hurt feelings not lack of feelings. It’s hard to get back with someone as if nothing’s happened after such deep hurt from both sides. Sally is not innocent, she let Adam practically beg for forgiveness and chose to sleep with his brother of all the choices (actually not that many in GC due to very small cast). I voted Adam! First I want Adam to be the father lol but second Nick has a lot more children and we only see Adam talk about Connor being his kid. I also don’t see the major conflict if Nick is the father, then every gets wrapped up in a nice bow which makes no sense for Genoa City. You can have a lot of conflict with Chelsea and Connor as Chelsea won’t be the only woman who now shares a child with Adam. I cannot abide watching Nicholas Newman stealing another one of Adam’s children. Nope, don’t do it YR. It’s bad enough that Adam doesn’t have visitation rights to spend time with Christian, but pretending that old fella Nick has a newborn coming will not be good for my cardiac health. Nick has enough “children”. Give him some grandchildren. Leave Sally & Adam’s little cherub alone YR.
I also think Adam is the father. Not sure who Sally would want to be the father, since a paternity test will be needed. We all know it can be changed. Just so the baby doesn’t go to Mariah and Tessa .Don’t want a baby switch story either
