After Chloe’s switched paternity test reveal Nick to be the father of Sally’s baby it is going to be boring for years and years….
Well Ali and Y&R chatters…back online!!! Ali, you talked about possible bad weather and power outages that may hinder you weekly review, well I was welcomed to your world for sure this past week. Ice storms, road and city closures were the life of my state and city, 150,000 affected in my city alone. I had a power outage from Tuesday night to Friday morning , missed the show so I will enjoy your coming review and the chatters views as well of the past week. Hallelujah,,,it’s so good to be back!!!
I know I am in the minority with this opinion, but Kyle is one of my favourite characters on the show. At the moment his character is not all that exciting, but I feel that Kyle’s character has alot of potential. I really like the actor and the character he plays. I have to say I feel disappointed with the scandal to take down Adam at Jabot. I was looking forward to Kyle having more of a storyline and seeing what he was going to do at jabot to sabotage Adam. Like the Theo set-up! Kyle’s losing his touch… (or maybe the Theo thing had been Summer’s idea, Idr…) I enjoy Kyle too, albeit the bungler he has been of late. I prefer characters that aren’t necessarily heroic, morality-bound, or even ‘likeable’… too much of that gets quickly boring for me. Imho, it’s annoyers, connivers, hapless souls, and the like that make for an interesting and messy soap. (NOT that Kyle in particular is or isn’t any of the things I’ve just mentioned… just sayin’!)
Chelsea and Billy’s non-date date. Billy said to Chelsea believe me you would know if this was a date! I hadn’t put it together yet that Billy is only friends with Chelsea and it’s Chelsea that keeps thinking it’s more. She may be headed for a setback if Billy doesn’t want more than friendship.
Confession: On Friday’s episode, when Sally opened the door and Nick asked her what was wrong, I was hoping she miscarried! I feel bad, but I’m just not feeling this storyline. And if Chloe switches the paternity test I might fast forward through Sally’s entire pregnancy.
I was really rooting for a billy Chelsea love affair, but that dinner it didn’t do it for me. I mean I think the Raiders are still going to try to make a couple but somehow I just don’t care anymore. I think I’m just sick of people falling back into the same old couple off and I realize that’s because there’s not that much gas but they do really need to bring a few more guys on that or not related to anyone. Oh romantic, Jack, how foolish you are to think that this will be forever with Diane. I’m not sure why, but I get the impression when she heard all that money was in the safe with something is going to happen to make Diane disappear and he’ll that money. I wish Jack would stop revisiting loves of the past and open himself up to someone new.
I’m hoping this one is real! I think she’s sincere. But Phyllis will do something terrible.
Poor Elena! So worried about the wrong woman, Audra has nothing on. Victoria. I don’t even think Elena realizes Victoria slithering around Nate. And I don’t know maybe it’s karma, because after all, Elena and Nate started as a workplace affair, and I definitely think it’s gonna be more than a kiss on the couch next time. This may be an unpopular opinion. But I don’t think Devon is wrong in wanting to keep Hamilton winters. I do feel that he should just give them whatever capital the merger would’ve given them split up quietly to give them a chance to go for an IPL later if they need to, but it also just feels so silly because I do feel like Yvonne has more than enough money to make up their losses, so why are they being so difficult with him? I can understand Devon’s perspective and I feel if he stays with Lily at Chancellor Winters and the IPO goes through he will be sulky and resent her for it. I don’t think their relationship would stay strong either way. I also feel like Lily is in a tough spot because she is answering to Jill and what Jill wants. Does Jill get final say regardless if Lily agrees or do they both have to be on board with the IPO? I feel it’s still Jill that gets to make the final call for any big company decisions.
Welp, Nate and Victoria sure do know what it takes to “make things really happen,” lol! I hope the story finds ‘more’ happening .w/them! But then I’d feel sorry for Elena… although she did cheat WITH Nate, so not sure she can expect him to be doing the right thing… betrayal culpability lies w/the both of them in that incident. Clearly cheating is ok by Nate, but hey – it was ok by Elena once, too! But maybe she’s NTPA while Nate still is TP?
MORE CONTACT WITH FAME: Die hard Chats may recall I once made a post on the Young And Restless site that the real Chance, the great Danny/Donny Boaz responded to. Its true that I will only come across and respond to something on this site maybe once every 3 years and I have done it again with SOCKO results. Y&R is hyping the 50th anniversary cast photo and as I plugged in I was thinking its always all about the gowns. A 50th must be about gold or silver, I get it, but where is the beachwear for something original?… Read more »
I am so down for an Adam Tucker bromance, complete with a new business partnership.
I could love that instead of their each mooning over their respective (and borderline tiresome) women dramas … some cutthroat and dastardly dealings of such a bromance/partnership would be fun!

Oh, UGH. Not to diss the beautiful sentiment in TTOL legacy, but it’s hard to buy DIane as Jack Abbott’s ‘unfilled destiny finally come to fruition.’ Really? A re-kindled and ‘mature’ romance to be sure, but – ‘Fate?’ Well, if Jack sees it that way, then lovely for him, and Diane can (while thanking her lucky stars) bask in it as well. Ah, true love… time will tell…

So Nick knew that Sally and Adam slept together. Why the big lead up to Sally telling Nick that Adam could be the father? Nick did tell her that he is all in for the baby but not sure where they are heading? Did she even hear it? Nick is starting to be like one of those mother hens that keeps hoarding all of the hens’ chicks under her wings.
It really makes no sense. Nick may be dopey-cute, but of course he knows Sally.slept w/Adam. Seems to me Nick is being pretty supportive for Sally w/out pushing expectations, and is just following Sally’s lead thus far. (It would be pretty funny though, if he is actually thrown for a loop that it could be Adam’s baby!)
