I loved this episode, even if we didn’t find out who the father of the baby is. It was very telling of Sally’s perception of the hurdles she would endure with each brother. With Adam, it would be the constant discord with his family. She knows that Nick doesn’t love her and probably never will. She imagined and was happy that Adam would be excited and want to create a stable home. That scene spoke volumes of her true feelings.

ELLEN, your read Adam post this week is one of your best and blows it out of the water! “Adam sows chaos wherever he goes”. No, it’s YOU, which ever one of you said it.

Lastly, I am glad there wasn’t so much chancellor winters lawsuit talk. I just want this to be over quickly. I didn’t realize until this week when they hardly spoke about it how much I just don’t care about it the story doesn’t do anything for me and I’m not necessarily interested in seeing the Winters family fractured, unless it somehow leads to a miraculous Alive from the dead Drusilla returning to show her children what’s actually important other than that the story needs to end.
Wouldn’t that be an amazing twist! Would love to see Dru back—she was such a complex & lovable & truly soapy character. She was a woman, a wife, a mother, a friend, a sister, a dancer—so many things! I miss that kind of multi-dimensional character.
She was great. I don’t think they ever found her body either. Would be easy to bring her back and boy she could cause alot of friction with Chancellor/ Winters

I don’t want Sally’s baby to Nick’s. And if somehow, unfortunately, it is an as terrible as this is to say, I hope the high blood pressure and stress gets the better of this pregnancy because I don’t want Nick saddles with Sally for the rest of his life. It’s bad enough he has Phyllis and her shenanigans, Additionally, Sharon was right. Adam and Sally are soulmates and this who’s the baby daddy is irritating just let Adam have his kid, buy Tucker McCall holdings and build the independent life for himself that he’s wanted with someone who loves him… Read more »
Yes to all of this!!! Couldn’t agree more. The unending torture of Adam must end. It’s fine for him to have challenges, but he deserves some success and happiness too. We demand it.
I agree ,I hope Adam is the father and that Chloe doesn’t change the results because she jates Adam so much. Anyway whoever is the father will be another Newman baby

Victoria, you are not fooling anyone checking in on Nate’s relationship status. It just amazes me because Victoria isn’t above being a home wrecker get the man she wants even though she hates when that happens to her. I am a little more intrigued by the Victoria and Nate affair. I actually think it’s going to be the mental affair of being on the same page and wanting the same sort of power and ruling the world out of life. That’s going to and Nate and Elena more than the physical connection. I think they will actually fall in love.… Read more »

I am so excited that Tucker is going to woo Ashley back. I love them together, and I honestly think he is going to treat her right this time. Yes, he’s having sex with Audra but in his defense, Ashley was acting like they could never be together. Now that there is a glimmer of hope and he’s selling Tucker McCall holdings. He will be free to really focus on his family and loved ones as he claims. And I like the idea that maybe after losing the lawsuit, Tucker, Ashley, and Devon build a new powerful family business together.
Apparently Ashley has a lot of money of her own, or she took it from Jabot accounts. Because she is the one that ends up buy Tucker’s debt. She is a true witch. She doesn’t want Tucker, she wants to own him. As I said before, never been a fan of Ashley.

I was so happy to see Jeremy Stark. I really needed Diane to stop being so freaking smug. I’m sorry I just know Jack deserves better and his happiness is made of sand is the sand. It’s a Sandcastle fairytale in the waves are about to crash in. Wait until summer realizes that Jeremy is back, and now she and Harrison are living in the house of the people who said that man up. Hopefully, Nik finally finished your dream house Summer. so you and Harrison and maybe Kyle can finally move. Random thought for such a tiny living room.… Read more »
Now Sherrita, all is forgiven with Tucker, but Diane & Jack need to crash and burn? I really don’t get this. Diane has served her 20 years of exile from her family while hiding in LA, missing out on raising her son and being blackmailed by Jeremy, living under an assumed name. What has Tucker done to redeem himself? Nothing. Double standard from all the Diane haters! Let Jack & Diane & Kyle have a happy ending too.
I truly don’t understand the Diane hate either. While, the viewers saying, poor Tucker, he is so charming, let’s give him a chance. Except like most things in life. It’s just a man being a man, so let’s forgive him. But a woman do even one tenth wrong of what a man does and she must be burned at the stake.
And this is, also a commentary on our real society.

Another reason Heather can really leave is the flashbacks of Lily and Daniel. I am a sucker for young love that breaks up go through life, and then somehow returns to live their golden ages together so happy as the new people that they’ve become. Secretly, I think it’s everyone’s fantasy if they did not end up with their first love to somehow be reunited with that person And I would love that for Lilly. I don’t like seeing Lily in a non-business environment. I’d love to see her step parent Lucy, and be with someone who really really knows… Read more »

I don’t keep up with casting news but is Heather staying in town? I don’t really see it for her and Daniel I wouldn’t mind if somehow Daniel was able to keep Lucy, and somehow crazy. Sheila comes back to Genoa city to see her granddaughter and maybe even Daisy or is Daisy dead? I also like the idea that Connor and Johnny will age up slightly and have a preteen crush on Lucy and fight for her attention. I think that will show how deep their brotherly bonf really is.

I am so glad to see Ashley back in town and visiting with Tucker. I still feel like the two of them make an excellent power couple. I thought it was funny when Tucker told Ashley “You should see what I do for an encore” after Ashley told him that she hoped he didn’t expect a repeat performance of the last time they were together. Side Note: I loved Tucker’s red belt as well. I don’t think I have ever seen a man wearing a red leather belt on the show before. It definitely stood out in the scene.
I like the fashion choices on Tucker too—a bit different from the boring standard choices for most male characters. Not as fun as what they used to do for Theo Vanderway (bring him back!)—but still good. And Trevor St. John has excellent swagger!

Phyllis seems to have a short memory. When Phyllis was speaking to Summer at Society about their relationship she made it seem as though they have always had this close bond with one another. Phyllis was so shocked and heartbroken that Summer was not taking her side about her going to see Heather and Lucy in Portugal. She commented that she couldn’t understand what was happening between them as they had always had this close relationship with one another and stuck by each other’s side. It seems the writers have forgotten the anger and resentment Summer seemed to have for… Read more »
Yup, well, Phyllis’ perception is Phyllis’ reality. As is everyone’s, the saying goes… (although I think w/Phyllis it’s selective perception much of the time, lol).
Phyllis and Summer’s relationship is ‘a lot.’ Exhausting, for sure, and often too much to think on. All I’m left w/at the minute w/these two is how beautiful Phyllis looked in her coral-colored body-paint (oops, I mean dress) and how beautiful Summer looked in her maroon top/leather? skirt. Outfits that certainly reflect each character… I appreciated that Phyllis didn’t have her boobs hanging out (although the side cut-out kept the ‘vamp’), and for me, Summer’s look was not-trying-too-hard perfection. Nobody wears the ‘cling’ like Phyllis does, and Summer just keeps on keepin’ the classy. Thumbs up from me to both.
At least everything wasn’t so drab and monochromatic. Summer’s outfit was cool—almost a Sally vibe. So much cleavage seems really old fashioned to me—but what do I know? I suppose trends always come back around but I wonder if women will ever just close the door on being half naked in public. On the beach it makes sense when men are doing it too. Otherwise it just seems odd to be so vulnerable, unless men start joining in regularly too—let’s all strip down at the coffee shop! Fashion makes some questionable demands on women (don’t get me started on high… Read more »
Not to give a complete history lesson. But what is now considered the modern day high heel shoe for women. Was actually invented to be worn by men to indicate they were upper-class.
Women’s beautiful feet are made ugly by those sexy high steppin modern shoes. To me, they look foolish revealing the wearer is trying too hard. A fancy lower healed closed shoe better flaters the line of the leg. Am I a shoe -salesman? No just a visual opinion. Diane Jenkins probably wears an upper-class shoe.
When the topic was, “What new job should Adam take?” I was thinking shoe salesman, but I felt like stating that would be too flip.

OMG. Could the Y&R writers be making one of my wishes come true? I had been thinking that it would be fantastic to have Billy go back to Jabot. I want more scenes with him and Jack, and he needs something other than Chelsea. (And with Melissa Claire-Egan going on maternity leave, I’m sure they need to find a new storyline for him.)

It takes a lot of confidence as an actress and a lot of chemistry as a couple to pull off a line like, “I’ll scratch your back, don’t you want to scratch mine?”
MORE Audra please! She’s got the sizzle that Sally has lost, and I love her dynamic with Tucker.

So Billy is going to go back to Ja”boat”. I think he should be a spokesperson instead of a CEO. Billy’s talents would be better utilized creating videos about the newest cosmetic innovations, news and information. Billy could do this in a very entertaining way. He would probably end up employing Chelsea to help him. The “dream team” is back.
Great idea—like Billy being Jabot’s advertising front man—actually producing videos, hiring talent, getting in trouble with models, pitching ad campaigns, being the face of a men’s cologne maybe? Call it “SCOUNDREL”? That would be great for him.

The conversation between Daniel and Lucy was brutal at times. The young actress did a great job being vulnerable. When she gave her blue beaded bracelet to Daniel and said, ”So you remember you have a daughter.”, my heart broke for Daniel.
