This was a tough one but I voted disapprove for Sally’s lack of self-awareness. It’s so obvious that she is working through some weird Daddy complex with Nick. She is not passionate about Nick at all. She has more fun talking about the baby with Adam and she still believes in him. More than half the time she’s turned to Nick for sex has been b/c she was upset about Adam or trying to get him out of her mind. Love the actress. Not a fan of Sally STILL dangling the brothers – frame that in any narrative anyone may like (hurt by Adam, does/doesn’t want Adam, does/doesn’t want Nick, does/doesn’t know what she wants… so conflicted!! and blah blah blah), but it all boils down to the same ongoing thing: she is dangling the brothers. Will this continue after the baby is born?? Enough already.
But I don’t think Sally is ‘dangling the brothers’ w/any malicious or even deliberate intent. She is just too self–involved in her emotions and situation to recognize and own the manipulation. So I still can’t approve… ya gotta deal w/it, Sally. Handle your business, personal and otherwise.
sueW, you make a great point here! She is stringing both men along and is wrapped up in herself as most young people are.
The only way you are going to get me to turn against Sally is if she sells her baby to Victor Newman for her own good.
COURTNEY came over from The Bold and The Beautiful. I liked her there and my approval of her role as Sally Spectra has simply not changed. I think she’s great !
I disapprove of Sally as currently written but also blame the actress. I’m not sure if she could play her scenes differently but the actress shows no hint of former Sally mannerisms. Original Sally always had a cagey and snarky way of dealing with most people. That shouldn’t vanish overnight just because she has a Dudley DoRight boyfriend.
I disapprove of the way Sally’s is being written. It’s as if, all the wind has gone out of her sails. Her world has become very small with only concern for her pregnancy. Her fire, her drive and determination have been extinguished. Sally does enjoy being adored. And maybe this is blinding her to the dilemma her choices are creating.
