Well, I just sat down to watch YR. But it’s Saturday. I must be enjoying the show these days—or I’m just losing the plot on my actual life.
The only biological child Neil Winters has is Moses. Bring back a full grown Moses and his mother Sophia. Sophia will be a great addition to the cast. I don’t recall her professional career but no matter, she’s needed in GC.
I like Sophia! Bring back Sophia and send touchy/feely Harmony flying!
Tucker calling Jack “Bro” was a beautiful thing, I rewatched that moment roughly 10 times. Trevor St. John is knocking it out of the park!!

Ali it looks like J.T will be on the show after all.Yeah! It makes sense that the character of J.T would be hesitant to return to Genoa City and not say yes right off the bat. I thought it seemed like too much of a build up to bring back J.T and then not actually do it. I look forward to his return and seeing how this story line develops. I am sure J.T has many fans that look forward to seeing his return and his character being redeemed with the help of Elena.
There’s no way (almost) that JT’s not going to be on the show since they brought him up in a situation that makes no sense. Audra wants to bring him back to muddle up Victoria? What does she know of either of them? This crazy would never have been introduced – to what purpose? – if they weren’t going to make something out of it. JT’s cool biker look shows us he is still shook up & remains unsettled from his brain tumor fiasco. Bro.
Been thinking about this for a couple weeks. Major props to the Y&R teams for the sibling relationships. There’s such great chemistry, dialogue, and emotion! Ashley and Jack’s blowouts, Daniel and Summer going from grief to agony over the truth, Devon and Lily at war and then reconciled, even Nick and Victoria with their “don’t tell me who to sleep with” banter. And one of my favorites is when Ashley and Billy – like when she called him an ass!

It was funny and cute when Ashley was speaking to Harmony at the jazz club and Harmony told Ashley that it was nice to see that Ashley and Tucker had found their way back to one another and that it should be cherished. Tucker pointed to Ashley to emphasize that Harmony was right with this statement. I feel like the actor improvised this action and was not told to do that. This is what makes the actor and his character so fun and believable.
It was also funny when Tucker threw on the aviator sunglasses after speaking with Jack at the mansion before leaving the house.
I agree: believable and fun! He’s always so amusing (even when morose). I think TSt.John has made Tucker both very likeable and annoyingly smarmy w/his wit and seemingly easy way. Although he has shown some nasty anger before, and I suspect could be quite UNlikeable and scary when fully enraged… the ability to snap very dark seems to always lurk just under his surface. I think this Tucker is a great soap character, and I like the different flavor he brings to YnR. Hero? Villian? Leading man? Loser? All things in-between? And then there’s Tucker.
“Morose”. Tucker is morose! I like morose! Bro.
I remember Roger Thorpe on Guiding Light in that way. He was so memorable due to the actor playing the character. Never dull if Roger was in a scene. Tucker is the one to watch no matter who else is in the scene.
Happy Mother’s Day Ali! Your daughter is a lucky little girl. I realize as I am writing this that Y&R doesn’t celebrate this holiday or Father’s Day. I am not sure why. It would be interesting to see what the characters would do on these holidays and how they would celebrate it with all the money that they have. Devon could fly Abby on his private jet to a fabulous restaurant on a tropical island that celebrities frequent to show her his appreciation of her motherhood to Dominic. Jack sounds like he’s trying to put Sharon out of the therapy business. His brand of therapy is “let’s get to the chase”. He lured Ashley, into his office under the false pretenses of wanting to put their tension behind them. Then, he proceeded to tell her how she felt, why she felt that way and what she could do about it. If it was only that easy. Both Jack and Ashley need to do some self-reflecting and find a way to get past their own self righteousness. They need to dig down deep and remember what bonds them. Jack… Read more »
Can’t wait to see Ashley eat all of that crow once it is revealed to all that Phyllis is alive! Summer got her a big bite of it already! Nikki deserves the same meal as well!
I hope that happens! PLEASE! JUSTICE FOR DIANE! But already both Summer and Daniel are selling a wagon full of complete nonsense about how nothing is Phyllis’ fault and she was driven to do everything she did by her children, her friends and Jeremy. What a load of you know what. If that is the story they plan to tell, it’s ridiculous. And certainly not a criminal defense for framing someone for murder. Jeremy’s death may be self defense, but even that is hard to prove.
Let’s hope this is the load Summer & Daniel are selling but not Y&R.
Previews for next week have Kyle and Jack I assume in the hotel room where Phyllis and Stark were last seen together. I guess it will be revealed how they knew where the room was. For now it appears so odd for them to know exactly where Phyllis and Stark were staying.
I think Michael was trying to get info on Stark and his whereabouts prior to his death.
That ambulence driver can clear things up in a hurry. I’d forgotten this plot point but somebody brought up how come the torched ambulence wasn’t on the proper Old Decator Road (Ellen!) to the hospital? Suspicious, Chance Chancellor, super sleuth?
THANK YOU DANIEL!!!!! Not only did this handsome man drop the bombshell that Phyllis is alive, he also protected Summer by taking the heat for being the one his mom reached out to. I love how he cut straight to the big reveal, no fluff or dragging the whole thing out till next week.
I appreciated how quickly Daniel moved as well. Wonder how soon will Summer know what Daniel did. They both will surely have to stay on the same page with this. Should Kyle learn how long Summer has known about this will really be an explosive scenario.
I agree. It will eventually come out and Kyle will think he has a reason to flirt with Audra.
Is he really going to be interested in Audra? I can’t even remember they having much in the way of scenes? OK, I don’t remember any but I think they did. Kyle needs a woman to mother him along alongside Diane while Audra needs a real man.
It is really going to put Summer more in the hot seat than ever. As I have little sympathy for Phyllis the mother, I have little sympathy for Summer the daughter. What about a new poll?

Jack blasts Daniel for his preposterous belief that this whole thing should be put on hold because Summer, the unfortunate little waif Jack brought into the world,s feelings might be hurt if it became known Phyllis reached out to him in this matter over her. Thanks for the presentation Daniel, but that part was WEAK…
Exzasperated as Harmony & Devon take over the Friday episode in what was supposed to be an exciting break in the Diane Jenkins murder case.

I am not excited at all about Harmony’s return. I have forgotten her long-ago part in the story. Did I like it then?
I am not feeling her at all. She is now this cool wisdom sexy chick when she was intense before. Not that i remember her much but so different from Debi Morgan. But being that this one is the original i guess my argument doesn’t have a leg to stand on. Harmony, in one boring episode of scenes completely tried to rehabilitate Devon from all his recent sins including stealing Abby & Dominic from Chance Chancellor. Devon Winters you are audacious.
Debi Morgan will always be AMC’s Angie to me… such a sweetheart.

I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SAY THIS. But I want the old Adam back. This version looks weak and pathetic with no backbone, pinning after Sally. I want him to destroy Slutty Sally. Adam should bring Dollar Bill from B&B to take out that cold unfeeling woman and I don’t want her to carry to term. She would weaponize that child against Adam.
Take her out.

Gary, My Chatter Friend, You will hopefully understand my anger and rage about Sally when you see Monday’s episode. Or you may totally disagree with me. But for me I have turned against Sally after how and what she says to Adam. To me she was unnecessarily cruel and mean to him. But maybe you will see it differently and give me the other perspective.
Ugh.That’s so disappointing to hear Sharod. Thanks for the heads up. I’m losing patience with Sally too. She listens to the wrong people and isn’t listening to her heart. And her relationship with Nick is so paternalistic; it’s all about him taking care of and protecting her. When Adam does that, he does it with respect. Put Adam with Adura and watch Sally come crawling back!
I agree for story purposes that Adam needs a gf… or at least a date… or a hook-up… except his present priority is ‘being a father.’ I forget what Adam’s father role was when Connor was a baby, toddler, young child. Was he involved? Did he know about Connor? Or has his fatherhood focus been since ‘becoming a better man?’ (aka NTPA.) I can’t always keep up w/all the characters’ (not just Adam’s) transformations over the years. But anyway, give Adam a date!
I agree with both of you. She is written as so over caucious now with having been dumped by Adam when she is a perceptive person who knows that while Adam was unkind he thought he was doing her a favor. Sally knows Adam well enough to be able to understand why he misguidedly did what he did and give him another chance. At least she got pissed off at Nick for getting on his high horse and trying to control her business decisions on Thursday. It took some time but I think Y&R did a nice job of bringing Sally into the center of the show as a real character where sometimes they fail. Many are intrigued by this Audra but i question that she will ever get there.
Since it is apparent that characters can change their last names on shows without getting married. I think it time for Mariah to change her last name in honor of biological and real Mother Sharon.
It hit me awhile back that why has Mariah kept the name of the woman who kidnapped and mistreated her. If Devon can now become a Winters then for Christmas, I want Mariah Copeland to become Mariah Collins.
I sent this suggestion to Y&R earlier today. Hey they gave me Devon Winters. Now I am taking another shot.
