I ask: Have they shared the flashback of Nicki and Sharon carrying Cameron thru the sewers? If so, I missed it…if not, I hope they do.

I voted yes. We have been asking for a stalking storyline and a villain for a while. This storyline is very intriguing. We need some exciting drama that is not only corporate. We didn’t really get much of a stalking story line with Amanda and her ex. It wasn’t very exciting and it was very brief. This story line shows us that Y&R is listening to the fans at Y&R chat and that they care about us by giving us what we want. We should be grateful for all they do for the fans.

I voted no, but it’s a tough one. I do like that Sharon has a storyline and how it is roping Nick into it and brining the drama. But it’s the type of villain Cameron is and the level of uncomfortable feeling I get watching his attempted rape and assault and knowing that he very much would do that again because he feels entitled to Sharon and in any way he wants. Icky and Yuck!

And the Cameron character is dastardly, but not a beloved character who became evil, and subsequently redeemable. Michael Baldwin was a part of Y&R, then went dark, and is redeemed, now a long-running character. So his “evil” storyline was accepted and we rooted for him to get through it. Adam Newman’s character did some awful things, but we already loved him, so we watched with horror and fascination. A baby switch, pushing someone down a stairs, gaslighting (one of my favorites). Example from annother show: Roger Thorpe (Guiding Light) He was loved, very evil, and redeemable. Y&R doesn’t have any… Read more »

Roger Thorpe is a good comparison. What a memorable character!

I voted no, but in a way, it is a good storyline – just set out of place. It came out of nowhere. There were so many flashbacks because it was long enough ago that it might not be remembered by many current viewers. But it isn’t felt. There were a few gift clues, but not a long enough buildup to make Sharon afraid or paranoid. There should have been time for her to wonder, to think maybe…., to share her theory with Nick, for them both to wonder – and come together before they found out who, and “why”… Read more »

I’m liking the story, but I definitely agree w/you that it came on too fast. Presto ‘ it’s Cameron! A slower build-up of suspense would have been more unsettling, and esp. if dang spoilers hadn’t already tipped off viewers. Spoilers make everything anti-climactic. I’m not a fan.

I voted yes! Sharon and her loved ones are all in danger, imminent danger, is there any other kind?! Cameron is looking at his Newman Security stuff so he has been on the ranch twice at least, yikes! I’m scared for everyone!

I voted yes. Y&R has been trying to give us a decent villain .Maybe Cameron is it. he is devious, evil, but fun to watch. Hope he doesn’t get to Faith and attack her like he did Sharon in the past.
