I don’t think the Writer’s Strike is to blame for the fragmented storytelling and odd storylines, that’s Josh Griffiths, who took over all the writing in the late Spring when they fired a bunch of head writers.

Lol, I wouldn’t even know of this poll if I thought the episodes were ‘average’ or below… because then I wouldn’t be watching! I watch YnR (and any fictional TV) purely for fun and entertainment. I certainly wouldn’t choose to spend any time w/ANYthing I found ‘average’ or below (annoying…disappointing… negative, negative, negative…) – HECK, no! Yes, I hope Y&R outlives me also! I can’t explain the feeling except the show is my constant in a world ever-changing.

I gave the show a C. Some random thoughts: Not nearly enough Adam, but of course I’m biased there. Breaking up Adam and Sally was so dumb IMO—they were a dynamic couple both personally and in the business setting. And for what? So the Newman brothers could SHARE yet another woman??? BARF. Victor is just a horrendous old bully now instead of a wise patriarch, Nikki supposedly has MS? She doesn’t project much in terms of navigating life’s ups and downs either. The Abbotts are more defined and have more story—but Ashley is now just an awful shrew, which is… Read more »
