I voted no for fan events. I did it for GH years ago and DOOL, but not for Y&R. Saw Jack Wagner in concert once and it was pandemonium . Fans were nuts! My young daughter wanted to come at the time she was about 8 years old ,she had to wear earmuffs the screaming was so bad. I think I’m done with fan events, but like reading about them
Nate is getting his “comeuppance” full blast…first Elena…then Nikki…so sweetly done by Adam….and topped by Victoria!! He did not have a very good day all the way around and still must find a way to “take care or meet Audra’s needs”; his ambitious plans are truly going awry
I particularly loved the moment when Nate tried to shame Adam and was knocked down. I see Nates world to be like a three ring circus, he’s on the outside running from act to act trying to be a main attraction. So far he’s only distracting me from the big show.
Ron, (forgive the phrasing Chatters). But Victoria is D-Matized by Nate. All see really sees right now is Beefcake. Also, let’s not forget, that Adam, is not allowed to really win.

Don’t count Nate out. There is that old addage. The truth will set you free. And still get you what you want.
Phyllis will never reach favor w/viewers who don’t like her. The things that make her ‘awful’ to some are just ‘Phyllis’ and will never change. Even had she gone to prison, viewers who wanted that would still hate on her. Phyllis will always live her Phyllis-life, acting all Phyllisy w/her Phyllisisms as she sees everything through her Phyllis-colored glasses. She will always and forever play the Phyllis-angle. A prison gig would hardly convert any of her haters, lol.
Wasn’t Phyllis originally a character to be short-lived that caught on? I seem to remember reading that somewhere… She’s definitely one of a kind (for better or worse). Some of the things she does and says makes me cringe, but I’m always entertained. I’m still a Diane fan though.
So true…so true!!! I couldn’t have said it better. Phyllis is complex yet simple. She lives on impulses and her sometimes misguided sense of right and wrong at that given moment. I am not familiar with the entire history of her since I didn’t start watching Y&R until, iirc, Adam gaslighted Ashley, stealing Faith from Sharon. However, you will love her, hate her, but you can never be indifferent to her. Phyllis will bring out some type of emotional reaction to her behavior or life choices.
Okay, as much as I really would like to put the whole Phyllis Escapade behind us I just keep thinking about that bathroom window. I have never seen a bathroom window in a motel , or any hotel for that matter.and if there was a window it would be blocks or some kind you can’t see through, or at the very least, small and up high. And am I remembering this incorrectly ? But wasn’t there a body stolen from the morgue to be found as phyllis’s burnt remains in the ambulance crash? Agree, Phyllis will always be Phyllis and most people find her entertaining, but I think she should try to change her behavior ,so she doesn’t lose Summer and Daniel for good.
So as I best understand (still not fully caught up, only grabbing bits and pieces as I try to keep up before able to watch what I’ve missed. .), Phyllis ‘did the ‘right thing’ by pleading guilty?… and she then took a shot at begging for mercy? She seems to be getting a lot of hate (at least from some viewers) for this, but it’s not her fault the GC court system base logic, law, and justice determinations by soap standards, lol. I think Phyllis should have went to jail for a bit, not sure she learned her lesson by the judge letting her off with community service and probation. But I figured she would get off but thought Heather was going to do it. Phyllis will always be her worst enemy and I don’t think she is done with her manipulations and hatred of Diane, even after all this
LOL!! Miss Phyllis kicked off her redemption tour with a whole tea party in the middle of Chancellor Park. I love her…….shocking revelation right ……however, I totally understand why Summer and Daniel are fed up with their mamma. The character traits that make Phyllis a blast to watch are the same traits that have driven her kids to the point of, no more talking about growing as a person, show me, let your actions speak for you.
I am having a hard time keeping up on my chatting lately. With the new job, I take a quick lunch and don’t get to watch Y&R until late in the evenings. I surely can’t sit out in my car like I did in Nashville. This Louisiana heat has been a killer this year. My takes on this week: I don’t know what to think about Ashley or Tucker. I like Ashley and Tucker, although I know Tucker loves Ashley but not sure she loves him. She is hard to read on this. I don’t think Billy will turn against jack and Diane but he will have fun looking like he is doing that. Phyllis will never change. Wonder what kind of community service. she will get ,she will continue to cause trouble . Working with Sharon ,Nick, and Adam should give her incentive to get on with her life and forget about Diane ,but I doubt it. If Nate was truly devoted to Newman, he would have told Victoria and Nikki know about Audra being blackmailed by Adam. Together, they could come up with a solution to the blackmail evidence. Nate is one handsome guy, but this was not a savvy move. Another example of Nate not controlling all the pieces on the board, is Audra going rogue. Thus, leaving Adam with the upper hand.
I am annoyed by Sharon’s business scenes where she comes down on Adam. If you don’t like his modus of operandi you shouldn’t have begged him to come work with you. The Nate/Audra crisis is not interesting to me. I am too dumb to get all the complexities of it so I give the intrigue a big yawn.
Sally Spectra had a present for Adam in the previews but for the life of me I couldn’t make out what she said.
She says, “Oh, Happy Housewarming”. (I put on my closed captions lol)
Oh Henry….Kudos to you for you have said exactly what I was thinking and/or felt. Her attitude, testiness and interaction with Adam is appalling!!! She came to him proposing a business merger, with the understanding of equal partnership yet she acts like another Victoria…..Adam is only valued for what she wants as long as he meets her demands.
ALI, for frosting on the cake I’d like you to special message your cryptic screenshot to Summer & Daniel with the court now obsolete. Supposedly, in part, Phyllis went psycho because Summer & Daniel had abandoned her. Here we are again. Lauren Fenmore is a chump. Her input that the kids should go halfway with mom to feel the love is not welcome. Phyllis points up how Christine didn’t win but Lauren counters with the fact that she didn’t oppose the judge’s ruling. What is that? THE CHARGES WERE NOT “DROPPED”.You pled guilty. You are GUILTY of all charges Phyllis. No wonder your children are fed up with you! Of course you run around drinking champagne in the park and acting this way! That ridiculous judge gave you a light tap on the wrist for very serious crimes. You will learn nothing from this and take zero responsibility. I wonder what Lily will think??? She did hard prison time for taking her eyes off the road while driving. INTERESTING.
What is happening in this party screen cap? Phyllis getting out of jail free? Daniel’s birthday? This ought to be good moving beyond yesterday’s fake business intrigue.
Oh. It is fanciful that Phyllis would celebrate her freedom with a circus in the middle of Central Park. It has a Jolly Holiday Mary Poppins feel to it though I have yet to be 3 minutes into episode. Oh, right Ellen. The charges were not dropped. Phyllis plead guilty. Just no punishment. Yet it is accepted that she killed dangerous criminal Jeremy Stark in self-defense. What a world! What a world!
Exactly—I see they are just sweeping it all under the rug. I think the long range planning function on storylines is BROKEN. They need to unplug it and plug it in again. Restart it! Don’t drag us through stories and then give up on them. And I actually liked Jeremy Stark! They could have kept him around. (Okay I know I am complaining a lot, I’ll stop, for now, no promises though…)
Nikki advising Audra she doesn’t like to be played. She doesn’t like to be buttered up. She always prefers directness. To chatters who love Nikki; it’s a step up from Nikki entering a room saying to Victor, “Hello Darling”.
Nikki can ‘bring it’ for sure – she is one tough scrapper behind her society-dame facade. I just love her character; she has such a rich history. Nikki one-zillion-names-in-between Newman is of my faves – even when relegated to ‘Hello Darlings’ and judgey faces.. all just part of who she is – and not one does it better! Haven’t yet seen the scene you refer to, but Audra would become very small potatoes indeed when pitted against a Nikki full-blown in all of her ‘Nikki-ness.’ Meeeeeee-yowsa.
Nikki is as fake as they come. A stiff breeze could blow her over without all the Newman trappings these days. She has forgotten what real people go through. I hope someone reminds her someday soon—her and the whole nasty clan.

I’m going to try this Sue—just enjoy the fakeness! Nikki doesn’t have Katherine around anymore to tell her the truth, so she’s just not that deep. No wonder Victor calls her “My Baby” (ewwwwwww).
Ellen…you cracked me up…I almost fell out my chair laughing so hard at your post. You are right about this nasty clan especially regarding Adam!! No wonder Adam feels nothing completely for this Newman group…never been welcoming and always expressing nothing but low or no good expectations of him.

Adam tells Audra that Victoria hates him and fears him. He says Victoria thinks he’s going to push her off her throne. He advises Audra to make Nikki her best friend before Victor comes back to town! Giving Adam more screen time by pairing him with multiple characters has been refreshing! And according to the previews; Sally is visiting Adam at ‘his” place with a gift! Hoping Sue W and I will get our wish by seeing him lounging on his leather sofa in “less than” a suit!! Waiting…..
