Diane is the one thing I’m not questioning on this show right now. She’s making me proud!
I am abstaining from voting because I am torn between Yes and No!!! Prior to now I was leery of any motives and/or actions taken by Diane because of her first attempt she made to reconnect with Jack and reclaim her life in Genoa City. However as she strove to do so, she was caught time and time again in lies or mistruths. As time has moved on, I seem to have adopted a “”maybe she is for real” yet keeping my “wait and see” for Diane does appear to have controls and influences with Jack that are fairly intense.… Read more »
I voted “NO”. I don’t feel Diane is a threat or is up to something. Her “haters” seem to want her to walk on water or something to prove that she has changed. I’m all in and on “Team Diane”. I truly think she just wants to live a happy life as Jack’s wife, mother to Kyle , and grandmother to Harrison. I just wish all would just let her be.
I’m not a Diane “hater”, Diane remains up to no good.
No, not thus far. But I’d love to see that either change or be revealed as she’s carefully been playing a long (looooong) game- and IS (has) been up to something nefarious. The fallout would be a great emoting showcase for all cast involved. I’m all for soapy mess, lol; ‘re-writes’ don’t bother me a whit in the clearly ludicrous story-telling world of Daytime Tv. Plots and characters change and/or come-and-go… for me it doesn’t matter – the actors HANDLE it, so my over-crowded brain doesn’t have to bother!

I voted No, I don’t see it. Y&R has shown no hints from Diane’s perspective that she is plotting something. Not even a sinister look for the camera to hint to the audience that she is deceiving them. Compared to Adam, we get comments like “you want a war” in regards to Victor that signal he is plotting something. It would be a twist if Diane turns out to be deceitful. If Diane all of a sudden becomes a threat to what is now HER own family company, to Kyle’s family company, or to somehow hurt Jack, it’s a total rewrite. At some point they may want to write Diane out and they will suddenly turn her bad. For now Diane is back in GC to reclaim her family and make up for lost time. Living in exile and being under Jeremy’s control was not the good life. She is in GC for her second chance.
Don’t forget about her involvement with Tucker.
Rewrites aren’t uncommon for the people of GC either.
I cannot wait to see what happens next.
