Why?? Jack isn’t in their family lol!
I voted team Abbotts! My decision was partially based on what family I would prefer to be a part of, but the Abbot’s have a warmer feeling to them than the Newmans. Also Traci Abott is a major sway in my vote and also the Abotts have Mrs Martinez cookies and zippy the fox lol!
It was painful to have to vote for the Abbott family on this one since my favorite character, you all will be SHOCKED to learn, is Adam. But the Newmans are just very difficult to like or root for these days—except for Adam, of course. The Abbotts, except for Ashley, still seem to have complicated, nuanced human emotions that I can see and relate to. I want to see Jack, Diane, dopey Kyle and invisible Harrison establish a new core family within the Abbott mansion. Lol, key word ‘like’? As a human – I had to vote Abbotts. IN GENERAL, they seem pleasant and genuine; their house seems ‘a home.’ And… IN GENERAL, The Newmans seem prickly and pretentious; The Newman Ranch seems more a ‘palatial place of residence.’ Overall, imho, The Newmans are just one ‘unlikeable’ bunch! (But – make no mistake: I LOVVVE them, anyway, lol!) All in all, I see both The Abbotts and The Newmans as great, soapy dynasties. (As a soap fan – my vote would be split…)
I like the Newmans better at the moment.
