LONG rant! I can’t stand this trainwreck of a triangle btwn Adam/Sally/Nick & I haven’t even seen this week’s scenes. I just know how horrible they are because of chatter on twitter. I have no sympathy for Nick (or Sally for that matter). Why is Nick mad about Adam when he KNEW Sally was still in love with Adam?! When Adam even asked him last year to back off yet not even 5 mins later Nick was setting up a date with Sally. Adam is one of my favorite characters and I had enjoyed Sally at one time. Now she just annoys me! As you point out she does hide behind Nick. If she actually loves Nick then Adam would not bring out all this angst she parades around in. She wears that heartbreak like a badge of honor.
I just wanted to thank you Ali for all of your hard work on the website. I know this week has been very busy for you with the transition. I am disappointed when I can’t alway be on here during the week to read comments and participate with the conversations. The evenings I don’t always have the energy to watch the show and comment on the website. I am and always will always be a fan of the show and Y&R chat.
What’s this about a migration? I’ve been out of the loop.
It always bothers me how Nikki speaks to Adam and always accuses him of not caring about his dad or anyone for that matter. Does NIkki forget that Adam took a bullet for his dad and saved her grand daughters life by donating his kidney. What about when he saved his brother from getting hurt in the storm a few years ago. I don’t recall Victoria or Nick doing anything life saving for anyone. Nikki is like the evil stepmom when it comes to Adam. I really would like to see her character soften a little towards Adam. It will be nice to see Daniel’s new apartment, This is being done so that Danny has a place to entertain and grow closer to Christine when she gets back to Genoa City! I look forward to seeing more of Danny and Christine’s relationship grow and strengthen and the romance that will follow. I am very happy that these characters are back on the show. This was a great move on Y&R as I think many fans will enjoy this story line and love triangle with Phyllis come full circle again.
I found it interesting when Adam told Victoria recently that she was the one to watch out for at the company. I have been wondering ever since if this was foreshadowing something that she will do as Adam very rarely stands up for himself. I was hoping that Victoria and Adam would grow closer and it appears this may happen with all three siblings as they band together due to this game Victor is playing with them, making them think he is having paranoia and memory loss.
I am catching up with Y&R this week. Good to be on here. Claire mentioned that the company has a softball team. That would be fun to see Nate and Adam in their uniforms at the game. We need some more outdoor scenes once in a while other than the park. It would be fun to see some of the characters in action or give us the illusion with a baseball stand or dug out. New scenery is always a treat.
I don’t understand Mamie trusting Tucker. It is crazy. How would they get rid of Jill? I’m confused.
I’m confused also. Tucker told Mamie he wants to secure Devon and Dom’s future! Devon is a bizillionaire so how more secure does he need to be? Mamie could have moved back to GC years ago and made the effort to pull “the cousins “ together. There must be more motivation than either party will disclose, but what could it be?
That is a good point that Devon is a billionaire! Why would he need his dad to secure his future?
Nikki isn’t that especially bad. Sure, she lies, and plots, but so does everyone else in the show.
Tucker is scary when he’s mad. Yikes

I have been doing personal cleanup and organization of 51 years of snapshots/prints/digital photos. So I understand, Ali, the concept of your migration of Y&RChat. Just to comment, as of today, website still slow to load.

Danny needs to watch out for Phyllis. She’s acting giggly as a high school girl around him. What’s going on with her?

Is there an Emmy for best prop placement? If so, Y & R has it in the bag. (Pun intended)
Nice to see Nate and Adam actually getting along. When Adam reaches out to Nate and asks what he thinks should be done about making sure Victor is alright; Nate tells him that they need to shift into “protective mode”. I liked Nate being able to show some of his skills as a doctor; by acknowledging Adam’s concerns and noting they will look out for Victor.
A little shocking to see someone being decent to Adam. I thought I was watching the wrong show.
Nice scene when Lily and Daniel came upon Phyllis and Danny in the Park! Daniel told them about his new apartment; and told Danny that he has a guest room with his name on it!
Am really enjoying all the scenes in the Park!
Enjoyed the scene with Lily and Daniel in his new apartment! Liked the humor between them about the fact that he is now living in the same building as Lily; and actually in the apartment below hers! He said he will need a decorator; and she suggested that he become Sally’s first client! This scene confirmed for me; that he and Lily need to stay together; no matter how hard Heather tries to win back his heart!
