I voted that Nate deserved to be fired. He has been plotting with Audra from the beginning to take over Newman at some point. He should have known he would never get close enough to the top to do that. He will end up at Chancellor/Winters to cause more trouble there. He will want a significant position with power which Devon will fight against. He should go back to being a doctor

Ali, I respectfully disagree with the number of correct answers in last week’s “Who Said It Game”. I submitted Kyle as my answer. Something may have gone wrong technically or it could have been just an oversight. As you know I pride myself as being “The Undisputed King of Quote” and my record is stellar. 🙂 This happened once before and the problem was on my end…..I may have been premature in hitting submit before I saw the narrative that “My entry was successful”,etc. Please double check this. However, no big deal if I don’t get a shout-out. I’m just… Read more »
And, Ali, I’m STILL laughing at your recent musing on a scenario where Nikki would find herself attracted to Adam!!! Ahahahahaha! That would be true soapy, soap, soap stuff, indeed! And I’d love it. (The only other comparable soapy, soap, soap scenario I can think of would be if Sally gets back together w/Adam… has ‘conflicted’ good-bye sex w/Nick… and is then pregnant w/Nick’s baby – revealed from yet another oh, so angsty paternity test, of course… ahahahahaha! Then all the ‘Nick raising Christian’-bashers could be vindicated when Adam raises that baby, lol!) Soapy soap messes – I love ’em.
The Lily and Danny scene in the dimly lit apartment was a brilliant way to hide her pregnancy! And it was fun!

Oh boy. I sure hope Summer’s inner Phyllis doesn’t come out and try to do something to Sharon!

Ali ! A big ‘thank you’ as always for YnR Chat… I have little to no clue as to what’s involved to create and maintain this site, let alone change hosts (or servers, or whatever you’ve had to do/been doing). But, WOW, I appreciate it all. Thank you again for all you do; while I don’t understand the site ‘change,’ I respect your know-how, dedication, and hard work that support YnR I continue to regularly listen to your re-caps portion of the weekly podcasts – your enthusiam, insight, and humor reflect back and add to my always enjoying all things… Read more »

Does Phyllis have any idea how lucky she is that the only thing she has to worry about now is that she doesn’t have a date for Friday night?

For me, with The Waltons, with their incredible meal spreads in every episode, there is so much talk as to how the actors managed to never actually put a single bite into their mouths. Not so with Lily & Daniel who are stuffing that lasagna down their gullets as fast as they can in todays scene at The Authletic Club. Great food and a great selection. With Lola gone does everybody still have to choose from a Cuban menu only at Society?

Ali and fellow chatters, please help me out! Are next week’s previews alluding to the fact that Claire’s aunt is Nikki’s sister? (I’m really confused!) And…what location is Nikki in when Claire attacks her? I don’t recognize it! Thx
It’s been ages since we’ve seen Casey. I guess they can fill in whatever they want for a backstory here, but Claire wouldn’t be a blood relation to Nikki unless she were Casey’s daughter rather than niece, right? She must be a niece via Casey’s husband since there are no other siblings to Nikki and Casey? Is that right? I didn’t recognize the location.
They are probably at Casey’s house. Nikki goes to see her. Claire probably follows her. What she has against Nikki I can’t figure out, but she probably is Casey’s daughter.

The scene between Phyllis and Summer was great! Phyllis explained to Summer that no matter how Sharon acts; her intentions are always going to be towards Nick!
Sharon and Nick are deadly dull together for me. I may be in the minority though. They are great as friends, comfortable like an old pair of slippers—but an exciting, dynamic couple—not at all. They were a teenage romance that fell apart spectacularly. Nick actually cheated on Sharon when Cassie DIED. And his relationship with Phyllis was not a fling, it was a marriage and it led to Summer. And they keep telling us that Adam is such a terrible, selfish person? Hah! Nick hurt Sharon deeply and it took a long time to heal. Now. I just see zero… Read more »
Loved the hospital scene today with Nina and Chance! It was a very sweet scene where they both told each other how much they loved each other. These two actors are not on the screen enough; hope to see much more of them together.

Enjoyed the scene today at the coffee shop when Phyllis “sucked it up” and told Danny and Christine to have a wonderful dinner. Her acting skills are just as great when she plays angry and devious. But I would much rather watch her when she plays sickening sweet and over the top kind!! (Again, it goes back to when she was running her hotel. She was “in charge”, bossy, laying down the law, with everyone that came into her establishment. All the while, she kept a smile on her face and acted happy go lucky day after day!) I like… Read more »
I liked when Phyllis ran the hotel too . She was good at it and she did interact with a lot more people on the show

I loved the baby Aria scenes and was pleased to learn about baby dolls with hearing aids. The deaf community was well represented. I’m so glad the fake mental illness story and looney bin commentary has ended. Although,I am confused how a doctor facilitating a treatment plan is translated as corporate espionage. ???

Where will Victoria be without Nate? She doesn’t have many options for male companionship. Newman Media surely has a dating app available for her to try out.

No, no, Henry. You must push for what is yours. Signed, GARY the guest
Thanks Gary!
Dear Y&R,
All I want for Christmas is a re-enactment of the Lady and the Tramp romantic Italian dinner with Christine and Danny.
Thank you,
Kamna
This works.

Could the role of Claire be short-lived or will Claire become the “new” Sheila Carter of Genova City?
I hope they keep Claire around for a while, she is doing a great job.
Earlier in the week when CG got the call, I thought she said Jordan…
Yeah, my assumption was that Claire is the daughter of Casey’s child. Maybe somehow she believes Nikki took something from Casey?
I believe Claire said her aunt lived in Oregon as you will find out.
They are probably at Casey’s house. Nikki goes to see her. Claire probably follows her. What she has against Nikki I can’t figure out, but she probably is Casey’s daughter.
