100% loved it! What’s not to like? Breaking the fourth wall, a laugh track, spooky David Lynch vibe. We so rarely get anything like that in Y&R, I’m all for knowing what’s going on in Sharon’s subconscious.

LOVED IT!! I hope the ‘dream noise’ of ‘Nick and Sharon forever’ FINALLY becomes reality. (But I wish there’d been actual flashbacks of their history shown during her dream, rather than just the verbal out-linings.) Sharon’s puzzled pov, ‘knowing it’s a dream,” was definitely relatable. Haven’t yet listened to Ali’s Chat, but I see in Sharon W.’s post that Ali did like the mock wedding… me too, I thought that whole thing – esp. Phyllis – was hilarious! And wow, after the dream was over, the teary-eyed Sharon was just heart-breaking as she broke things off (I guess?) w/Chance. Great… Read more »

I liked Sharon’s dream episode so much! As you mentioned on Sunday’s podcast that you liked the mock wedding; I viewed it the very same way! At first I thought it was goofy and silly; but as the scene went on the humor captured me. The laugh track was the best part. And the way each actor played off of each other was so entertaining! Throughout the rest of the dream, I just enjoyed how each actor seemed to compliment each other. The couples dancing, the singing, and the well decorated locations captured my attention! I really didn’t want them… Read more »
I voted no not so much because it was weird but more so because it took up the entire episode. I never like the dream episodes because i find them too long. I wouldn’t have minded if we saw her have the dream for a fraction of the episode. It would have been good to see a condensed version of Sharon’s dream and then still have a regular episode with all of the other characters. I am now remembering that I did like last years dream episode even though it took up the entire show. i remember it being comical… Read more »

I voted yes, I liked the dream episode for so many reasons. It was weird (like most dreams are) and it was beautifully directed. I thought the actors were able to subtly convey that things are not as they seem because it’s a dream, darn it so let’s have fun!! Sharon was wide eyed and had a slightly confused look. Billy was oddly mute at certain times. Tessa was like Tinker Bell but with a sexy undertone. Great episode.
