I voted yes to Adam and Sally getting back together, it’s about time! Never liked her with Nick. Sally and Adam are perfect for one another
Ali…in my “Katt Williams’ Voice” : “This seems to be occurring a bit often lately”. It appears that I wasn’t given a “shout-out” for last week’s quote. I typically submit my answer first thing each Sunday morning as soon as I see the quote. This is not to say that you overlooked me, I can only assume that there must be a glitch in the system somewhere. I have no doubt that I followed the proper procedure (s) for submitting an entry. I hope one day we will see Lauren and Michael’s apartment again. I always thought it was cool looking. It would have been a nice surprise for the new year if Lauren had of brought Nikki back to her place as i am sure Lauren would rather have been in the comfort of her own home with her husband there to help her with Nikki. I would be lying if I said I didn’t enjoy seeing Kyle punch Tucker in the face. He really did deserve it in the moment.

I found the worst part of the exchange between Ashley and Tucker to be when Tucker was mocking Ashley when she was crying and imitating her in a mean and cruel way. That was followed by telling her he doesn’t care about her. We don’t know if that actually happened. Ashley never mentioned that part of her recollection to Tucker and neither did Tucker as they were both talking about what they had said to each other that day. Sorry to say I am suspicious of the character Seth. He is entirely too happy-go-lucky and friendly. He really is too over the top to seem serious as a sponsor. (My theory is he is on the outside working for Aunt Jordan!!)
Anything is possible, but Sharon W, I disagree. These sponsors go all out for their charges. You, & Victor!
You have to realise that a sponsor is not assigned to you. Nikki would have chosen Seth because she related to him, and he would have agreed to take her on. Sponsors are people who have been in AA for quite a while.
Ashley is the most unsympathetic, supposedly sympathetic character that ever was. The queen bee has a brother that coddles her, makes excuses for her, does not remeber her betrayals of the past who she does not appreciate and rarely has a crumb of kindness or generosity towards. .
But is this too negative? Let me just re-state and say, Move on, Ashley. The exactness of the Paris exchange absolutely does not matter one iota.
It is such an odd state of affairs, the discrepancy Y&R is focusing on between Ashley & Tucker with the degree of anger that went down at that outdoor cafe in Paris. Both of these two are presenting the exact same step by step facts. One just says the level of ferociousness was more intense than the other. Its nothing. Get over it, Ashley. I don’t think Tucker trying to “gaslight” you. Will Ashley and Aunt Jorden end up in the same padded cell at Fairview? Ashley’s concern over a mind-snap is completely unjustified. We see Ashley obsessing about this Paris cafe argument every day for weeks now. Enough already! I’m tempted to knock over a few chairs and spill the wine just to get away from the flashbacks.
Its really odd. What does she care? Its over & done with. Nobody was hurt. Y&R, what is your point???
Glad to see Audra did not let Ashley get the best of her! She told Ashley that Tucker is often frustrating; however, she tells her she has never seen Tucker show the physical anger that Ashley is describing. Ashley stormed out while talking to Audra…….and later after talking to Tucker, she stormed out the very same way! This really helps me to continue believing that Tucker’s take on the Paris restaurant scene actually was the way he described it!
The tenderness Victor continues to show to Nikki is still working for me. He tells her they will start over at the beginning of her road to healing. Victor tells her that she needs his help, but he also needs her help. Watching the two of them lean on each other is heartwarming and enjoyable to watch!
So glad Claire did not change her mind and sympathize with Aunt Jordan when she met with her! I thought there was a chance that Claire would feel sorry for her after seeing her in prison. Instead, Claire seemed to hold on to her anger and bitterness toward her! Enjoyed seeing Aunt Jordan lash out at Claire and telling her that it will be over when she says it’s over. However, would have liked to see Aunt Jordan get more angry and try to escape somehow with Claire in tow!!
Can anyone describe what type of “outfit” Phyllis is wearing in next week’s previews? I re-watched the scene a couple of times; but really could not figure it out! LOL. At least we know she is going after Danny. Can’t wait.
Saw it pretty quickly, but I think she was trying a sexy bra over her clothes to see what it could look like. The bra and panties will eventually be the outfit she will use to lure Danny.

Yes, I can explain it. Those are black ‘panties’ you saw. She is pulling out the big guns. But here’s the thing: Those are Michelle S’s lacy under pants you saw. I know because I saw the actress promoting them and running around in them with a matching black bra on Instagram (on the Facebook scroll) in a feature where she was showing what she would be wearing to the Daytime Emmys. Thanks for the detailed explanation! I watched the awards; but there was never a close enough view where I could actually see the complete outfit. Your explanation will make it easier for all of us to enjoy the upcoming scenes between Phyllis and Danny! I don’t understand why Ashley is still fretting about the argument in Paris! Move on! If she is firmly believing her version then stop obsessing about Tucker’s version.

Nick is or was jealous of Adam because Adam has done so many selfless, even heroic things. Nick wants to be the hero in every situation and wants to be the only Good Guy in every room. Adam can easily list things he’s done for the Newman family. What can Nick list to qualify for good guy or hero?
Thank you for this. As Adam’s very fake defense attorney I completely agree. Adam has put his life on the line so many times for these Newmans— but that very rarely gets mentioned. Only his misdeeds get dredged up—and never the circumstances surrounding those misdeeds. Nick is no saint, but the nasty things he has done are rarely thrown in his face. Hence, I long to smack Nick with my rolled up newspaper.

LOVED everything about the Adam-Sally reunion! The Italian Sparkling Water so so cute, Sally smiling and glowing, the “come up for truffles” invitation, and the tenderness. AndI don’t think I’ve seen Adam smile that wide in a very long time! Please Y&R, give them a happy 2024, maybe even ending in a wedding?!
