That’s pretty good when your captor begs to be put in a real prison. Victor has gotten himself into a true bind. What do Chatters think he will do with her? There are limitations for a soap opera character. Even Victor Newman. The witch is a comiic foil, but she murdered a man, Seth. I only know Nikki must return revitalized to turn the tables on the drunken Aunt Jorden for the story to come full circle. Victor’s deception is enormous. Will the evolution of this story be that he has torn his family apart with the lie that Aunt… Read more »
I think Victor is still several chess moves ahead. The writers are setting it up to make us think that Victor is going to do something really diabolical—like enlisting Jordan to harm Jack Abbott (or worse). Jordan will also think that he’s doing that. And then at the last moment, Victor turns the tables and Jordan does something to get herself killed. That way, the secret of Victor’s illegal imprisonment will remain a secret.
Prediction: in the weeks ahead, we’re going to think Victor is plotting with Jordan to do something super-evil.
I think in the coming weeks Someone will discover her. Victoria or Cole? Doesn’t anyone go down to the wine cellar. Does anyone in the house even know Victor has a jail down there?
They will keep Jordan going somehow, just like they did with Sheila Carter on B&B. She is too good a villain to kill off. She will escape somehow like she always does.

When Aunt Jordan took a swat at Victor through her jail bars; it just showed us that she still has a lot of life left in her!! And a lot of anger! Best part of this scene was when Victor swatted back! LOL
I feel like the show is over doing it with Harrison’s adoration for Claire. It seems phony and not organic. Harrison and Claire met for all of a few minutes at the coffee shop and she told a funny joke! That is the extent of it. Now we are to believe that Harrison has this unexplainable super strong love connection to Claire. The only other time they spent time together was when she went to read him a story. Claire didn’t spend very much time even doing that as they were both kidnapped before she even finished the book. In… Read more »
I agree with all your points. Also, nannies are educated professionals with degrees and years of hands on experience working with children. If Claire wants to work with children, she should enroll in classes. Even Victoria started out in the mailroom at Newman. Let’s find another route to a Kyle and Claire romance.
I agree it was too quick the bond that was formed . They could have kept them together when kidnapped and Claire could have taken care of him, gave him emotional support. It was a plot device to have Summer hate Claire glaring at her, fighting with Kyle over her seeing Harrison, but we all know Claire will end up being the nanny. Claire couldn’t be that good, she must have some secrets or physcological issues going on.
Also, don’t bite the hand that feeds you. Jack and Kyle are the only reason she was redeemed for her past. I did like her encounter with Phyllis, she won that round.

I found it a little hypocritical and almost comical when Phyllis and Summer were talking about how Phyllis doesn’t compare to Claire because Phyllis didn’t try to kill 5 people and watch them die. No Phyllis did not, she only tried to kill 2 people and watch them die! …Remember Christine and Paul and your car Phyllis?! It doesn’t make you that different. We could even add in Jeremy Stark as we don’t really know if Phyllis had to use self-defence as she claims.
I don’t know how Claire doesn’t have to go back to the mental facility??? She was kidnapped in a dark storage locker with a dead person on top of her and she seems to quite fine after this ordeal. Just being in there for 5 minutes would feel like 5 hours. She also didn’t know if she was going to die in there. I don’t know how long it was supposed to be that she was in there? Either way, it amazes me that Claire has only said that she was a “little shooken up” when she was asked how… Read more »
So many questions about the cell! Shower, bathroom, change of clothes, feeding, cleaning up… Is someone on Victor’s security team “handling” all this in some way (which would seemingly give Jordan a greater opportunity to escape). Or are we meant to believe that Victor is the only one who knows?
Overthinking it, I’m sure.
Also, while I’m always Team Victor, I’m still slightly concerned about how he gets away with this rather serious felony.
I think the same thing when Summer says that as well. At the same time, Harrison seems to have become her son as Tara has apparently either abandoned her son or has been put away for life for a small petty crime. Summer repeats the words “My son” and Phyllis repeats ‘My daughter’. I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
Not a great fan of Summer. But she has legal rights to Harrison. Not to mention an emotional connection. I feel the viewers forgot that when Kyle and Summer(played by Hunter King)was off the canvas in Italy and got married, that she became his legal guardian.
I remember. I’ve not ever understood how viewers have been upset w/Summer caring for Harrison (other than what some maybe perceive as inappropriate semantics calling him ‘her son’ or she ‘his mother’? I say “Tom-ay-to, to-mah-to.”) It remains to be seen how Summer will react if Kyle should ever challenge her rights and/or Tara should return. But thus far, Summer’s has loved and embraced caring for Harrison.
I want to state for the record that I am in not way upset about Summer caring for Harrison. She became his mother when Tara left the show and went to prison. It bothers me that the show never followed through with Tara not being acknowledged as his mother after she exited the show.. It was written as if she never existed and we were all supposed to just forget he had a mother. She was never mentioned again which never made any sense. Prisoners are allowed visitors. Tara was a good mom to Harrison.
I still maintain that the very best parents don’t commit crimes. Love, provide, and play all the parenting ideals one can, and then… welp, also teach how to embezzle? Or teach a child NOT to do what his or her supposedly best role model does? (Oh, DID.) Ok, that’s not confusing… well, surely not if coated in ‘learning from Mommy’s mistakes.’ Lose/lose – a great parent who’s a criminal is an oxymoron to me. But paying one’s dues, rehabilitation, classes, etc.etc. and all that reparation do-gooding make NTPAs good parents moving forward. So our society says. Ok. Good, not great,… Read more »
Ok, sorry for my holier-than-thou rant. Defenseless kids at the mercy of reckless adults just rankles me like nothing else. But I can let it go on soaps, lol, so bring Tara and her white pants back! (I did actually like the character along w/her style, lol. Loved! the actress.)
Me too! I was so hoping that in the park Kyle would shout, He’s not your son!

Jack and Kyle are about to get The Real Diane Jenkins.
I am One Hundred Thousand Percent on Team Diane.
You nailed it. (And she’s no Puff.) Sigh, I prefer the Mamie of yore… today’s acerbic version has sullied her memory for me. This character is fine, but I’d have an easier time accepting her righteousness if she had blown into town as Mamie’s sister or some other relation. I feel like Mamie has lost the ‘class’ she once had….
But she did have all that simmering anger underneath in the Abbott house, under the thumb of the lady of the house, Brenda Dickson. Of course she, Jill, would try anyone’s patience. Corporate Mamie has hair-do identity problems. Who is she really? Methusala, snake charmer? Well, now I may have gone too far undermining the good will I established with my dragon comment. Mamie is handled with kid gloves today while in having been called out frankly by the family they feel compelled to throw in, “We love you, Aunt Mamie. We really do. That will never change”, but exactly how… Read more »
First, Lily and Devon have no love for their Aunt Mamie. Lily merely addressing her as Mamie, showed me the lack of respect she has for her. As a Southerner, that is never an acceptable way to address our elders. I am no longer rooting for Lily against Daniel and Heather. So, therefore when she loses Jill will fire her A$$, and put Billy in charge. Then she will see that her AUNT Mamie was correct about putting FAMILY first. I agree with Aunt Mamie about those entitled ungrateful children. I don’t necessarily agree with the way she is going… Read more »
My memories may be too warm and fuzzy that put her on a more dignified pedestal than she actually had been. I don’t remember the snarkiness, but maybe it was always there. Such attitude makes for great soap, lol!… but is not exactly a very pleasant trait in anyone…
Again. my YnR memories are faded… I don’t remember Mamie as being an ‘obedient servant,’ but rather an ’employed-by-choice housekeeper.’ Irdk if ‘housekeeper’ was the exact title, but my overall take-away is that Mamie had fulfilled her duties well – w/dignity and a good heart. I know there was friction between Mamie and Jill, (esp. when Jill was married to John, lol), but I’ve forgotten the long-past details. And while I do remember her dislike/disapproval of Jill, I don’t remember Mamie being laced w/the bitterness she seems to have carried well into today. Dismissing dismissive behavior is always an option.

Loved Ashley’s transformation while speaking to Alan on the phone in Jack’s living room! She was urging him to leave town at first; but when Southern Ashley came out, she was asking him to stay! Then when she threw her phone onto the sofa, seductively rubbed her beautiful purple dress, and yelled out that it felt so good to be free; I really couldn’t stop laughing!! Speaking about her other personalities; she said they were going to all be so grateful! (And after her tussling her hair; I couldn’t help but notice her glancing at herself in the fireplace mirror)!… Read more »

Gotta love Tucker!! He is offering Audra the world. Or at least Paris or any other location she wants to go to with him. As he continues to pursue her; she plays hard to get! I still like the back and forth between them; but want to see some movement forward. Let’s have a trip to Paris! Let’s get going! Yes, you’ve captured the problems with her character. When she came to town she’s was a total mismatch to Noah. The little hint at a miscarriage while with Noah. The strange nature of her relationship with Tucker. Still, I enjoy Audra even though we don’t know her under the surface.
I don’t know but don’t bore the audience by marrying Tucker and setteling into domestica. No one should ever take the plunge with a Tucker or a Billy. Trouble follows them. What is bliss in the beginning turns to chaos tomorrow,

I am really amazed and glad that Aunt Mamie’s family were standing up to her proposals. They have been afraid of her power; and also afraid to give their opinions to her if they differ from hers! I appreciate that they finally also gave some credibility to the roles and value that Jill and Billy bring to the company.

Psychopaths have no true feelings. They know how to mimic and display them when needed. But nothing is real for them. To me that is Claire.

Soap opera magic! It’s all a bit campy. (A ‘bit’?, lol!)
I was definitely looking for a bathroom in there the other day! LOL
Very small of me, but everytime Summer starts that whinning mantra about “my son”, I’m yelling back at the TV, HE’S NOT YOUR SON.
I think the same thing when Summer says that as well. At the same time, Harrison seems to have become her son as Tara has apparently either abandoned her son or has been put away for life for a small petty crime. I like the part in this post where you theorize Tara may have, ” been put away for life for a small petty crime”.
Sucks. Too bad So sad. Poor thing. Gee… I wonder how Tara could have avoided such punishment… hmmmm.

I don’t feel she has lost any class. She was subservient to those in the past. But now, she has returned with brass and sass. To kick some a$$. Bravo.
