Sharon is driving me nuts with her berating of Lucy and her parents. 1 your child a few years ago was in an accident involving alcohol, hence why she stopped drinking. 2. Faith already let Lucy manipulate her the first time she drank. Why didn’t she call Lucy’s parents and let them know their punished daughter snuck out and was drinking ? She could have told her concerns to Daniel and Heather for even Sharon ; Instead she defied Lucy and Daniel too and took Lucy home without calling her parents in her own car and took her eyes off… Read more »
SO Many Feelings this week! 1. Courtney Hope was AMAZING in her scenes, and I’m really rooting for Adam and Sally. Not immediate, but eventually. 2. Sharon is SCARING me! Great storyline, except for the fact that her family is clueless. Anyone think to check her medication supply?! 3. WHOA on Lily! I did not expect that, and don’t like it. I’m Team Billy all the way. Wouldn’t it be a delicious twist if Adam actually helps Billy (out of guilt and loyalty to Jack and most of all, to prove to Sally that he can be a good man.)… Read more »
Adam and Sally both did fabulous job, Adam did the worst thing possible lying right to Sally’s face. They are done. At least for now, maybe for good. Agree with you about Sharon. She is spiraling out of control, and she is going to try to get revenge on Daniel and Lucy. Maybe she will burn the house down like she did the ranch all those years ago. Lily is going to team up with Victor and Nikki. I don’t like what Billy is doing with the company, but why isn’t Jill getting more involved Nikki is getting a bit… Read more »
Courtney Hope… YOWZA. As talented as her co-stars are, this powerhouse actress nonetheless eclipsed them all this week w/her gut-wrenchingly blind-sided, deeply wounded Sally… wow, FINALLY this character exploded out of the blah Adam-coma she’s been mired in for seemingly ever. YnR, PUHLEEZ give this actress a long overdue re-set to showcase some confidence and fire moving forward… a new ‘Sally-centric’ story, please – let her loose to ‘run’ the GC world! Enough downer Adam stuff for her – it’s gone on long enough… blech!
Ew! Seeing Sharon’s BP mania induced apparition of Cameron, tenderly touching her cheek, gave me the creeps!! I so totally hope we don’t have to endure a romantic hallucination involving these two before this mess is over.
Wat an interesting development….Summer and Claire sitting together in the park and now….they are on friendly terms There is no more animosity and total acceptance by Summer for Claire to be or continue to be in Harrison’s life as his nanny. I wonder what will happen when Summer finds out that Claire not only “love” caring for Harrison but has hidden feels for Kyle. Claire not leaving her job as nanny may be two-fold….the nearness of being with not only the son but the father as well. Nevertheless it was refreshing to see them talking and possibly bonding as friends.
I really like the Cameraman n/Sharon storyline. Sharon Case does a good justice b acting very odd and I love the murderous look she gets in her eye. I assume she will go psycho on Daniel soon.
Sharon looks unhinged. Those murderous looks are great. Whenever Sharon squints, I expect laser rays to come out of her eyes. I think another chatter predicted a road rage incident. It looks like Sharon is going to go after Daniel and Lucy. Instead of helping Sharon determine what is blocking her, Cameron is full-on egging her to be a murderer. Great soapy drama.
I find it interesting what when Ashley was dealing with her multiple personalities and the actual Ashley broke free, she felt comfortable reaching out to her family, Traci and Jack saying she needs help and these blackouts that are happening to her. With Sharon, she still feels the need to hide what she is dealing with to her family and lying about seeing Cameron. I just wish Sharon felt she can be honest with Nick about how she is feeling and makes me realize Sharon doesn’t have any other family such as siblings or other adult relatives to have as… Read more »
I don’t remember… is Sharon’s mother, Doris, dead?
No. For some reason her mother is never mentioned and Sharon never visits her. I checked on wikipedia and she left town in 2012. It has been 12 years since Sharon saw her mother last! The show has really dropped the ball on this.
Thanks, Dianna! It”s CRAZY then that Sharon no longer has had that relationship in her life… I agree: the show has definitely dropped that ball.
So there has been speculation that Chelsea may end up being pregnant w/Adam’s baby… maybe Sally could be as well… how soapy would that be, lol!? Of course, in a happier soap world, only Sally would be pregnant, thus blissfully smoothing out the Sally/Adam relationship and leaving Chelsea/Billy to work theirs out as well. And that scenario would be… BORING.
I would even love to see Adam and Audra hook up!
Oh yeah – for sure, me too! Hey, Audra could get pregnant w/his baby, too, lol!! (Although an Adam/Audra hook-up would put a screeching halt to the Sally/Audra friendship- which some viewers might object to.) BUT, most importantly, Nate needs to get back to his true love, Ali!
Once upon a time I may have said Adam was ‘too good’ for Audra, but Idk – these days he’s irritating me. I’m officially lowering Adam back to ‘of questionable character’ on my status chart, so I now annoint him ‘Audra-worthy.’ (And I reserve the right to waffle on mvho…)
This Alan(if he truly is Alan not Martin)is starting to creep me out!! More and more I am wondering if there wasn’t a switcheroo in the fall. I hope not for Traci’s sake….if it’s all a “lie” or “fake” love fest for her, it may be possible that the devastation it will cause may have another Abbott sister in treatment, one along side of Ashley.
Yes! For Traci’s sake I want to see his credentials. I want to see diplomas on an office wall. Traci should ask to accompany him on next speaking tour. I think Traci is slightly puzzled by some of Alan’s comments and reactions. If he’s a fraud I want Traci to discover it through her instincts and common sense. I don’t want her caught by surprise. I know it’s a soap but please spare Traci a heartbreak for creating drama. Writer – break someone else’s heart.
I have mentioned this in the past, but I feel like the timing is perfect to express my thoughts on this idea. I would really love to see Billy get together with Sharon. Nick and Sharon have broken up and got back together numerous times already. I feel like their time together can wait. It is time for a fun unexpected change! Sharon and Billy have slept together in the past, but I believe it was only a one night stand. I feel like they would have a lot of chemistry and could be a dynamic couple on the show.… Read more »
If viewers recall, after Sally cheated on Nick with Adam it was basically brushed under the rug as a nothing. Sally used the excuse that she had to sleep with Adam one last time to see if there were any feelings left there. O.k? I think you can tell if there are feelings there just by making out with the person. You don’t need to go all the way to find that out. When you kiss the person, do you feel a spark? That was such bologny on Sally’s part and a great excuse for her to have one last… Read more »
I agree! The characters proclaim a deep and everlasting love but a little booze and the blues. . . causes said characters to forget the partners left back home. That signals the booze led to guards let down and whoopsie, we accidentally slept together-it means nothing. I call BS.
Oh Dianna…so well said and most of all, I couldn’t have said it better. Thank you for bringing this memory back on that moment between another triangle, Nick/Adam/Sally. She is not without fault or shame in doing almost the same thing in the past and yet she attacks Adam as flawed and not “honest/true” to their relationship. No I cannot excuse Adam for lying repeatedly but his effort to try to “save” their bond is probably all he knows considering he is constantly having to be duplicitous in his family dealing especially with the father he lives around…..all his actions… Read more »
They’ve each been liars and cheaters at some time (or times, lol!) in the past… the narratives just change as time goes!
In response to your question Ali regarding tattoos is no I do not have any. I wanted to follow up regarding Jason Thompson being Canadian. I found out this fact when he first came on the show. Several of the actors were mentioning Canada often in the script. I believe Gina Tognoni who was playing Phyllis at the time said she had to go to the Jabot office in Toronto Canada for work. I remember this as Llly responded by saying “Canada, I love Canada!”. Another episode shortly thereafter had Victoria travelling to Toronto for Newman Enterprises. I suppose living in the US Upper Midwest along w/my love and affinity for the spectacular ‘Great White North has me ‘blurring the border,’ lol. But, didn’t know Jason T. is Canadian – woot, woot! That’s some bragging right, for sure!

Yes Courtney Hope! She absolutely killed it! And gave me the reaction I wanted to see when it came to finding out about Adam’s cheating! I do love the contrast to how Chelsea and Billy are reacting to the truth coming out. But you need one reaction to be screaming anger and hurt!!
Sally cheated on Nick with Adam. Adam cheats on Sally with Chelsea so infidelity seems to be in the nature of these two. That said, I still want Chelsea to leave and NEVER look back.
And if I remember correctly, Billy cheated on Jack with Phyllis(played by Gina Tognoni).
I mis-typed I should have said SALLY leave and not look back. Chelsea probably should tell Billy it’s okay to leave her. That will clear the way for Adam and Chelsea to reunite and provide Conner some stability.
You’re absolutely right Naomi. Good reminder of this betrayal! I feel like the show wants us to forget this juicy tidbit of history so that we may feel more sympathetic to Sally. It seems Y&R is using the fact that Adam lied point blank to Sally when he was asked the question. That seems to be the bigger betrayal than the actual act of Adam cheating on her. Sally feels like she can’t trust Adam to be truthful to her and also how he can lie so convincingly. She said she feels like Adam is playing her for a fool.… Read more »
Adam has a longer and more complex history w/Chelsea than he has w/anyone else. (Unless was he w/Sharon before Chelsea? Lol, can’t remember.) I feel like the Adam/Chelsea bond is similar to the Nick/Sharon bond… the ‘1st’ and always possible to reignite.
