Jordan got a little tipsy and now she and Ian are kissing on the bed! Will we see them in bed with glistening foreheads on Monday?

It looks like Ian and Aunt Jordan are now intimate as I was mentioning this last week. I think we knew that this was going to be the next step in their relationship, otherwise it would be as waste of sharing a single bed.

There is a new hole to add to Sharon’s storyline of Heather’s murder. Sharon goes under hypnosis and remembers some things about the car accident and also what happened at Heather’s apartment that fateful night. What doesn’t make any sense is that Sharon’s memory of these events are supposed to be credible in any way. The whole premise of Sharon’s defense is supposed to be based on the fact that Sharon was not in her right mind when these incidents took place. Her medication was tainted with traces of pcp on it. This drug makes you hallucinate which is apparently… Read more »

I think Sharon really did feel a hand on her shoulder at Heathers and it was probably Jordan, but it is unrealistic that Sharon and Jordan could have pulled any of this off. Sharon didn’t kill Heather, I never thought she did when it was revealed that Sharon blacked out. But she did think she did and disposed of the body. and framed Daniel. Sharon will get off easy but how are they going to connect Jordan with this if Sharon didn’t see who killed Heather. And why would Jordan want to kill Heather anyway just to blame it on… Read more »

When Ian Ward leaned forward; was he reaching for the table to steady himself during his passionate kiss with “Aunt Jordan”?!

December 19….it’s a very difficult day for me and the scene with Daniel and Lucy was so touching yet hard to watch. It was a moment of coming to acceptance and “closing” the door on their physical lost but not the spiritual one. I, too lived that moment with them for on this date my mother unexpectedly died from an abdominal aorta aneurysm; never thinking that it will or is the last day. Daniel allowed Lucy as well as the visit of Phyllis to know that all of Heather/her mom is not “gone” from their lives as long as she… Read more »

Glad Phyllis admitted to Daniel that Billy was seeking her help to destroy Victor. A positive idea put forward during their conversation was that Daniel and Phyllis could definitely work together again; because they are both talented and smart and are able to work together to enhance each other’s performance, not argue like Kyle and Diane! And Phyllis’ comment about The Grand Phoenix: how much she loved it and misses the success she felt while working there gave me hope about the hotel coming back into her storyline! Those storylines at the hotel were all great!!

Well Since Y&R wanted to get rid of the set. They had Phyllis, sell it to Lily. It was same with the GCAC, Devon bought it and then we never saw it again. But when Devon announced that he had sold it. Lo and Behold. Poof. The GCAC is back. On Full Display.

Sharon W, this is a great idea! I do not need to see Phyllis working with Daniel making funky hippy pottery or designing new age jewelry. The Grand Phoenix (I had to stop to think what this was for a second – is it a restaurant? HA!) was a fantastic vehicle for Phyllis to show herself off in. Potencial for a lot of fun returning, but there just isn’t enough GC clientele to manage two hotels as we are not getting rid of The Authletic Club under any circumstances. Running that hotel (a dismal failure as it tanked within a… Read more »

How grand is The Grand Phoenix, really? It looked like it was put together with plywood compare to The Authletic Club. A hotel for dainty girls.

The hotel did give us stories from the lobby as well as the suites. I remember how they switched artwork and other details to make one set into multiple rooms.

Two stories from the lobby that I remember happening but can’t remember all the details: help if you can please. One was I believe Phyllis throwing a drink in (Abby’s) face at the bar?? And another was a “Sting” when I believe Chance came through ceiling of hotel lobby to save someone. I have so many missing details, but I remember watching it. (At least I remember half of it). LOL

Finally! Great job today when we got to see some flashbacks from the fight between Sharon and Heather. Sharon portrayed her fear perfectly while under hypnosis. And a perfect job showing the pieced together build up of flashback scenes! The flashbacks made the storyline as intense and frightening as it was when we all saw the scenes for the first time! Hoping Friday’s show will reveal more to us about what happened and leave us with an amazing cliffhanger for Ali to share with us on Sunday!

Christmas at the Abbotts did not disappoint. That extraordinary gingerbread house, the live poinsettia flowers, the cut flower arrangements, lights, etc. was all just fabulous. Jack’s childhood ornament and flashbacks with Dina touched the heart. I loved the decorations, but I was disappointed that we didn’t see Harrison help decorate the tree, but I couldn’t tell if the tree topper was there, maybe he gets that job this year. Still, a gorgeous Christmas set that feels familiar and homey.

I agree. The Abbott house looks beautifully appointed. I especially loved the gingerbread houses and candy cane trees in the dining room. The addition of the dining room set really completes the feel of a home. I loved being able to look into the kitchen and see a Santa.

It’s not Christmas in Genoa City if we do not have a scene of ornaments being hung on the Christmas tree in the Abbott mansion. Always decorated so beautifully and feels so cozy!

Where is Claire living? The Ranch or the Tack House? After dinner with Kyle, she went to the Ranch. Victoria came to the Ranch to check on her first day. However, when the Fenmore shopping spree occurred, they had set up a room for her to use. I’m confused…or is this just the soap world where you go from Society to the Coffee House to the Athletic Club and the audience plays along. Also, did Adam decide to move to the old ranch house or stay at the apartment?

I think Claire said she came from home, the Tack House, when she saw Victoria’s note that she was going to see her mom at the Ranch.

A holiday resolution for keeps for now with mom is eminent! Kyle’s idea this Diane not clearing out of Jabot prompto being indicative of darker feelings is silly. Moving is a nightmare. That’s all.

Esther is a better “arm chair” psychologist than Sharon. The advice she gave Diane was insightful. Esther also has a nonjudgmental approach towards others.

But Victoria, yes Esther is good with people if they allow her to be – she tells us she is smarter and more insightful than others think, but as for being ‘nonjudgemental’, usually, but if she doesn’t approve of someone she might go after them with a metamorphical broom. Esther is not above getting on her high horse – who did she rcently let have it? – so when Diane appeared and Valentine first saw her face making a disparaging remark I couldn’t remember, but believed Diane was on her unforgiving hit list. Not so(!), and a wonderful heart to… Read more »

Diane, however disparaging the gossiping townies who are always going to be gossiping townies you are on a roll. You came back to town, did your walk off shame, married your true love, the town prince and got your baby boy back in the process, not to mention CEO of the top comsmetics company. A little rain has fallen in the processw but all water over the damn as you prepare for the joyous Christmas day.

Can we have Victoria inquire about her other children occasionally please? Reed has totally vanished and is never mentioned. Katie and Johnny are at the age where they might need a mom yet a grown*** woman has her undivided attention. Victoria dropped by Nikki’s to worriedly ask about Claire’s first day. Could it be the writers will kill off this character via Ian and AJ? Why else create this perfectly perfect Claire Grace (nod to Gary)?

I never understood, from the beginning of this character being found to be Victoria and Cole’s presumed dead “Eve.” Why did not call her Eve? Why did they fall in to calling her what evil Aunt Jordan named her?

Another example of stories defying logic. Oh well, maybe the writers needed this angelic Newman character to redeem the family name? I just don’t get why we are seeing so much of her in filler scenes.

Claire is so vital in adding to and filling out the Newman family tree. She will be their moral conscience. Ali is doing all she can to sex Claire up but we don’t need another jaded character. There was so much talk about Claire’s successful first day at work, but predictably we never saw what she did. Nikki was seen pinning the finishing touches on corporate look #! which would be perfect for the Jr. Miss Department. I didn’t watch a lot of The Adams Family, but didn’t Claire look a little like Wednesday Adams?

Ah, but this is the way of the soap family tree. The children are in & out, not mentioned for years until there is now a storyline reason to do so. With Victoria, we must be patient with her imagining the untold guilt she carries in regard to Claire. Nobody’s fault but Aunt Jordan, but that’s but the reality, not the emotional context. Y&R could have sent Johnny & Katie back to boarding school but instead kept them only to once again never be seen. And that Johnny is an incredible scene stealer adding extra sparkle to the show. Well,… Read more »
