I can’t remember the last time I fast forwarded through scenes but it’s actually happening now with Nate and Audra!! I feel terrible for the actress who plays Audra. Her character has become so unbelievably boring. While she has never been my favourite character, I did always appreciated her. Now, I can’t even get through a scene. Maybe it’s because she’s sitting next to the second most boring character on the show, Nate. Sorry Ali! Lol!
Audra was always more interesting involved with corporate intrigue, not following Nate around. Nate was more interesting as a doctor.in my opinion

Much like the brief encounter that Claire had with Jordan at Society’s entrance; it was so enjoyable to have the scenes between Claire and Esther and Claire and Jordan at the Coffee Shop! Friendly conversation with Esther when Claire told her that she and Nikki appreciate the work Esther does for them; but understand her need to help out at the Coffee Shop. And Esther being supportive and giving praise to Claire for all that she has been through and still maintaining her sweet and happy personality! Also loved the conversation between Esther and Jordan; when Jordan carefully pressed Esther… Read more »

I hope Y&R gives us the flashback of Phyllis meeting Ian in the woods. That would be interesting to see. I think the reason they have not shown us that episode is because they may not be able to locate that clip. I hope they do air it. That would be fun to watch.
I don’t even remember that. Would be fun if Phyllis saved Sharon instead of Nick

I am surprised that Nick did not ask Chance to go to Ian Ward’s motel room. If Nick is suspicious of Ian, then Chance should be going to pay him a visit with Nick. Chance can go and check things out. Nick is takin a risk going there alone. Nick also has the option of bringing one of Victor’s men to go with him. Victor apparently has an entire team of security guards. Nick should be smarter and bring one of them with him for safety and intimidation.

I agree with Ali, that Nate’s half brother does not look older than him, he looks younger. I am wondering if Y&R is planning on changing their original idea that Nate has an older brother and making him a younger half-brother. I also wondered if anyone has ever noticed that Nate is not able to pronounce certain words. I noticed a long time ago and have not bothered to mention it. I noticed when Nate was talking to his brother, Nate was not able to say the word ‘position”. He pronounces the ‘tion” sound as ‘son” It seems to be… Read more »
I cannot believe that Phyllis has now decided that because she now remembers that the face of the driver that ran her off the road was not Sharon, it then likely means that Sharon had nothing to do with Heather’s murder. This is so ridiculous. What does one have to do with the other? This doesn’t change the fact that Sharon broke into Heather’s apartment, got into an altercation with her and physically pushed Heather. This shows that Sharon was dangerous at the time she saw Heather and had bad intentions. I don’t like that Phyllis is now ready to… Read more »
I think it’s good Phyllis isn’t so rigid anymore about Sharon. I think Phyllis should save herself and Sharon from Ian and Jordan. That would be fun.

I really hope Connor’s OCD is not the driving force for Adam and Cheese to get back together. If Adam and Chelsea spark up a romance then sure I will go along with it for now, but please don’t use Connor as a reason as to why that happens.
TOO LATE. It was always because of Connor. I still believe he faked the whole thing. I said it from the start. Let’s not forget he has faked a medical condition before, to get his parents back together.
I don’t think Chelsea is in love with Adam and it was just because of Conner they got together. I don’t think Conner is faking the OCD, but the writers are milking it for all it’s worth

How are Abby and Tessa not taking the next logical step to deduce that Ian was there “saving Tessa’s life” because he caused her to be ill by drugging her? He was milling around inside before she felt bad. Especially since everyone knows Sharon was drugged and they are questioning if Ian had something to do with it, so it’s not even a new idea. While Nate and Audra and a single berry for brunch yesterday, Kyle and Jack made monster sandwiches for their lunch today! They won’t need much for dinner later. And, yes, Niki looks notably thinner at… Read more »
When Mariah told Tessa to tell her what happened and not leave out any details no matter how small, how could Tessa leave out that she left her drink and then took a sip of water or whatever it was. How is Tessa not thinking did I eat or drink something?
I agree about Tessa . No one even thought for a second she was drugged. And Ian was right there to save her. Claire was on the ball when she realized what Jordan puts in her coffee was asked for at Crimson . She knows it has to be Jordan and she is going to track her down

I guess these Y&R writers must have forgotten who Tessa Porter really is. As humans we can change our behavior and be better. But our innate instincts are still there. Just like a tamed, wild animal. Tessa, apparently came to town as a Con Artist. She played Noah, Blackmailed the Newman Woman, Capable of setting up off shore accounts. One of the few people who defied Victor Newman and he didn’t seek retribution against. But now, we as the viewers, are to believe that she has become dumb and stupid. And will fall for the shenanigans of Ian Ward. As… Read more »
Your point is well taken. It has rubbed me wrong that Tessa would keep saying how lucky she was Ian Ward came to her rescue. Having her history, she should be wary, in the least. Additionally, the way Ian gushed over Aria and said some people may have a problem with their choices would normally have Tessa questioning his intentions. These two comments alone should have cracked his slick veneer and made her cautious around him.

Y&R wardrobe, please be aware that scenes with Daniel in a sweater and Danny in long sleeves does not match Abby in a strapless blouse or Tessa in a sleeveless and cut out dress. How about some ladies dressed in stylish sweaters or jackets for winter in GC?
I live in the Upper Midwest, and can attest that all people don’t always dress for the weather. I see people (albeit mostly guys) in shorts, as well as both sexes in short sleeves and warm-weather footwear (Crocs, sandals, etc.) all winter long… and women in all sorts of skin-baring attire – esp. for a night out or anytime when ‘dressed to kill.’ So although the sometimes obvious lack of winter wardrobe sparks viewers’ attention, I don’t find it that odd – especially on soaps that showcase beautiful people flaunting their beautiful bods, lol.
The opening scene showed snow and I don’t expect hats and mittens, but I think that warm clothing can still be beautiful and sexy. Nikki’s outfit was winter appropriate and still very stylish. I just want to see more winter fashions for the younger women as well as the skin baring outfits that are appropriate for the jazz club or a romantic dinner. If the opening scene were a summer beach, it would be odd to see two men in summer clothes and two women in winter sweaters.
100% agreed that winter fashions would be equally lovely as any on the gorgeous folks of GC! And yes, it would be odd to see winter sweaters on a summer beach scene!

Comments on the retro episodes. The sets are rich, and full, and dark. They never zoom in to fill the screen with an actor’s face like they did back then. Lauren and Nickie often had a full tear on their cheeks. There seemed to be more drama. And I really do like a mullet.

OOOOOkay… Dami-YUM has made a good 1st impression on me!
He’s quite handsome and looks as if he could be related to Nate. Also, he appears a natural actor and held his own in the scene. I certainly wouldn’t be mad at my tv, if he is given more airtime.
I agree, he’s handsome and very at ease in this role.

Can’t care about Sharon handcuffed to something in the sewer. Can’t care about why Nate’s brother is a Count of Monte Cristo fan. Can’t care about much of current stuff. So I’ll just enjoy Cameron keeping Sharon company and since it’s all in her mind – I want her to have a fling with him and Nick can walk in right before the big moment! Why not!
Is it a coincidence that Jordan chained Sharon in the same sewer that she killed Cameron? How could she have known? Or more likely Y&R still had that set in storage.
Sharon called those single serve bags of chips “food”. They won’t last her long. She might be able to pick that handcuff with her earring. Nick knows about the sewer from before. He might check there before she starves.
Ian’s pious act turns my stomach. He’s a good actor.
Chance is in a short sleeved polo in January in Wisconsin? He looks good in it, but isn’t he chilly?

Do you know if it was Michelle Stafford as Phyllis when she met with Ian?
I think, Gina Tognoni played the role at that time. Not 100 Percent on that. But I believe so.

I was thinking the same thing about Chance….
