Okay, I will be the first to say that I don’t like this torturous kidnapping/escape room situation. I get that it is meant to repair Sharon and Phyllis and I am just as curious about the mystery voice as everyone else and your guesses are very interesting and entertaining to ponder. I just can’t stop thinking about what the fallout is going to be for their kids. Sharon’s kids haven’t had time to regroup from kidnapping number one and Phyllis’s kids are still not over her fake death and still grieving over Heather.

I agree, was a good idea but not at this time should have waited. I read could be Michael doing this. He knows both of them from way back, they aren’t really getting hurt. Even had coffee and called their families. Maybe he is trying to show them they don’t have to hate each other and can work together to end the game.

I’m just glad it wasn’t just me that felt conflicted about this storyline. The reveal should be interesting and I hope we don’t have to wait too long.

I never thought I’d see Phyllis and Sharon cuddled up, asleep, and sharing a couch! Sharon resting her head on Phyllis’s bony shoulder! Hilarious!

Their back and forth is great!!

Their little tests haven’t been that hard or bad. At least they aren’t having to cut off a finger or something.

That was a great scene, sleeping together cuddling together on the sofa

Okay, so 2 theories on who is beind the game:

1. Lucy? She’s completely lost it and somehow connects the feud between Sharon and Phyllis to Heather’s death and now wants them to reconcile. She is Sheila’s granddaughter, after all.

2. Martin/Alan – Maybe he’s fascinated by the feud and wants to watch them work it out from a psychological standpoint. It could be that Martin was posing as Alan, or Alan has this twisted side?

Grasping here, but thought I’d throw these out for fun!

Both great theories Kamna. I could see either, and Lucy has been off the radar for a while. Possibly Daisy (Lucy’s birth mother) too.

I put together my guesses: Nick: He has the most to gain if they stop feuding. Nick has made sure he has lots of alibis as is almost always on screen when the Voice speaks so he would need an accomplice. But is he savvy enough to pull this off. “It’s Ali!”: Ali runs the database and loves riddles. Moreover, she confessed to the kidnapping in the PhotoCaptions! Would Y&R break the “third wall”? We might have an answer on Sunday’s Chat. Lucy and Faith together: They also want the feud to end. Maybe it’s an experiment based on Faith’s… Read more »

As I mentioned could be Michael. He knows both of them so well from way back. and they aren’t being hurt, just being kept away from their families.

Phyllis and Sharon are at odds but yet bonding together in this weird setup. It’s great viewing and good writing because I am enjoying Sharon so much. Finally she is more focused and clear headed.

Any All My Children fans out there enjoying a blast from the past? Dixie Martin flashback on Beyond the Gates today. Cady McCain has a role in the show and I loved her as Dixie and I am excited to see her.

Welcome back Audra! She was back to her sassy self greeting Billy and Audra. She looks at Billy with a flutter of the eyes and a little smile. He observes her with a knowing smile of acknowledgment, one player to another. I loved it!

This is probably a long shot, but while Sharon and Phyllis were sitting on the couch, I noticed the cardboard box behind them had AC written on it. Could that be Avery Clark, Phyllis ’sister? She was engaged to Nick and was on the show in 2013. I always liked her, but the storyline with her just fizzled, this would be a heck of a return!

I was thinking it stood for Air Conditioner, but your idea is far beyond mine.

It maybe wishful thinking on my part or a red herring. Every so often Y&R comes up with an episode that I enjoy so much I rewatch, I’m loving every second of it. The speaker alarm, the S&P burner phones, and best so far is Phyllis waking up to see Sharon’s face! I may go back and watch it all again now.

I had a different guess. But the AC could be an Easter Egg put in play. And Avery Clark, would be ideal.

Sharon was startled to realise just how comfortable she was sleeping in Phyllis’s arms tucking her head into Phyllis’ shoulder.

Phyllis is also warming to Sharon almost asking: “Coffee, tea or me?”

Tonight they may even take their boots off.

I’m still not sure about the possible return of a Chelsea/Adam love affair…..but oh, the “new” first date was unbelievably romantic and amorous yet guarded. For once Adam was “allowed” to not be seen as a cad/scoundrel but as an engaging date. If their relationship is to be, I hope it is slowly developed and is real. I had in the past was rooting for Adam and Sally but I am so down on this to happen again….each time there is a reason for the separation, she “falls” with the guy who it appears has a strong dislike for Adam.… Read more »

Happy days are here again!! Hooray that the writers have set a story around Sharon and Phyllis forced to be together and confront their mutual disdain for each other!! It is compelling…well timed and an awesome use of there two talented ladies to come 360 degrees from their beginning moments that sealed their lives in constant conflict as well as having many “ugly” confrontations. Sharon/Phyllis are kidnapped,,,why…regardless, they are for the first time made to rely on each other for their safety and shared desired to escape their “prison”. I love the friction turning to acceptance that their”hate” for the… Read more »

Is Ali the Voice? She must have a database with dates of every episode!

Remember when Victor and Niki had a dog named Zapatos because he got their shoes? Wonder whatever happened to him. Maybe he’s still rattling around in the back rooms of the Ranch sort of like Christian is at Nick’s apparently invisible house.

Is the robotic voice trapping Sharon & Phyllis Sue Sylvester from GLEE? They had a similar storyline where Sue trapped Kurt & Blaine in an elevator, having the same robot voice do all the work, not letting them out until they kissed. The very identical robot speaking voice! Where do fantasy and reality cross?

The Voice did promise a reward for solving the first puzzles. Silk pajamas would add comfort to their sleep.

I was thinking Sharon would push the square chair against the sofa (like an “L” shaped sofa) in order to give each of them enough room to stretch out. But to see them both take possession of the sofa and having to scrunch onto it together was so funny and realistic for two people fighting and unable to “give an inch”. The back and forth dialogue of criticism of each other, with the need to be kind enough to work together is fantastic! Like other Chatters, I’m trying to imagine who is torturing both of them. But if it is… Read more »

I don’t feel that this could be Ian Ward. If memory serves he was not in their lives during the infamous fall/push down the stairs in 2013. Or the time of the chocolate fountain fight.
It would be huge. But could Y&R be bringing Drucilla Winters, back. Remember, she fell or was pushed off a cliff by Phyllis, when she was trying to break up a fight between Phyllis and Sharon. And she knows their history. This would be incredible and quite interesting.

I love this idea! Dru would be connected to both women – if not for Sharon and Phyllis bickering Dru would have never fell off the cliff. She has a compelling reason for punishing and making a point. Dru could have been found and nursed back to health by an Amish community and who knows why she didn’t come back to GC. Details are of no concern, writers can make it happen!

Tuesday the thermostat in the room Sharon and Phyllis are in popped off the wall and hung by a cord. Today it’s gone. Why would they even have a cord on a prop thermostat? I know this isn’t important to the plot, or to anything really. Just an observation. I’m happy Sharon and Phyllis quickly figured out that super easy riddle, but Phyllis did not enter 072213 in that safe number pad. I’m all about the details today. Ian Ward would not know what song was playing at the MS event when they fought. Who would have this level of… Read more »
