I think Claire can be as vengeful as Summer trying to keep Kyle. It is obvious Summer is falling for Kyle again and is jealous of Kyle and Claire. Just like with Lola, Kyle may still pick Summer at the end. Claire will do whatever she has to do to try to keep him

I feel like Claire is going to make a move on Summer, in a vengeful way as we see Summer become more increasingly jealous of Claire and Kyle’s relationship. I am still hoping that it will have to do with Summer’s peanut allergy. It won’t actually kill Summer, but make her suffer a little after her nose and face swell up! This also helps Claire as Summer won’t be so attractive for a little while.

I don’t know where Sharon and Phyllis are gong to the bathroom to relieve themselves, when nature calls as we have not seen a bathroom in this room that they are trapped in? This was also the case when Mariah was kidnapped. All we saw was a coffee maker, some cans of food, and bottles of water. I wish Y&R would do a better job of making these storylines believable for the audience. I feel this should be said again as I have mentioned this before with some of the story lines. It is disappointing when Y&R goes through the… Read more »

The clothes I cannot address. But according to Camryn Grimes(Mariah), the bathroom is just off to the left side of the viewers vantage, when a person(s) are trapped in a room.

The soaps don’t make amenities like bathrooms noticeable to viewers. you just have to assume there is a bathroom, being in a room so long. They should have different clothes but will get by if they get out of there soon. I think they don’t want to feel too comfortable like taking their shoes off in case they see an opportunity to escape and have to be ready for it.

The previews next week give us some renewed hope for Traci and Alan. What exactly is his hesitation? Go for it, Alan! Life is short—you both deserve happiness! And with Billy having more stories with Jack and the rest of the Abbott family; it would be welcome to see Traci and Alan storylines to be woven into the Abbott family storylines in a big way. Then, let’s bring back Ashley! These are all great possibilities! (Of course, not leaving out Kyle and Claire).

Alan may be hesitating because he isn’t Alan, he is his brother Martin and Ashley is the one who can figure it out

Ali, thanks for the great clip of Kyle comforting Summer when Claire walks into the Athletic Club. I think it will be really hard for Chatters to decide which granddaughter to favor just like Victor tells Claire that he loves them both. It was refreshing months ago when Summer finally showed some acceptance of Claire while she was Harrison’s babysitter. But I think many of us have sympathy for both young women as they move forward with their own struggles, fears and desires while they both are keeping Kyle in their sights!

Holden and Damian need to be permanently kept on the show. We need new characters, especially new younger men.

You’ve outdone yourself, this is a clever idea.

Gary, You have a comment somewhere about being drawn somewhat to the gates soap. Me too. I think the characters and stories will be fast and fun. But I sure want to just watch occasionally as with GH and B&B.

The preview for next week showing Phyllis retching with a worried Sharon causes us all to wonder: something she ate? Or just a reaction to discovering the answer is “friendship!”? In her mortification, Phyllis has not even had time to enlighten Sharon as to the answer!

Obviously, what follows is Phyllis lying on the couch resting her head on Sharon’s thighs as Sharon ministers to her. Phyllis looking into Sharon’s eyes whispers: “The answer is ….. friendship! Thank you, Sharon.” Red faced they tenderly embrace well on the way to ESCAPING and being besties forever.

God i hope not ! Sharon and Phyllis are better as frenemies not besties. Maybe Phyllis is faking she’s sick or the captor planned it to see what Sharon would do

My fashionista eye was afraid while Phyllis and Sharon are locked away but, I was pleasantly surprised about the hits this week. Damian is the clear cut winner with 3/3 successes. He pulled off the burgundy velvet jacket, then a two tone with a print lapel, and knocked it out of the park with that outstanding brocade jacket. Lily was the winner for best look head to toe from her soft curls to her sexy black dress and those black thigh high boots with stiletto heels. Her burgundy dress hinted she would have matched Damian’s jacket if they went on… Read more »

I really liked Nate’s dark purple shirt. And I didn’t care for Damian’s jacket. Good to see them bonding.

Victor making faces while he promises to not interfere with Claire and Kyle’s relationship doesn’t instill much trust in his word. Claire laughed but was likely thinking she made no ground with that conversation.

I have heard enough about the Abbott house refresh. The next thing I want to hear is it’s ready and let’s see it.

Do the previews make it look like Phyllis may have Appendicitis? Or is this another of her “masterful” performances?

could be appendicitis, or faking it but that would be hard to do

I don’t think Audra batting her long eyelashes at Nate will be working anymore! He “finally” realizes that there is a lot more to the looks that Holden and Audra exchange than he wanted to believe before! Will he be kicking her out of the Penthouse soon?

Devon and Lily need to mind their own business and stop grilling Damian. He doesn’t owe anyone an explanation about his personal or professional life. Seems like Devon is borrowing trouble and assuming the worst, when a wait and see approach would be warranted.

It will be interesting to see if Claire enlists any of her lessons from Aunt Jordan to put Summer in her place. I can see her plucking a daisy saying, “ I use deceit”, pluck,” I use deception”, pluck, “ I use treachery”, pluck.

Wow. Damien was pretty nice to Amy today. Going over to her house and inviting her out to lunch. That made up for the rest of the episoder being a little dull.

The barbs Damian used on Devon left him with only kindness in his quiver. This was lucky for Amy. She was surprised and delighted Damian wanted to see her so soon. Damian also was glad to see Amy was seeking another opinion and even agreed to lunch with Nate.
On another note: Damian dresses very well. His embroidered jacket under his camel coat was dashing. Jermaine Rivers continues to impress with his nuanced acting and ability to wear clothes so well.
