I thought it was funny when Holden and Audra were reminiscing about their past and Holden was asking Audra if she remember singing “Metallica’ songs at the bar. This was quite surprising! and was a pleasant surprise. I wouldn’t have expected to learn that Audra likes heavy metal but at the same time I am not surprised as Audra seems like she has another side we don’t see or know about. Having said that, I like when the show incorporates real life people and things that we can all relate to.

I also enjoyed that scene and as much as I like Lily, I wish she wouldn’t have inserted herself and interrupted their moment. She isn’t friends with Audra so why even approach their table. Lily needs to get a life…a love life!

I am not sure if I am right or not, but has Y&R stopped acknowledging the character’s birthday? I can’t remember the last time a character had a birthday on the show. I know we used to see it. If they did stop, than I wonder why? I would also assume that the show uses their real-life birthdays.

I believe Nick’s Birthday was acknowledged in January of this year. And Y&R rarely uses the actors real birthdays. Camryn Grimes(Cassie/Mariah) is the closest. The actress birthday is January 7th, 1990 and the characters birth date is January 8th, 1991.

Thank you for clarifying. I don’t remember Nick’s birthday in January? Did he do anything special?

Traci’s choice of words were ironic when she was telling Jack that Alan is exactly who he says he is! I feel like the outcome in this story line is going to be that Martin kidnapped his brother and that this is Martin. If that is the case, I think this was a clever idea to have Traci be in an exciting and dramatic storyline about her new found love without actually jeopardizing her relationship with her true guy and making then the relationship ending right away. Y&R knows that the fans would not really want to see Traci get… Read more »

I’m hoping Alan is still alive and was recently kidnapped by Martin. Traci deserves happiness as good as she is to others. I still don’t see how Martin faked his death after falling from the balcony. They were wearing different clothes and he didn’t have enough time to change.

In soap land, they usually come up with some explanation. We will see what happens!

I’m also hoping Alan is alive but I doubt it, one of the twins died and I think it was Alan that died. Martin always wanted what Alan had. Taking over Alan’s life again and getting Tracy is exactly what he wants. Maybe Martin is really in love with Tracy. I hate to see Tracy lose at love again but it may be inevitable

I suspect that “Alan” is really Ian Ward in disguise. Y&R has done this before, most memorably with Jack. It isn’t my favourite kind of plot twist…too silly! I hope I’m wrong.

Given the Show’s recent history, it may be time to coin a new word: YAK – meaning “Yet Another Kidnapping”. As in:

“I sure hope that Traci doesn’t get YAKed next week”, or “Is the real Alan in a Paris YAK?”. Or as Sharon swings a brick laden purse at her assailant in Europe she could say: “Don’t you dare YAK me!”

I think Sharon heading to see Noah, will coincide with a Martin interaction & possible YAK’ing.

Inquiring minds need chatter help about Traci’s former marriages. Also, who was Colleen’s father? Those are some old flashbacks that I would like to see.

She was married to Danny R. Brad Carlton, and Steve somebody. Idr all the details, but the 1st 2 guys were never really in love wher. I think Steve was a love match… they moved away from GC and eventually got divorced (fuzzy on these details as well – they maybe just ‘grew apart’?) Brad was Colleen’s father.

The girl that played Colleen was amazing and beautiful. It was really sad when she died. I couldn’t believe it.

March madness basketball caught me off guard and I was disappointed with only 3 episodes this week but, they did give us a lot to ponder.

Twice this week—on Friday and Saturday morning—I felt a twinge of alarm: “I’ve got to catch up on my soaps!” Only to open the Paramount+ app and be reminded, “Oh yeah… the annual tournament preemption.” Sad. I like basketball. I just wish the first two days weren’t on CBS.

I knew the soaps were preempted, but missed not seeing them, can’t wait for Monday. I hope they won’t be preempted again this week.

I was SO surprised to have Traci announce that she didn’t know if Alan was really Alan in the coming attractions for next week. Maybe her words are not what they seem but they certainly seemed to be. Whatever happened to the classic suspence of a lomg term engagement where the heroine is taken on a perilous 8 month clueless wild ride leading up to the altar? Already Jack is on guard with a hurry up wedding to take place in Paris. Traci says its not an elopement and her family will be present but you have to wonder? Even… Read more »

I am thinking of sending a thank you note to the writers if Traci is not kidnapped and terrorized by her creepy fiancée, whoever he may actually be.

It seems that the audience has forgotten that Alan does know Sharon. He hypnotized her, to jar her memory, surrounding Heather’s Killing. Also, Traci is too much of a level headed woman to allow being in love to cloud her better judgment. When she sees the truth, she acknowledges it. Unlike most women who prefer to be damsels in danger.

Yes, I forgot Alan was the one who hypnotized Sharon but was probably Martin. Probably wouldn’t be hard to find out the interactions Phyllis and Sharon had over the years, was public knowledge, because Alan knew Sharon, but Martin didn’t, and I don’t think Alan knew her beyond the hypnosis session

I don’t know if Tracy has figured out that Alan is Martin, but she suspects something isn’t right. It’s Chance who will see Alan was on the store’s video and figure out it was Alan who kidnapped Sharon and Phyllis. Although if Alan/Martin didn’t do that He would not have been found out and Tracy would still be hurt when she found out what he did

Love seeing the previews showing Victor and Michael working together again! Victor probably has another task for Michael to cover up Victor’s knowledge of who Dumasse (spelling?) is and how deep their relationship was.

The very tender conversation between Nick and Sharon today was promising! At least Sharon is finally saying out loud that she has thought about being with Nick again. And Nick went out on a limb and told her he has thought about it too! He seems as if he may “change his mind” and accompany Sharon on her visit to their kids. The only fly in that ointment may be the amount of help and caretaking Phyllis may need from Nick!

I will forever tout the Nick/Sharon end-game… and for it to be forever… ‘full circle,’ first love, and all of that, etc. But did Nick just lay out to Sharon that they are irrevocably DONE as ‘a couple’? (Ok, Nick always blusters much he doesn’t stick to, just bring on some sex, Sharon – he’ll cave!)

Yaaassss…! I hope so. When the sad day comes that YnR airs its final episode, I want Nick and Sharon together, holding hands, and sitting side-by-side in rocking chairs on the Newman Ranch porch (there must be one there, lol). Not sure who the rest of the bunch’ll be w/at that point, but Nikki and Victor ARE cemented as ‘forever’ to me…

Per next week’s previews, “Martin” is heading to Paris to get ready to meet Traci when she arrives. He will obviously have her transported to his very own clinic where he has been holding Alan and Ashley captive all this time. Ashley did visit with family recently; however, she has been both drugged and hypnotized! This ensures that she doesn’t actually realize what “Martin: has been doing to her!

Gotta hope Alan is still alive and has been replaced by Martin – rather than Traci’s Alan being bonkers… or else it will be cuckoo-puffs that Traci has been snookered all along by a nut-job. Viewers would rally ’round a wronged Traci, of course, but I’d rather her heart and self-esteem be spared rather than me be subjected to her shocked, grief-stricken histrionics, lol.

Me too. Also, Alan has acted a bit “off” in recent days, like for instance his snapping at Traci over his phone alerts. The old Alan—who I believe is the real one—would have been smoother than that. If it has been Martin all along, why the slight change in personality?

I also thought Alan was Martin from the beginning, but I hope it isn’t Alan being the crazy one, that would be worse. Either way Tracy loses again at love
