Phyllis and Diane are similar characters yet different. Diane’s comments and tears mid-week have finally resonated with me. She is always on the fringe of the family watching and longing to be accepted by the siblings. That is a burden for her to constantly strive to ‘not be that person anymore’. She’s an outsider in the place she calls home. Phyllis also is on the fringe of GC society. She is backsliding into the person she was before. Phyllis is book smart but people dumb. Diane is savvy about everything.

What a great observation that.Phyllis, “book smart, but people dumb”, while Diane is savvyabout everything”. Diane always has her eye out to what is going on.

I was sympathetic to Chloe feeling totally hurt that she was the last to know Chelsea quit her job. And since Chelsea never sat in an office or produced any fashions, she could quit her job without notice.

Well, Chloe has been in this position before so she ought to be used to being let down by her ‘best friend’ by now. Its an old story, Chloe Mitchell. Take solace in your idyllic marriage to Kevin Fisher. (sarcasm)

I agree, Chelsea should have told Chloe about leaving Marchetti. Wasn’t fair to her

I am very unhappy with y and R right now. It is obvious that there are very few women writing the show or having any say in the writing. Why would Sally or Chelsea leave the careers they love to do? They are established, admired and respected in their field. Designing is their passion. I assume they are making good money as well. In what world are they dropping everything to go work as a lackey for their husbands? . It’s so ridiculous. Not to mention , don’t they see their partners enough ? If I had to work with… Read more »

I agree, the women are being written as pleasers. Why change careers to work under the supervision of the men they live with?!?!

totally agree, too much victimizing of women and being subservient to the men in their lives. Both Chelsea and Sally should stay at Marchetti and run it for Summer

Victors logic that Claire needs to end her relationship with Kyle because he will only break her heart makes no sense. Even if they ended their relationship right now to appease Victor then I am sure Claire will still have a broken heart for her relationship with Kyle would still be over. Claire will be hurt and sad regardless if her relationship with Kyle ended on its own doing or because Victor said so.

Victor going to Jabot was overkill. The Abbott’s know how he feels. This was personal and should not have taken place at work. But then again, it’s Victor.

Jack should have called security immediately. Victor seemed slightly unhinged. When Jack and Victor face each other I am always waiting for chairs to crash through windows.

Does Victor have the pass key to get into the C-Suite for Jabot? Jack might want to start by having his security credentials revoked.

I don’t like what Victor is doing to Kyle and Claire. The Abbotts in general, especially Billy and Jack. It’s time he has a truce with the Abotts and moves on with his life. Claire won’t give up Kyle, she is in love with hm. Victor is going to break her heart with this plan for Audra to seduce Kyle or at least look like he was seduced. It’s time to end the feud between the Newmans, and Abbotts

It looks like from the previews that Mariah may confess to Tessa. If it is a one-night stand, it makes sense Tessa would forgive her. The amount of stress and terror Mariah has endured because of Ian’s actions and Sharon’s kidnapping are self-evident. However, if Mariah gave away their entire savings to Ian’s cult, The New World Commune, then Tessa better think long and hard.

My fashionista eye was dazzled this week only by the park and a set fit for Mother Nature. Those roses were perfect and the other hanging flowers popped with color. The set was gorgeous! Spring has sprung in Chancellor Park and I welcome the outdoor space for activities as well as the beautiful floral arrangements that are a constant in our Y&R world.

Well Y & R, just keep us in suspense. What do Cole’s test indicate? Is there a diagnosis? Please don’t let his “death rattle” be fatal.

They are moving slowly, haven’t even seen Cole since he went to the doctor. He is in his room not even the hospital. Where are they going with this?

I’m glad to see Eric/Victor healing up and being seen around town. Our dark knight is back and he is bringing out the dastardly deeds on many personal and business fronts. They need to hurry up and reveal Aristotle to distract him or give him a new storyline project. Don’t make him a boring bully.

Somebody needs to kill Victor!!!
At some point people get sick and tired of you trying to control their lives. My money is on Claire.

The portrait of Victoria that hung in The Office at N.E. Is now a 5×7 on the end table at Newman Ranch. It’s the one she has on a floral dress and softly styled hair. Wasn’t that the one her rich older boyfriend gave to her?is so, you would think Victoria would not want reminders of it.

Yes, that portrait was given to her by Ashland Locke. The husband that Nick killed for her. Yet she accused him of being a hero for Sharon and Phyllis.

Fan trivia…I saw a memory post about Jeanne Cooper passing away on May 8, 2013 at the age of 84. She played Katherine Chancellor for 40 years.(1973-2013) I will always remember her final scene on the stairs and her last words, “Thank you though, Good Night.” and I wanted to take a moment to honor her. May her memory be a blessing to all that loved her.

Well, the wardrobe crew did a fantastic job dressing Nate and Adam in Thursday’s episode. Nate had on a periwinkle blazer with a slate gray sweater. He looks extra fine. Wardrobe took a diversion with Adam dressing him in brown tones. They paired his sable sport coat with a camel collared sweater. He looked very put together and ready to meet his clients. Wardrobe’s miss this week was Damian’s shimmery peach polo. It was very distracting. However, I’ll give them a pass because Damian’s wardrobe fits his character well and lends a visual clue to his edge.

Great observation and I agree that the wardrobe department has stepped it up with the men’s fashions since Damian’s arrival.

So MUCH talk, always, about companies that don’t exist and are only spoken of in the coffee houses & fine restaurants of the town. Please put SOMEONE on the essembly line.

Yes!! Put Audra on the assembly line at her new company. She has no funding and has only hired top executives so she will have to work the assembly line to fill orders.

In vintage years there was Ashley in the chemistry lab of Jabot pouring mixtures into tubes producing pretty smoke

Lots of interesting things happened in the lab. Miracle creams that got tainted and perfumes with a Love Potion No. 9 effect.

I’m still wondering if Victor is Aristotle Dumas, even though he has discussed theories about his identity with others. That might be a distraction tactic. I could be wrong, just a suspicion. I’m sure Y&R will try for a shocking reveal, and it being Victor would be that. Every time someone mentions Aristotle Dumas in that exaggerated way to add some mystery to it and there’s been no reveal, I hear Ali screaming from her house far far away. If Newman media “floods the platform” with information that Chancellor is thriving under Niki Newman’s leadership as opposed to it’s floundering… Read more »
