Maybe Phyllis is trying to get the best of Cane. She seemed to be willing to work for him; but at the same time she may be trying to trap him in his own scheme. It’s true when she asked Sharon to tell her who actually has her back since everyone always comments that Phyllis has always been a troublemaker. (I was waiting for Sharon to offer her a job at her company; but I assume Mariah is still working for her mom).
Loved scenes with Sharon and Phyllis on Wednesday when they both agreed they aren’t enemies anymore. And Phyllis told Sharon that Nick has always been the cause of the problems between them. When Phyllis pointed this out to her, Sharon turned and looked at Nick seeming to finally understand what Phyllis meant!
Ali, I hadn’t erased Cole’s death by mistake so I watched it again where I could process all the dialogue. It was very sad with beautifully written words. I noticed at the end the beginning beats to Nadia’s Theme played but it died out and they did not go there. Cole, a core character wheather he got a lot of airtime or not. All 3 actors were fantastic as we would expect. Amelia really knows how to step up and not over-play as we have seen many times.Her grief is internal.
Claire asked for more time with Cole but Victoria said she wouldn’t ask him to stay because she knew he couldn’t. The realities of life.

Wouldn’t any self respecting maniacal billionaire’s labyrinth with omnipresent cameras not be capable of remotely reconfiguring the maze with swinging hedge walls?
It would be fun watching Nick learning whatever path he chooses leads inexorably to the lady’s powder room.
Cane needs to up his game.
Swinging hedge walls would be a neat feature when this estate goes up for sale. Will the train be included? Diane could help Cane with tips for selling his property quickly. I would love it if she still had a few of her real estate business cards tucked in her purse somewhere, casually give one to Cane along with a reduced commission fee only offered to friends and family.
Lily can definiately hold a grudge When I heard this pointed up on air I definately came to the site to reinforce this.
On Wednesday Billy was rocking those shorts. It stuck me as odd to see bare legs out in public on one of the guys but I’m not complaining

Those were “great shorts”; and they looked great on Billy! Reminded me of the “madras” shorts from my youth!
The first thing I noticed when Wednesday’s show opened on Phyllis having a drink in the maze with Cane lurking behind her was the new background music. Was that a creep oboe I heard in the mix? I’m glad to hear Phyllis say that she isn’t going to get down on a knee to Cane. And how does Cane know if Phyllis has ever betrayed Nick. He has been gone for years. While, I felt robbed that we didn’t get to see Christine and Traci have a girl talk or a reunion scene with Danny, I really enjoyed the guitars in the park and I would love to hear Tessa sing more.
Surely Mariah hasn’t actually murdered the old guy! I was cheering for Tessa. She has been totally shut out from Mariah, enough is enough.
This faux story for Mariah connected to nothing is so unnecessary.

Y&R is going to run out of patience mourning for Cole very quickly. For now there is unsettling talk of cremation. A surprising realism for soaps. Also harder to come back from the dead with such a final process. Cremation, as if one never even existed at all. Well, he is in the air. Poor J. Eddie, heartbroken to have lost his life as Cole.
Victoria knows how to quietly mourn without bringing on the dramatics
I’m guessing it’s cremation because J. Eddie is off the lot. They didn’t want to keep him on for the coffin scenes.
I’m scared to die and everything is morbid to me. The mention of the word cremation is certainly nomal and a process, I just don’t know if I ever heard it called out on a soap before? Is it true that we ALL have to die? Wha about me?
The writers keep a storyline going way too far and it loses its appeal. Both Cain storyline and Mariah storyline.

Yes, Gary, a bunch of Chatters, I think, predicted that Mariah would smother that freak job with a pillow. This is not in Mariah’s character (or anybodyys) to do that so I’m surprised so many came up with this belief. (Maybe it was one vocal person) Whatever, from the faux flashback (in B&W) that is one freak scene. The looks on those partiers faces!
