Just watched yesterday’s episode, yay , I am finally all caught up , it tools weeks to catch up and I don’t know how many months, maybe since April or less but it took way to long to catch up and now I am finally all caught up. We all knew it was Carter to be the one to kill damion , it was obvious, I do like how victor and chance were listening in on Cain and Carter. Just watched july 24 , I knew carter killed damion but I was not sure it Cain told him to or he did it on his own but after this episode, now I believe that Cain have nothing to do with damion’s death and that carter killed damion all on his own. I liked the way victor and chance was with carter. Carter revealed himself in front of victor and chance and Cain , I was like gotcha. I was happy when Kyle called out Audra, saying that she was willing to go all the way with him to accomplish her goal. Having said that, Audra made the point that I was thinking. Kyle kissed Audra for a long while and lay on the bed with her, wearing nothing but a towel. I don’t think Claire would appreciate what Kyle was setting out to do. It looks like I am the only one who thought that Damien’s murder was not real. As Ali always says, no one’s really dead in soap land. I didn’t believe that this was the last we would see of Damien and that he would be off the show. I really thought that Damien had planned this fake death with Cane, and that Cane was lying when he said Damien didn’t have a pulse (sidenote: I don’t know why on Y&R, whenever a character wants to know someone) you can do science experiments. Hope you’re right about Damian. It WOULD stand to reason that his story would continue after the Lily romance set-up and Amy reunion. (Unless those WERE his closed-end stories, lol.) And so many actor ‘exit interviews’ turn out to be bull just playing to viewers – was J.Rivers’ just that? Guess we’ll see.
Yes you never know. They would spoil it if the actor revealed anything in interviews or on social media. I hope my initial thoughts were correct and Damien is not really dead!
“Soaps She Knows” website says, “Jermaine Rivers out for now on Y & R.” So you might be right and Damian will return at some point. His mama needs him, so I hope so too.
omg.. .My apologies…..I was so tired when writing this comment. I was looking up science experiments to do with the kids at summer camp and I see I incorporated this into my comment. Just watched july 22 episode. loved Nikki’s mama bear mode with Cain. I agree with Diane and Jack that it’s a bad idea for Kyle to talk to victor , Kyle needs to stay away from victor. I also agree with Diane and Jack about how it was a bad idea for Kyle to made the deal with victor. Poor sharen having ptsd and panic attacks
Hmmm. So do the previews and the above screen cap solve the ‘mystery’ for us before airing? Seems odd it would be revealed this way? But who knows, lol. At any rate, I’m glad we got out of GC this summer (yay!- it headed off gripes re: ‘no new sets,’ lol). Yeah, yeah- ‘no rooftop bar,’ ‘no Abbott poolhouse,’ ‘no teens,’ ‘no etc.etc.etc.’ Sigh. Ima be instead about the ‘YES! to yet another episode in on the 50years+ show I enjoy. And CHOOSE to watch. I see you, YnR; I appreciate you (EVEN if weirdo Carter IS the murderer, lol).
Just watched Monday July 21 episode. Audra and Kyle scene was funny . First I will say I was annoyed by Kyle with only wearing a towel , for Friday’s episode and this episode, I kept wanting him to wear clothes. I am glad he finally wore clothes, I liked how he was on to Audra and he was so right about victor . I understand why Nick want to go but it’s also dangerous to go. That Kyle/Audra scene was classic soapy perfection! Idk HOW both actors played it all w/straight faces and no awkwardness, but it was both drama AND comedy gold! Without hand-wringings, breakdowns, and other histrionics, M.Mealor and Z.Silver each delivered Emmy-worthy performances in their character’s ‘smooth operator’ (so each thought, lol) cat-and-mouse games. Hats off to those two giving the most fun in the whole Nice nonsense!

Nick Newman wins hottest Y&R male. Pasty white skinny rich boy Kyle with his lower towel doesn’t hold a candle to ruffin, yet best husband material, Nick Newman. I expect all three women will be doting on him next week.
The storyline otherwise is gruelingly painfully boring. . Thank God the cell phones came on and they can get back to Genoa City. First we have to watch Cain save Lily from the nerd and then fall for him again. Ugg.
Previews have Amanda talking to Cain about the authorities coming. She mentions they will want to see the bodies. I assume Carter is one of them.
Ay yi… is Amanda innocent in all if this? I want her to be the turncoat! Cool as a cucumber, whip-smart Amanda is sooo yesterday. Lol, OK, if I must let go of my cuckoo scenarios, I like the previously established Amanda just fine. And I’d be happy if she sticks around.
There are 3 Bodies that need to be removed. I am not happy. Y&R actually killed of a legacy named character. What a waste.
Good grief! This timeline feels like the cartoon race between the tortoise and the hare. A snail paced beginning to get to Nice followed by the crazy fast resolutions to get back to GC for the crisis fallout.
This is probably a dated comment but i hope Nick can be saved having fallen at the hands of the Dumas people
Being in Canada means I need to be quiet, except say Monday’s in the US will be a must watch.

On the spoiler topic, I’ve been pleased of late that some YnR recent actors’ departures had apparently not? been spoiled on-line… i.e. the ones who’d played Summer, Cole, and Damian. Part of what initially attracted me to soaps was the element! of! surprise! Nowadays much of that is lost (and hard to avoid – even when trying). I don’t jump ahead when reading books to see what happens later, nor do I want to know the end before I get there, lol… and feel the same re: watching TV and/or movies.
Yes Victor! You call Carter a robotic freak! hahaha. Sally finally finished her week long swim! I bet her fingers are wrinkled. Happy to see she is back on the scene. I can’t believe that Nikki is ready to sign over Chancellor based on a dream and dread in her bones. She has no evidence that Nick is in danger while under house arrest and no guarantee that Cane would free him after the transfer. So, COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED!!! These are supposed be highly skilled writers. But obviously no imagination from Josh Griffith.
Friday’s wrap up of the Whole Nice of it all, was some of dumbest writing and execution of a storyline that I have seen in awhile.
Aww, sorry you aren’t liking it. I kinda do, lol. But, I’ll cheerfully admit my ‘plot/execution’ bar often raises and lowers when watching my guilty-pleasure soap!
