Thumbs up in the poll as a fan because it was beautiful, entertaining and well acted. Thumbs down on the storyline pacing because the rushed ending combined with the dragging plot beginning was a missed opportunity to give Chance a heroic ending, Cole and Damian a better send off and Cane a better reentry into business intrigue.

Usually I have a very strong opinion about my Y and R characters and storylines, but this one is impossible for me. I am at a 50-50 split. I think if we wrapped this up two weeks ago then I may be at a 75% yes. The murder of Damien was a shocker but the culprit was a predictable disappointment. The Kyle and Audra story was intriguing until they hooked up and then it ceased to make sense. I really thought they would join forces and outsmart Victor for once. As you see it was good but…. that explains my… Read more »

I voted thumbs up but …. The hedge maze and endless buffet of quiches was a one trick pony for me. But the murders, kidnappings, Carter The Strange, and plethora of wardrobe changes made it a little bit of fun. Nice change of pace but glad the train transported everyone to GC.

I thought it was great fun! DEFINITELY more fluff than substance, lol, but I’ve enjoyed the ‘something different’ of it all. YnR took a chance (and aaaagh – ‘TOOK A CHANCE!) getting out of GC and I choose to appreciate it, why not?

I must give it Two Thumbs Down. I know some Chatters are here for the Fashion and Sets. But I watch television for the storylines and the writing. Y&R failed with this one. As usual they started out strong with who is Dumas. But once it was revealed to be Cane Ashby, it was a plop, plop, fizz, fizz, Fizzle to me.
Maybe it wasn’t that awful, but I’d still give it a thumbs down. Actually, maybe it was. Sharon YAKed (yet another kidnapping), give me a rest. Just standing near Sharon is perilous! Y&R payroll was trimmed, but at what price? Other than Carter, promising story lines nixed. With the Nice adventure not advancing the plot an iota. Any change from on June 16? Kyle’a prosthesis fooled Audra, so what. Audra’s product smells better than OK, but the needle hasn’t moved on marketing it? Not even the long awaited scratch and sniff test! And who buys based on the recommendation of… Read more »

While you can never go wrong with a pool set for summer (especially rooftop, remember that?), it was nice to see something different. You have to admit, a train and a hedge maze are pretty unique.
Thumbs up! It’s a change of pace from Wisconsin. Train sets and hedge mazes don’t come cheap so I appreciate the lengths the set decorators went to. I could have done without the painted styrofoam statues.

I voted no, was too long and drawn out. Got pretty tired of train cars and mazes soon after it started. Not being able to communicate wit GC. No one even knows Cole died. Or Damien. Or Nick being hurt Time to go back to GC

Thumbs up. I loved the train sets. The change is scenery was fun too. I do feel ready to head back to GC now though.
