Is this the beginning – or the beginning of the end – for Chelsea and Nick?; Dina, Brent Davis and Ashley not-Abbott; Billy fights back; Jordan takes Cane’s place… at the dinner table; and the Pimps and prostitutes of Genoa City;

What a difference a year can make in someone’s life. This time last year we were seeing doe eyed, stressed out, weak Sharon clambering to keep it together. This summer Sharon is on top shining, and I’m so glad her character is being portrayed as strong, confident, intuitive, and dare I say brave. Thick as thieves…you know what that means right? Hillary and Cane are about to make a regretful leap into the abyss of rebound sex. I bet they wind up in bed. All that anger and disappointment about there failed relationships might just push them over the edge… Read more »
Hello Ali
My favorite scenes this week was surprisingly was Hilary & Cane scenes this week. I usually don’t care for Cane’s character however those scenes were fun. I would never want to see them as a couple but I was shocked to see they actually had chemistry. I love that both former con artist were scheming together.
I thought it was kind of funny how Y&R gave us a close up shot of Jordan’s half eaten burger and fries on his plate when he was on his date with Lily at The Underground. He was using the food to demonstrate how he felt out of place at his high school dances. Y&R seems to want to give us a sense of reality by showing that the characters actually order food and eat it when they are out or at home. Lately we are seeing this more and more.
Nicky looked gorgeous with her hair long and straight.
I would like Y&R to be sure to light her well.
And what do these women do to get rid of bags under their eyes?
lol
If Billy had a better plan to reassure Phyllis other than going to the cinema, I’d support his helping Victoria but he’s just not thought this through, has he? But there again when he finds out that she was in with Jack all along, I doubt lust will be enough to save their relationship.
I am a Billy and Victoria fan through and through and I look forward to watching to the brewing fight with Phyllis unravel already but I don’t want to see them reunite in the end even though I don’t see why Billy would go to so much extent to help Victoria other than a secret undying love for her. My fingers are crosses that “the powers that be at The Young and The Restless” to quote Zoperxplex will have a surprise in store for us!
For those among us who are fans of Phyllis and Billy we began the journey between these two incongruous lovers with the complete understanding that the shelf life of their relationship would be counted in nanoseconds as opposed to eons. We knew, sooner or later, that their love would come to an end especially given the hue and cry raised by the general viewing public upon seeing their precious Billy and Victoria coupling being torn asunder. Judged by their assessment, you would think that the natural order of things had somehow been disrupted by a force of evil. In due… Read more »
Oh, please! Hilary is so full of it. She goes to Chelsea and says she wants Jordan back and she cares about him, but wasn’t she just all up in Devon’s face?
If I were Abby, I’d have already moved out of the tack house. Victor was so obnoxious, it is unbearable.
I either wish Y&R would allow Paul to leave the police department and become a P.I. like he was several years ago or have more existing characters in law enforcement that involve Paul and the police department. Otherwise the sex traffic storyline seems like an after thought as the Chloe/Kevin/House doctor storyline was earlier this summer.
The only living characters who knew about Ashley’s parentage are Victor and Jack. Tracy and Billy do not know. John never knew which makes this storyline very anticlimactic for me since he is now gone. I have watched the show off and on over most of the run but I do remember the mid 1980s when Brent Davis was on the show and the character died during that time. Since I do remember this storyline, I have not found it as compelling but more of a rehash but for Dina’s aging and health issues. These writers almost give me the… Read more »
