Read on my phone that Jill Farren Phillps (sp) is Y&R’s new producer in an article titled.,Y&R Forgets What Audiences Want”. It is a great, scathing piece about Y&R’s big business obsession where it has lost all awareness of the kind of stories the genre used to tell. I’ll skip the specifics but I thought I was reading something I wrote myself. Looks like I got my cliffhanger tease on Thursday of this week instead of Friday. I’m ready for Claire to confront Kyle and bummed I have to wait until next week.
Kyle told Claire some of it but not everything that happened with Audra. I think Claire may slow things down with Kyle until she is satisfied, she has the whole story.
Jack is being so nice and supportive of Billy when he does not deserve it. Billy has been an ass and I secretly hope he ends up with nothing. He was awful to Lily and Phyllis when he was in power at Chancellor and when his Mom fired him and sold the company he spun out and has not stopped spinning. Jack took a bottle from behind the bar and refilled Billy’s drink! I’d be kicked out of the bar if I stole a drink like that! Billy spilled all Cane’s plans to Jack. Billy was always a gambler and always wanted more, he doesn’t deserve Jack’s help.
Jack is there at Society everyday drinking, I guess stealing one drink is nothing compared what he pays for. I was surprised Billy spilled all of Cane’s plans to Jack, but maybe Cane knew Billy would do that, and it doesn’t matter in scheme of things. Phyllis will get in trouble with Cane for telling Billy he’s out.
Jack gives me such a royal pain fussing & catering to poor little rich boy Billy’s every emotion which turns on a dime weekly. Cut him off and refuse any more meetings with him.
We have not seen a follow-up since Sally told Billy that she loves him back in Nice. Ali pointed out that this was a big moment as they had never said those words to one another, and nothing has been said since. I am surprised that Sally never said anything to Audra about how foolish she must feel, as they both confide in one another. It seems that Y&R is not making this a big deal when it should be. That is exactly it, Billy is obsessed with getting revenge on Victor. Nothing else matters to him.
I wonder why Audra didn’t reveal to Claire that she and Kyle had made out on Kyle’s bed in his cabin car and that he was only wearing a towel. I think Y&R is saving this juicy tidbit for another time. It seems to be a slow build up to Claire finding out the truth. In good time, Claire is going to find out about everything. I was so annoyed and perturbed with Victoria when she was sitting with Adam and she asked him when he had become so thoughtful of other people. ( I don’t remember her exact words.) Adam was telling Victoria how he had gone all the way to Nice to deliver the news about what was happening in Genoa City. Adam had replied to Victoria that he had Chelsea and Conner to thank for his being a changed man. What is Victoria talking about?! I forgot to add that Adam delivered Sage’s baby Christian, whom is now Nick’s son. Nick would not have Christian if it weren’t for him. Nick should always remember this! Christian is not even his son, he is Adam’s. Nick needs to remember this and be very grateful to Adam.

Thank you Dianna! I like Adam and had forgotten that he selflessly let Nick claim custody of Christian. If the writers would bring Christian in and let Adam be the person he turns to for teen angst or whatever, there’s some drama that’s not convoluted. Christian could be drawn to Adam and what can Nick do except say nothing.
Great point, Naomi! I like Adam also; and would love to see Christian find out Adam is his dad and reaching out for Adam to be part of his future!
Adam has made the effort with Victoria so many times. Victoria is blind to wonder when Adam has become so thoughtful of other people? Victoria has been a much colder fish than Adam in the past. Without Ellen so many of Adam’s kinder points are lost. I love the idea of Adam& Victoria coming together in a friendship of sorts. Their scene together was very pleasing to me.
That is exactly right. Adam is always thoughtful and kind to Victoria. This is not the first time. Where has she been?? I also love the idea of Victoria and Adam finally acting like true siblings that love each other. I enjoy when she is kind to him and acknowledges his good traits. I have wanted a friendship for years. I think many viewers probably do. The feud has carried on for too long.

When Billy was talking to his mother about attending Colin’s funeral in Nice, it reminded me that Colin was yet another character to add to the list of characters that have died recently. We now have a grand total of 5 characters that Y&R has killed off all at once. Colin was the only one whose death happened off screen. Colin is another good character that Y&R has decided to have exit the show permanently, There is always the slim chance that Y&R could bring him back, but I highly doubt it. My phone had reported that Tristian Rogers had died which i passed on. Not true! How could they report such a mistake? Tristian Rogers is very ill with cancer.
That is so sad to hear. I really like the actor. Hope he gets well soon if that is possible for him.
Great observation! Colin was more of an opportunist and scammer. I didn’t care for the way Jill was talking about Colin like she was a silly school girl.
Ahahahahaha! YnR viewers often rag about its sets, comparing them to other shows’ ‘superior’ ones. Sigh… careful what you wish for? I.e., BnB is now airing UBER-cheesy Ridge/Nick/Brooke scenes IN Capri… so what?? The silliness totally eclipses the locale, lol. AND some scenes were CLEARLY green-screened… no big whoop to me, but that does annoy others. IJDC! Point being, soap sets may be whatever negative ‘fans’ declare them, but as long as the actors BRING IT, the illusion sells for me. I am fully on board the choo-choo train with Team Cane. All we need is Audra to join this rag tag team.
Lots of reasons for this, but the primary one is that I really want to see self-righteous Lily and Nikki put in their place. Their arrogance has been grating on me for months now!

For the Catholic Church, Monday is the Feast of St. Clare, patron saint of television as she had been able to see and hear the Mass on the wall of her convent room when she was ill.
What our Claire needs is a vision of Audra and Kyle on the train to bring some clarity! Or take an afternoon break to watch the show.
Sorry for this spoiler. I know the Chatters do not care for this. But I could not pass it up with your comment, because on Monday, Claire will get a “vision” of Audra and Kyle. As I said before Claire is going to take somebody out.
I know I will cause an uproar by posting these thoughts but here goes……IMHO….I think that Victor Newman is a fraud, a double dealing con man….a bully….it’s how he built his business empire of now. His schemes allowed him to mass the Newman Enterprises that sets him far and above many in Genoa City. Love your comment, Delores! Victor IS a total bully, lol. Many viewers relentlessly hate on him, but not me – I relish that soapy devil so integral to YnR! (And I even like him at times.) Anyway, I hope, hope, hope Cane actually CAN be a worthy opponent… Idk though, as I’ve noted before, he is ‘but a fledging’ in all things compared to the GVN. Regardless, I’m also looking forward to see this new rivalry play out w/Cane at least holding his own, if not gaining occasional upper hands against Victor.
Here we go again!!! Lily is considering to become again Victor’s useful idiot!! Why or why consider being a pawn in his desire to crush you ex/Cane, knowing as well as telling Victor that he deceived/lied to her in the past of his primary motives. Heard this plot twist coming down yesterday and was disgusted by it. No. No. No. Lily would never join forces with Victor again and she would not agree to romance Cane for nefarious purposes. Y&R, you cheapen yourself. Lily, was it the hard time in prison that corrupted you? You were once of a higher calling. Who will be your moral police?
Lily is so high on herself..a little conceded if you ask me. I am sure Cane can have anyone he wants. Pick someone else Cane. Lily isn’t that great. I am sure there are lots of great women out there for Cane that are much more laid back and open minded than Lily. Lily is too tense.
Audra is such a great femme fatale and she is the sexiest villain since Julie Newmar as Cat Woman. I love her and her dastardly mind and seductive ploys to get her way.

I so agree!!! She has been so awesome especially I feel when she was partnered with Tucker McCall. I had hoped that tptb had developed this story line, but no!! However they did keep her as dynamic as ever after all in all her moves in and around Genoa City. I hope she is here to stay for a very, very long time.
Totally agree! Kudos to both the writing and the actress’ portrayal that has effectively established Audra beyong her initially caricature character. We do see humanity (such as it, lol) beneath her sex-kitten machinations and can, not necessarily approve, but understand her motivations. Audra constantly juggles to play all sides, cover her behind, and guard not just her image, but her self-worth. And all while being gorgeous!
As a good southern lady that has a pitcher of sweet tea in my fridge at all times, it has to be noted that Society had an epic fail today with that pitiful glass of colored water with a fancy lemon that was served as iced tea.
