How would Victor feel about Claire and Holden? I keep wondering if he would prefer Claire with Kyle or Holden at this point.

I full understand Claire’s reasoning for her break up with Kyle and if she found herself pushing him away then it was probably the right decision for this time. I also understand Kyle’s anger and his emotions towards the breakup. I loved Jack in this as saying he will always be on his son’s side as his father but can find understanding in expressing why Claire made the decision she did. Diane on the other hand is full on mother bear and needs to go straight to the defensive towards any women who dares hurt her baby boy and felt… Read more »

Am I the only one confused with the Tessa and Mariah situation. Didn’t Mariah blurt out to Tessa that she tried to kill a man, so why is Tessa pretending she didn’t say that? Do the writers want us to forget that happened?
Tessa remembers, she told Daniel that Mariah tried to kill someone. Tessa is going so she can understand the extent of what Mariah was saying. Tessa can’t imagine why Mariah is trying to do this all alone. Tessa feels together they can handle anything. I’m not sure why Sharon, Nick and Faith haven’t had an intervention with Tessa. Mariah definitely needs to face her demons, but the support of her family should be a vital part of it.
Jess Walton, don’t trouble yourself coming back to town. Y&R needs to get over their compulsive need to rescue Billy. Enjoy your decorative lamps as you continue to tour the world via your deluxe hotel suites. Zoperxplex would refer to you as an old battle axe with smokers breath but I am not so rude.
Billy, Billy, Billy. Let me count the ways thou has failed. If this was Christmas time, we’d have a special episode with Billy as Scrooge meeting the ghosts of his past, present and future. Even then, I’m not sure he wouldn’t blame everyone else for his losses.

I might be in the minority on this, but I loved the Claire/Kyle breakup convo. Claire said exactly what I had been thinking all along (and Kyle should’ve known). Claire was too inexperienced to be thinking her first relationship would end up in a successful long term relationship (at least on the first go around). Kyle was trying to push too hard to make it work. I look forward to seeing how things develop with Holden!
I agree, Claire needs time to find herself, and maybe she will like Holden better, but Kyle did move too fast. He should have realized she wasn’t ready emotionally.

Claire’s reasoning about her relationship makes complete sense. She probably should have come to this conclusion much earlier than she did though, for Kyle’s sake. I actually feel sorta bad for Kyle. Claire is just eagerly skipping off into Holden’s arms while he is devastated. Diane sure was not happy with Claire, but it’s really not her business, but she is worried about Kyle. I am looking forward to Kyle being jealous of Holden. He’s going to go crazy! I’m looking forward to Tessa going to go investigate what happened with Mariah. Hopefully it will be full of intrigue and… Read more »
Yes, Kyle is devastated Claire broke up with him, and he will be very jealous of Holden, he already is.
Not sure what Tessa will find out about what Mariah did, but the whole trip is a plot device to get Daniel and Tessa alone together

Poor Kyle has been the recipient of “it’s not you, it’s me” as a conversation starter that leads to the eventual break up. We all know Claire is headed for solace in the company of Holden. I’m wondering how Harrison will take the break up news. Will there be a new nanny love interest or will Kyle forgive Audra? Should be interesting.
I had been thinking that Kyle should carry a portable shovel to dig his own grave. But as he continues his “courtship” I think that it should be upgraded to a excavator!

I am happy Jack turned Billy down to re invest in Abbott Communications. Billy has been all over the place and just like Jack said he just says pretty words to sound good but his actions have not backed that up. Billy is coming off as selfish and entitled to Jacks money. Just because you are brothers does not mean Jack owes Billy any of his money to fund a company and especially a company Jack did invest in and Billy threw his offer away not showing action of how much he truly appreciated what Jack did for him.
Billy is definitely selfish, and it’s definitely not a good look. And – insecure, wounded lug that he is, he simply doesn’t see it that way. Somehow I still feel for him as one big hurt, misunderstood soul trying to catch a break. Even though I know he’s not, lol. (I can hear Gary gagging already..)
I know Billy is selfish and obsessed I was hoping he would see the light and forget about retribution and revenge and build a life with Sally. But he never learns and I don’t think Jill will be helping him either
I agree. Jack was not going to trust Bily again with his money. Today Sally talked to Jill about investing, she is coming to GC. Will see what happens, but Billy won’t be happy she did that.

Lol, soooo many characters that viewers are/were frustrated over either being off the show or getting little-to-no screen time… I.e: kids, out-of-towners, townies never or rarely seen, the dead (and not so deads), cuckoos, ‘good-guys,’ re-curring, dropped, ‘compelling,’ ‘refreshing,’ and on and on and on. No room for all these people to have stayed! And if many of them hadn’t come and gone, there wouldn’t have been many of the subsequent others… a very soapy conundrum, this seems!
Let’s name just A FEW I reference above: Faith, Charlie, Maddie, Moses, Fen, Connor, Christian, Johnny, Katie, Reed, Lucy, Chloe, Kevin, Anita, Ashley, Traci, Noah, Ally, Dylan, Abby, Amanda, Imani, Elena, Nina, Chance, Ronan, Stitch, Ian W., Daisy, Sheila, Avery, Brittany, Rauol, Mackenzie, Theo, Rey, Arturo, Lola, Drucilla, Mamie, Olivia, Snapper, Jill, Malcolm, Paul… as I said, ‘just a few,’ lol… therein lies the problem of keeping all viewers all happy all of the time…!

As Claire walks into the Abbott mansion this Monday morning you know she’s going to orchestrate a way to get Kyle to further put his foot in his mouth so she can go running off with Holden. They are done. Why is goody-goody Harrison the only youth that gets to be on this show? Who remembers the real Little Lord Fauntleroy Harrison? Will Audra’s true colors be further revealed to Sally (she got an earful Friday) as Sally tells her she’s back at Chancellor and Audra is on her own via the job market? Audra needs to project acceptance while claiming… Read more »
Claire wanted to go to LA with Holden, she is tired of Kyle. She is right to investigate life, she missed a lot growing up, she did move too quickly with Kyle.
Absolutely Claire needs to investigate life. Its a good decision but leaves a bit of a bad taste in the mouth because she seems to be judging Kyle so harshly when everyone makes mistakes as they try to find their way in a relationship or out. Well, Kyle, now you’re OUT! Maybe later on after Claire has traveled the world in a sailboat. Who has seen The Dove?

Harrison did great. I think I notice some improvement in his acting. Italy must have been good for him. (wink) Can we please get Jill off FaceTime and back into GC. I wonder if actors get paid less if they are pre-recorded and used as a FaceTime call. It’s a convenient tool but Jill seems like she has been banished to a small screen on our screens. Well, I googled it, Google AI says Jess Walton retired from acting and moved to Colorado so popping in to the studio is not that easy. It also said that Jill would be… Read more »
I heard Jill was coming to do scenes in person to straighten out Cane and Billy. She hasn’t been acting much since her husband died.
Billy isn’t being honest with Sally. He will jump to get Chancellor if he can. Sally is going to be sorry she gave in to Billy. Audra is right the two of them should create a company. Sally and Audra are smart; they just need funding and a chance to shine.
We’re a day ahead in Canada but if I were calling the shots, on Monday’s Y&R you’d see a US ONLY 10 second drop in featuring Connor, Chelsea, and Adam at the game Saturday as the Brewers clinch the BEST RECORD in BASEBALL for the first time ever! Adam can repeat something close to what he said at the beginning of the [baseball] season: “this is their year!”
Thereby explaining Victor’s offhand remark that Adam and Chelsea are out of town on business.
