Fun little discovery. There’s a new show on Apple TV called Plurabis. At the end of episode 1 who pops up? A perfectly cast PETER BERGMAN! So fun!
Also, I’ve been re-watching the reboot of Hawaii Five-0 on Paramount Plus (which I highly recommend btw). Who pops up in a little guest start role circa @2015? AUDRA! Cute and fashionable as ever, but very sweet and innocent. It was a trip to watch!

Thursdays Episode is the reason as to why, I fell in love with Y&R, and it has lasted so long. However, not to be a curmudgeon, next week’s preview is exactly why this show will not continue when Eric Braden is no longer viable. They have Victor in everything and THE ONE, that always wins.
Phyllis handing that AI Program over to Victor was ridiculous enough writing. But now he needs to go to LA, to save Nick and crew, completely absurd.

What would have made Y&R Thanksgiving EVEN BETTER!
1. Holden and Audra sharing a Thanksgiving cocktail and meal fit for outcasts
2. Cane showing up at Phyllis’ door with a can of whipped can and pumpkin pie
3. The Abbott’s trying all the different pumpkin pies and finding out how Sally fared
4. NO PORCH kissing for Kyle and Claire!

I enjoyed watching the flashback of Danny and Christine’s first wedding. I know they still do the dramatic music in the background nowadays but sometimes I barely notice it. It may be just me but I felt like the background music was louder back in the day and I miss it.

I welcome Kyle & Claire’s Thanksgiving kiss. I know many chatters need Claire to be a vixen, or st least evil, but we already have that. Hayley Erin is multi-faceted(?), but to me she is most appealing as a good girl with moxie. Call me old fashioned. Kyle will be forced to slut shame her soon enough when her high living in LA gets out. Its in our water. I thought it was bad judgement on the part of the Thanksgiving adults to not put the breaks on Harrison adoration of Claire to help free her from his grasp when… Read more »

My mom is visiting, saw Nikki and Victor on the tv and said, “Oh, you’re watching your show.” So, I want to take this time to be thankful for “my show” and the enjoyment that Y&R brings into our lives and to take the opportunity for a shout out to Ali for giving us a fun forum for sharing and making this….”our show”…Thanks Ali!!

CBS got a little free advertising and I got a huge kick out of hearing Victor talking about the Chiefs and Cowboy game on Thanksgiving. He forgot to say… Go Cowboys! I love Patrick Mahomes, the KC Chiefs, and the GB Packers, but not when they play my hometown team.

Can’t wait for Victor to show up in LA. Loved the promo with Victor walking in and saying Matt Clark menacing. Be good to see these two actors go toe-to-toe.

This show has been a dud ever since Claire and Holden left LA. I was really digging that whole film noir vibe. But now it’s all Cane and Lilly: will they or won’t they? But who cares? There are no stakes there! What’s the impact if they do “find their way back to each other”? Their kids (offscreen characters who are supposedly adults but apparently have less emotional intelligence than Harrison) will be even more hurt and confused? Hard pass.

Love the Thanksgiving decor in the households, or should I say the mansion and ranch.

It seems like last year, Y&R actually showed people being served dinner at Crimson Lights. I always enjoyed seeing that; and really thought that was something missing this year.
I was nervous that it might not happen with Sharon away but, Ester saved the day. I agree they should have extras to be more authentic, maybe let the crew be in the shot.

Loved the kiss between Claire and Kyle when she was leaving Thanksgiving dinner. No extra conversation needed. Only the loving look she gave as she walked away.

With all the families talking of love and family at the end of today’s show, we have to remember that Phyllis will spend tonight alone; unless Cane feels a shred of guilt for ignoring her today and spends the night with her.
