The Abbott security team is clearly better than the Newman security team; however, they are both accountable to uphold the law. In what world, do you allow kidnapping or hostage swapping of your detainee? Even in the soap world, this is too far fetched for me and I am extremely disappointed in Jack. I understand he can be as ruthless as Victor in business but, this is highly illegal and immoral. I always thought Jack would be above reproach legally and ethically. I am sad that I was wrong about one of my favorite characters. 🙁
Surprisingly the AI storyline to me has become really good. So much has happened. Phyllis stealing from Cane, Victor getting it from Phyllis, phyllis and Cane starting to sleep together, Jack vs Victor again, Jabot shutting down etc etc
2 observations I noticed this week. Phyllis had a lot of cleavage showing and Sienna uses a lot of hand gestures when she speaks.
Yesss, I noticed that too re: Sienna’s hand gestures. Reminded me of the 1st Ashland who, while he didn’t wave them around like Sienna does, often framed everything he said in tight hand boxes.
Almost caught up on shows and Chats, so some late observations… 1.) Why the Holden hate? Is his past so soapy bad, lol? I find him hot! And charming. And well-intended. 2.) Why the Claire hate? Smarmy Kyle and Out-for-herself Audra are now the GOOD guys? Ahahahaha! 3.) Had a hot minute to roll w/the wardrobe re-vamps since Nice. But overall, THUMBS UP. Sally has left behind the silly, in-your-face yesterday’s grunge… Audra has settled into hot-girl vibe… Claire has sexed-up confidence… and Nikki is finally vibrant and uber-rich. But Sharon? Well, Sharon in her own words… has been in turmoil in recent months. She’s had to go to the back of her closet to even find anything clean to wear. She’s eating from vending machines and hospital cafeterias! She hasn’t been at the office in months so Cassie company is collapsing. She’s living off the profits of Crimson Lights, the only constant in her life. I wonder if she’s had time to keep her meds filled. No wonder she is a bit dowdy. This is all in fun speculation of what a soap life would be if framed in reality.
Audra is clearly flirting with Holden and making nice with Clair to keep her secrete secrete.
Matt is garbage but trading him to Victor for the AI? The Abbots kidnapped him and now they are trafficking him. We have no one in law enforcement now, so I guess it’s the Wild West.
Nikki was hiding around the corner listening to the whole proposal to trade Matt. She only popped out when Victor didn’t agree to it.
Next week looks good!
I am disappointed that previews for next week show Phyllis in that same sleeveless low cut black dress. Cane manages to not give the cleavage a glance so he deserves an Emmy! Come on Phyllis! That heavy duty push up bra must become uncomfortable at some point.
Lol!!! Love your Cane/Emmy comment. Phyllis is sexy AF, but.. at some point the cleavage game gets old (Ugh, sorry not sorry for the age-ist pun…)
I’m playing a three day catch up. I went on a little vacation to Epic Universal, the new park. It was really fun but super expensive!

Wow, Claire can do a subtle curl of the lip that speaks volumes. Audra better watch out! By the way, can anyone explain why Audra is suddenly flirting with Holden?

Ah, there it is. Lilly is conflicted and confused about her feelings for Cane (I’m not, I can see how she feels). She’s going to go spend time with Mattie for a few weeks or a month…..and have a baby. Lilly thinks Cane is trying to trick her into a relationship? Why would he do that, to what end, other than he wants to be with her. So that’s not a trick, that is what he is openly pursuing. She doesn’t make any sense.
