Chatter gossip…Michael Baldwin and Lauren Fenmore name drop on BTG. Michael owed Bill, both attorneys, a favor. Bill has a daughter and niece with a purse line and Lauren is helping the expand their business. Devon has made a guest appearance, I am curious if Lauren, Michael or both might appear.

Sharon’s little sparkly jacket thing was absolutely fabulous. Haven’t always been a fan on her wardrobe always as of late but that looked sharp on her. They do such a great job with other characters wardrobe (always love Nikki’s looks) so why can’t Sharon be fabulous too?

The Devons realize it is a relief for Dom to have been kidnapped by Mariah meanwhile Mariah & Dom’s immediate life is reduced to playing tedious card games. What a small world for “Zoey” who once had the run of the giant Chancellor mansion. Just how long will Mariah be able to keep Dom happy?

My advice for Dominic is to play dumb. Act like you are enjoying it and then when you get the chance make a run for it catching Mariah unawares. Will she be reduced to violence if she catches him? What would Ian Ward advise?

Also, what will be the timeframe of this kidnapping? Long ago, before the current onslaught, Y&R used to do a lot of mini-kidnappings that would last for a day or maybe even a rescue in a single episode. I can’t think of an exaample but does anyone remember this?

Why did Dominic hear Ian when he appeared. Is he real now? He thought he was his dad

What a revelation for Tessa today. I could see her brain spinning, trying to say no, no, no not Mariah. It would be devastating to realize that someone you loved had fallen so far and there wouldn’t be anything you could do to help. Now Tessa has a terrible job of giving Sharon the news. Sharon is going to feel so guilty that she did not go and see Mariah when she called.

Dominic could grow up emotionally crippled if Mariah persists in baby talking him. Keeping in mind that he is just a child you want to talk to him like a little adult for maximum developement.

Yessss. She looked great – and actually wasn’t acting drug-eyed loopy for a welcome change. (Was she headed to a party or something -or has just leaving the house become an ‘event’ for her, lol,?) Here’s hoping the morose Sharon-snoozefest is about over… GC needs her grounded, incandescent angel version back.

We got new jazzy music at the start of today’s show. Where’d that come from? Phyllis is sucking the lifeblood from the Newmans, she might as well dress the part with her new caped outfit. I’m surprised she was out in the morning light at GCAC. I hope Phyllis and Sharon’s friendship isn’t over. I see how now it would be rocky, but I wanted much more from them as friends than we have seen so far. Extra Alert: I loved that the extras were reacting to Phyllis, Nick, and Sharon’s public argument. The regular folk of GC must think… Read more »

Hope Mariah & her gang are not featured today. Such a stupid story. Even Mariah thinks it is insane. Finally I welcome AI.

Passed by a patrol car—Genoa City PD alerts on donut break. In a real-world child-abduction case, even missing the motel plate wouldn’t slow anyone down—modern police don’t even need plates. Vehicle-fingerprint tech tracks make, colour, dents, roof racks, and traffic cams plus business CCTV would triangulate Mariah’s route in minutes, basically turning her car into a moving QR code. The second that mitten ties to the car and the plate hits NCIC, every ALPR cruiser from Wisconsin to Illinois lights up like a Christmas tree—alert chimes blowing the officer’s ears off, triggering an immediate U-turn with lights blazing. Instead, Genoa… Read more »

A mitten, a CCTV pose, and a phone call—case closed, dignity missing. Showing Tessa the photo turned out to be a nothing-burger so empty it came with an apology. Before anyone could even pretend this was plot development, the police helpfully phoned in to report a woman and child matching the description at THE dive hotel—because that’s how investigations work now: vibes first, evidence later. And thank God Dominic left behind his mitten. In case we missed it, the camera zooms in and holds—a mitten, carefully placed like a plot coupon for easy redemption. Roll credits—please. Then we’re treated to… Read more »

I’m glad Chelsea and Nikki each didn’t recoil in horror at the plan of Victor’s. I’m glad they’re “in” on it. For the past few years (since I’ve been watching again), it seems like those Newmans not named Victor have been mostly ashamed of their patriarch. But Nikki married the guy! And Chelsea has attached herself to the son who’s most like Victor! There must be something about the man’s “Newman-ness” that they find attractive. And behold, there is!

How are they going to bring Lily “into the plan” when she is off on maternity leave for 3 months and the twins are reduced to off-screen characters?

I had the thought that they would say Lily agreed to the plan off screen and now that’s why she is “off the show” for a bit.

Ahhhh, was it sweeter back in the day before 24/7 access to everything? Soap viewing was so much simpler then… not knowing which actors were ‘on maternity leave,’ ‘in contract negotiations,’ ‘dating each other,’ ‘gay or straight,’ and so on. Nowadays, suspense and supposition are all (ALMOST) afterthoughts… we still get a few ‘oh wows!’ here and there, but I do pine for “back when a smoke was a smoke”…

And having no insiders peek into storylines. What you see at airtime is what you get. The mystery of it. When will Audrey get out of jail for NOT murdering her babysitter, Mrs. Nelson on Genera Hospital? She has already been in there for 6 months. Can’t take the injustice of it any more. But that day, if it happens, will be joyous. Worth the wait? Yes. I have remembered it a lifetime.

I like that Kyle wants a settled down life but I do hope he puts his foot down with Claire if he feels she is stringing him along. I completely understand that Claire not ready for a relationship that is moving too quick, such as living together and getting married. But I do think she needs to be decisive and pick Holden, Kyle or no one. On a side note of a prediction, maybe Kyle and Claire will have a one night stand but she will again push back on committing to Kyle and then Summer comes back into town… Read more »

If Victor is going to “detain” Lilly, Mattie, and Charlie and make it appear that they are in danger to try to bring Cane to his knees, why stop there? Go ahead and nab Daniel, Lucy, Summer, and Harrison to control Phyllis. And I’m very surprised that Chelsea and Nikki are on board with this cockamamie plan to isolate Lilly and her kids. It is reminiscent of Nice and that poorly executed plan ended with three gunshot deaths. If they use Lilly like that without her consent, she will be beyond outraged and feel like a Newman pawn yet again.
