Phyllis vs Christine Rivalry Feud on Y&R | Danny, Daniel, the Hit-and-Run, and Octopus in the Bed

Phyllis Summers and Christine Blair, Cricket, Romalotti, Williams… however you know her, this has been one of the messiest and longest-running rivalries in Young and the Restless history.
And the wild part is, it really did start with Danny Romalotti.

This Y&R retro recap goes all the way back to 1994, when Phyllis entered the story, drugged Danny, and set off the lie that blew up Danny and Christine’s marriage in the first place.
From there, we get into Daniel’s paternity, Brian Hamilton, Sasha Green, the altered DNA records, and why Christine became such a threat to Phyllis so fast.

Then it gets darker.

We’re revisiting the December 1994 hit-and-run, when Phyllis ran down Christine and Paul, and one of the most unforgettable little nightmare details in this whole feud: the dead octopus in the bed on Paul and Christine’s honeymoon in Nevis.

We’re also getting into the Daniel custody battle, how Christine helped Danny, why that made the rivalry even more personal, and what happened in 2012 when Christine finally learned that Phyllis was the driver all those years ago.

And of course, we’re talking about the prosecution too, because that whole part of the story is classic Y&R: old secrets, buried evidence, a courtroom showdown, and Phyllis somehow still finding a way to walk.

If you watched Phyllis and Christine in real time, you already know this feud has receipts. Let’s go back through the whole thing and talk about which part of their rivalry still stands out the most.
