Nikki was drinking again after being targeted by Jordan Howard and Claire Grace, who forced alcohol back into her system through a vodka-filled IV and left her trapped with bottles of alcohol. By the time Jack got to her, this was already bigger than one bad night.
And Jack had his own history in the room too.
Years earlier, Jack’s pain pill addiction began after Patty Williams shot him at the altar during what was supposed to be his wedding to Genevieve. So when Jack calls his old dealer, takes pills, and mixes them with alcohol in front of Nikki, this is not just a shocking stunt. It is Jack dragging his own addiction history into Nikki’s relapse to try to scare her awake.
