I have not yet watched the episode of Holden and Claire together. I have only seen the photo that Ali posted! I was a little shocked by the photo when I saw it! Unfortunately, I am behind this week, but I would like to talk about my pet peeve on this show, which is when we see what is supposed to be a picture or writing that a child has done, when clearly, you can tell it has been done by an adult to look as though a child has done. it. It never looks authentic. This week, I am referring to the letter Dominic gave Mariah. The letter did not look like a child’s writing. I thought the Winters jacket was an odd or awkward gift for Holden. I know Malcom is his father and the Winters family has graciously welcomed him but, his dad was the man that raised him. There is a huge difference in being a father and being a dad. I’m probably being old school but, Novak is his last name and that should be honored.
I agree, and just an odd choice. Holden and the jacket aren’t meant to be together forever. Give it to Malcolm for next Father’s Day.
I thought I had missed some confirmed details about Victor’s involvement in the yacht kidnapping when Jack was telling Nikki what he found out from Patti. Now I see that Jack made some of it up. I’m surprised he lied to Nikki. When she finds that out she will be heartbroken. Jack will only have Patty left if he isn’t careful. Patty’s not going anywhere where Jack is concerned. OMG!!! Matt is being such a lovable loser. The actor that plays him must be ad libbing with such skill. It’s adorable. I love when a villain can be lovable too. To say “owwie” about the bump on the head Phyllis gave him . . . stay sweet Matt, at least for a bit longer.
It is a wonderful twist. It Mat and everything around him is my favorite Y&R thing right now. I hope they keep Matt and Patty on forever. They are both so great. Phyllis can hate them for 10 more years.

BTG scenes at the country club have table side purse stands available for guests and that was a first for me.
Patty is quite a hoot. This “reformed”Patty is funny and smart. When she first arrived on the boat, I dreaded seeing her on my screen, but I’m won over. Can’t wait to see what Patty and Matt will be up to next.
Nikki looked beautiful in her cream and pearl outfit and her hair down in a current style. I think I would have preferred a New York hospital waiting area rather than a single hotel room for this part of the story. Maybe a Family Waiting area that is more comfortable. I guess that would be too close to Malcom’s room and he isn’t available for these scenes. Plus where would Holden and Claire hook up, in the Family Waiting area would be scandelous! Jack’s opinion of Victor was pretty bleak. He was trying to convince Nikki that Nick’s addition and her happiness doesn’t matter to Victor. If Nikki wants to find common ground with Victor to help Nick, she should avoid Jack’s table for a while.
Why wouldn’t Victor have one of his security team members follow Phyllis? She would lead them straight to Matt’s apartment. End of story. I mean… I guess that’s why—to draw the story out. But still…
I was literally going to comment that exact same thing! It seems like the most obvious thing to do.
Victor’s security team is so inept! Matt has been walking around Genoa City, bumping into every one, including some Newmans. And his team can’t find him??
