Phyllis drives me crazy sometimes, but she delivers the best lines. When she was at Crimson Lights with Patty and Jack walked in “Diane is missing? Have you checked yachts, cat cafes, the peanut butter aisle”. I laughed so hard. It’s been a while since I’ve posted, but had to share with everyone! Hope all are well!

Oops! Sorry! I may have spoken too soon. I can’t verify the story but, I hope it’s true.

When Nick recovers from his addiction, I want to see him in some steamy, hot, sexy time scenes again, as it has been a long time. I have 3 picks that I have in mind for Nick that I would like to share. As I have mentioned on more than one occasion, Christine is my number one pick for Nick. The timing is perfect as Nick could hire Christine as his lawyer to find a way to keep Matt Clark behind bars for all he has done. As Nick and Christine spend time together, they grow closer. When Christine finally… Read more »

The Matt Clark storyline has been so compelling, from the scenes in Las Vegas to Nick’s addiction story, has all been so riveting. The scene with Nick overdosing and Matt Clark saving his life was very emotional to watch. I thought all of the actors did a great job in those scenes. Now, having Matt Clark have amnesia and be a different person is so unexpected and interesting as we see him become a different person almost instantly. I hope to see him on the show for a while and am curious to see where his storyline will lead to… Read more »

I guess you didn’t see the preview for next week. Vile Victor is going to have Matt/Mitch(always to me), go after Cain.
So much for him changing, M/M, that is.
Victor will never ever charge.

Sharon looked pretty great today- yay! Not dowdy! (Same in the preview for next week.) Hopefully her character has looked in the mirror and thought, “OMG what am I wearing???? Get back to hotness!”

This whole AI resolution is suddenly anti-climactic. I sort of wanted weeks of clever corporate one-upping, caustic bantering, and ever-changing ‘upper hands’ for some delicious entertainment. But it putzed out (much as the Aristotle Dumas potential for legitimate challenge to Newman did). Yet… I do appreciate that YnR always humbles my ‘obvious’ predictions by never bringing them to fruition. What do I know, lol?

Phyllis is one great soap character. M. Stafford somehow keeps Phyllis’ self-awareness consistently absent – yet strangely sympathetic – in all storylines. Phyllis NEVER “gets it.” She ALWAYS eventually sabotages herself, yet passionately believes her own narrative, lol. Her convos w/Daniel were typical evidence of just that weakness. She “loved!” and was “really really proud!” of her company, lol (the one she stole, and then only hung her portrait and occasionally jabbed at her IPad for.) She did the AI stuff “for Daniel and Summer” to think her “a success?” Ahahahahaha! Hardly – she did it to STICK IT to… Read more »

Not usually on Phyllis side. But, she was dead right in the take over situation. She should also tell Daniel and Summer to kick rocks.
Children like these are the exact reason I chose not to have any. I didn’t want another person having too much control on how I decide to navigate my life and kids tend to do that.

Thanks, Sharon, for showing Phyllis the love of a strong friendship! The fighting between you two has gone on too long; and you both are much stronger moving forward together! Maybe Genoa City can learn something from “the darling of the town” that Phyllis also has some value and some worth (especially if Sharon thinks so)!

Yes! Good for Sharon! Phyllis’s wounds were self inflicted; nonetheless, she is hurt and needs help, forgiveness and redemption. I’m mindful that the Newmans went out of their way to make sure Summer knew about Phyllis’s bad behavior; yet, Phyllis covered for Nick and didn’t let Summer know about his addiction and near death mistake. She gave grace and she should have grace in return.

Ehhhh, I’m on the fence. It was touching, and yes, their bond formed during the Laurent trauma, but Idk about today’s ‘connecting,’ Is Phyllis really at rock-bottom, left now w/only Sharon for support? And Sharon – not spread emotionally thin enough to have more for PHYLLIS, of all people? There’s soooo much baggage and history w/these two – I would think some ‘wariness’ will always be between them.

Phyllis is like a child sneaking cookies out of the jar. Her remorse is getting caught, not eating the cookie. I want to clarify that the redemption I want to see is her taking her intelligence, computer skills, work ethic and fighting spirit to create something of her own.

Matt comes walking out into the living room after his shower saying, “I feel like a new man!” But did he mean to say I FEEL LIKE A NEWMAN! He is looking so sleek in his black outfit (looking like Adam or Nick would dress). Could he be the long lost triplet son of Victor?

YES! I thought that scene was a little strange, but now I see the “new man” was clever.
Next week, I don’t want Victor making Matt his personal thug. Keep Matt as a good guy. Victor will eventually probably make him head of Newman security. Matt has to be a Newman.

Happy Friday! Noah is right back into the high waisted baggy pants. He loves those. Cane and Lilly are so amazing! These two actors are so talented. I can really feel the love between them. They are my favorite couple by far. I can’t want to see how this reconnection develops and when they tear it down, it’ll be heartbreaking. Matt has been locked in that boxing closet all night with no food, water, or toilet apparently, and somehow has kept his clothes daisy fresh. Daniel needs to get over it. He knows his mother. Phyllis is going to Phyllis.… Read more »

Phyllis has been wrong from the beginning of her AI takeover of Newman companies and her thieving actions are indefensible; however, she’s not wrong about how Christine mishandled this case and she was definitely a willing participant or puppet in Victor’s scheme. Christine let her personal animosity towards Phyllis cloud her judgement and she repeatedly afforded favorable treatment to the Newman family. Christine is legally and ethically bound to equally apply the law without bias or favoritism. Will she dismiss all the charges or prosecute a case that will expose her failures as the DA? Will this epic legal debacle… Read more »

I don’t think Christine actually did anything unprofessional yet? Bringing charges to prosecute on what appears to be legit evidence is following legal course, I believe. ?But what do I really know about those things? Not a darn thing, lol. It seems to me the tell on if she’d act lawfully/ethically would be in her due-diligence/just-cause decision to accept or throw out each piece of Newman ‘evidence.’

Christine should have recused herself from this case as soon as Victoria met her in secret to bring the documents and she read them and asked Victoria is she wanted to move forward with the investigation because Billy would be implicated. The DA should not be privately meeting with potential witnesses or discussing confidential information. She was unprofessional and in conflict with her official duties as a public servant and officer of the court every time she went to the ranch and privately discussed the facts of the case.

Phyllis ACTUALLY feels she has been wronged, lol. And… this whole convoluted AI story has been the needed vehicle to sway viewer favor back her way. Phyllis had garnered SO much viewer derision ever since her fake death stunt, and… has since been clawing a slow, grueling journey back to gaining viewer empathy. Go, Red! The viewer tide always turns…

“Nick is just one of them” says Phyllis. Lol, duh… yeah, he’s a Newman?? And she has conditions for giving back ‘her’ company? Lol, this story is too hilarious… in the best soapy way – and I appreciate it! Well-done! YnR, for zig-zagging this story in ways that know-it-all viewers had never predicted… (and giving enough predictable concessions for such viewers to at least feel some satisfaction, lol@

AI is a wrap and I am glad. Now, we can find our missing person list: Diane, Danny, Detective Burrow and his search for Mitch/Matt.

This might be mom brain but I assumed ‘Summer Conglomerate’ was after Phyllis’s daughter Summer not Phyllis’s last name. The realization hit me when I thought Daniel isn’t represented in the name and why is it named only after her daughter.
