Perfect and hilarious!
We finally got a paycheck Friday instead of a cliffhanger Friday. Our pay off for the week was Victor and Nikki reconciled and embraced in a loving hug. Add to that the sweet scene with Jack and Diane snuggling in a hospital bed and all is well in our fairytale world. Our resident Fairy Godmother Traci was even in the preview for next week as she uses her Nancy Drew investigative skills in the case of the missing doctor.
I loved Ashley’s denim jacket with the gold fringes on it. My only complaint was that It seemed a little overdressed for the occasion when Ashley was supposed to be worrying about her brother in the hospital. Ashley also changed her hair colour as it was a little darker and styled a little differently. She looked good.
Now that we will be getting a new head writer for Y&R, maybe we will get back the Dive Bar set. It’s not too late to get this set on the go. There is a lot of summer left as summer goes into September. As Ali mentioned, we haven’t even seen the characters in summer clothes yet. We need to get this back and see some juicy scenes and storylines take place here, It is a great set in the daytime and at night as it had dancing to live bands in the evenings. I feel like the episodes of Y&R seem to be more family-oriented stories since Josh Griffin stepped down as head writer. I am not sure if anyone else agrees. An example of this was when we saw Lauren at the house with Ashley and Traci and they all decided to have a girl’s night. We have not seen Ashley in ages and I don’t know the last time we saw Traci at the house? It was nice to see all of these characters together in a home, not at a restaurant. What an honest and vulnerable question Nikki asked Victor, “is your hatred for Jack stronger than your love for me?” As frightened as Nikki is, her fierce determination came through. She cannot let anything get in the way of her healing. Nikki wants to be safe with Victor, but she can go on without him, if he can’t live with her friendship with Jack. Nikki put all her cards on the table. Now it’s Victor’s turn to let his emotions lead his heart.
Ali is complaining about Noah’s same disco look day after day. Today he changed into a new SNF outfit which is a slinky black button down with a big white carnation corsage that is absolutely the worst! WTF?
All I could say is, “Egads”.
He looked like a cow to me. Who the heck is dressing this poor guy?
I also thought ‘cow’.
The town wants to forgive a demonic force like Roger Howorth for saving Nick’s life but they won’t forgive Can for saving Malcom. Yes, Nathan, “goodnight”.

I wish Sharon had more of a story, she is just kinda there.
I have been wanting to see Sharon’s storyline be about Sharon on a mission to find her father, the man she never knew. If not that, then I would like to see Sharon with Adam. Sharon and Adam have always had so much chemistry, and we have never seen these two actors together intimately I don’t find Adam and Chelsea that exciting even though I like Chelsea. Y&R had a moment of The Walton’s. Nick (JohnBoy) and Nikki (Olivia) dropped by Victoria’s (Mary Ellen) home and they were invited to stay for lunch. Nick looked slightly worried about the menu of tuna casserole but did try a pig in blanket plopped down on a plate. We saw the Abbott sisters (Baldwin sisters), and Diane and Lauren have some of papa’s special recipe and share a new closeness. Vision problems seem endemic among the Newmans. Nikki is temporarily blind, Adam has lost his sight before, Victor suffers from tunnel vision, and Claire may be the most myopic of them all.
She wonders why Kyle didn’t turn to her after Diane was kidnapped and both Diane and Jack were stabbed, yet she suffers such a staggering lack of self-awareness that she is unable to grasp why he might have reservations about confiding in the granddaughter of the man she continues to defend—the very man who set the whole catastrophe in motion.
Victoria didn’t know what to think when that greasy salty chip hit her lips for the first time in her life. And pork rinds were Cole’s favorite? Pork rinds, really? Yuck. I noticed neither Victory nor Claire ate any of the pork rinds. I don’t blame them. Was the third snack pigs in a blanket? Cold had some every man tastes. Nick looks really really tan! I find it incredible that on the anniversary of Cole’s death Victoria is talking about how boring Cole’s book is. Ali, as an author you would be sensitive to this. Has Cole really been gone a ful year? Where does the time go?
What’s up with the postmortem mockery on Cole liking Tuna Noodle Casserole?
Chatters might remember my 2026 prediction: Cole didn’t succumb to what seemed like a manageable condition, he was murdered!
Audra needs to show some real investigative reporting expertise, and drop the exposé may be the key to saving the Spectra Charles empire.

In the old days Chancellor was a lumber company that built great buildings. (I think). Today it is all modern fru-fru. Only getting serious to run expose’s on competing companies. Lots of lunch breaks & take-out for the office.

I understand color coordinated outfits but, Audra’s pretty off the shoulder blouse matching Sally’s hair color was not pleasing to my eye. I am enjoying the all the jeans with pretty tops. That lavendar floral blouse that Diane wore and the pink sparkles that Chelsea wore were so cute for the summer.
Cole is probably the only human being to ever pick tuna casserole as a favorite meal, certainly the only one to serve it with a side of onion dip, pork rinds and pigs in a blanket. Ewww!
