Preview. Either people saw the previous shows(s) already or did not want to bother with a particular episode. People record shows and can watch them on their phones or tablets, or online. We, unlike Dina, do not have memory loss and can remember what happened in past episodes. I want the previews back!

I like the previews, too. It helps me hone in on what’s important. And if I missed something or don’t remember a bit of a show, it’s a great recap!

At first I thought showing the previous scenes was kind of cheesy. I didn’t like it at all and found it a waste of time. I had a change of heart as I realize it does help to see the previous episodes when you don’t always see the show everyday. I watch the recordings when I can. It refreshes your memory. I feel the previews can sometimes spoil the element of surprise for the next episode.

spoil the surprises on the show.

I liked the previews. The previews got me excited for the next days show and if I saw a preview of the scene with characters that looked juicy, I would be anticipating until I could watch that episode to see those scenes and feel excited when I sit down and turn on the episode.
I think the previous on Y&R is neat for those who don’t watch everyday but I feel they are a tad too long. But if I had to pick one I would choose previews because I watch and record every episode.

My vote is previous because I like knowing what to expect the next episode , I really don’t need a recap in the episode because I watch y&r everyday so am pretty sure I won’t forget what happened last episode especially when the last episode air the day before , why do I need a recap when am watching the show everyday , I prefer the preview because after I finish watching the episode I like knowing what to expect happen in the next episode

The recap threw me off. My initial thought was why do we need a preview when we see Y&R everyday and usually storylines pick up the next day or 2-3 days later. I understand having a recap in prime time because those shows come on once a week and sometimes not all storylines are shown week by week so there is a need for a recap. But, reading the comments of people who don’t watch everyday including my mom who texts me while I’m at work when she has a day off to get her up to speed lol, they… Read more »

Recap.
I don’t always watch everyday. So that recap brings me up to date.

As a viewer I want both but like the recap because it was very helpful with the return of J. T. Also, since 2017 will definitely go down as the year were most soaps were interrupted at least once each week by news bulletins, the Y&R recap will come in handy for viewers who missed part of an episode due to news/political interruptions without the show having to rely on flashbacks and character exposition as much as B&B.

I miss the previews for the next episodes. YR needs to bring the previews back.
