While I loved Sharon and Mariah’s “Mom” moment, my vote is for Hillary. The letter to Santa helped us see where she came from. And Hillary made a connection to the dreams of that little girl. Her softer side is coming out.

Can’t believe I am saying this as I especially liked the Sharon & Mariah “mom” Christmas ornament saga, but Hilary’s long ago letter to Santa – revealing a girl with completely different hopes & dreams for herself is the most long lasting character enhancing moment of the several Christmas stories presented. Ann’s wants for her mother take Hilary back to her Y&R roots and was a very effective, touching illustration for the softening of her character coming our way in 2018. I enjoyed the Hilary’s story as Annie writing a letter to Santa.
