I truly believe that Dina will be back I just hope that the disease does not progress as far as the character is concerned because if she continues not to know her children and not realize that John is dead it will truly brake my heart and I don’t know if I would continue to watch scenes like that I don’t know how the writer feels about talking about the disease being that his own mother is going through that would be hard for me to do that

I vote yes but I hope I’m wrong! If the quick way Mal killed off the other characters this year is any indication I think that was the end. I like watching Dina, she’s feisty. I hate the Alzheimer’s s/l; couldn’t someone else have go it? When Dina had Alzheimer’s she was too mean & it was exhausting. The goodbye scene was sad. I’m disappointed Graham was killed. I really wanted to see him date Gloria. That would have been fun. He’s a handsome 42 yr old man that would be great for the show.

I believe Dina will come back to the show. Maybe they needed to break from this storyline to focus on Jack and Alshey feud and having Ashley start up at Newman. I believe Dina will come back with Abby. I don’t see Mal Young dropping the Alzheimer’s story line because it is so close to his heart.

I said no. Wishful thinking hopes her symptoms were made worse by Graham since she improved within her weekly stay in Paris. However, since the producer/writer faced the same thing with his mother, I am not sure he would want to give Dina a false diagnosis or miracle cure. Regardless, I believe they will either have family members visit for a holiday episode or show her in brief scenes with Abby. She could then continue off screen as a reason why Jack or Ashley/characters/actors are off screen for any length of time in the same way that Neil has been… Read more »
Do all the stories have to be true? Couldn’t Nevill cure Alzheimer’s? Some soaps have had aliens and two-father twins, clones, and other not-exactly true stories. I don’t need my soap to be the news, just an escape from my own life. And Neville really could cure Alzheimer’s and and anything else. He could help Hillary. And Nicky. Oh yes, I think so.

I hope so, and am still holding out hope for a misdiagnosis, which is common, and can educate others to this issue. Traci revealing how much more aware she became in Europe may be a result of Graham no longer drugging ot messing with her mind somehow. Maybe even somebody else was involved, like Patty.

I voted no way because we still have not seen the last of her and I really hope she stick around because Katherine been gone for years we need someone like Katherine was and when Dina came last year I said we finally have someone who is like Katherine then they ruin her storyline with Graham and alzimers so am really hoping if and when she returns she stick around because we do need need her on the show plus they can do so many storylines with her

All the comments from you viewers/listeners & your own theories are fascinating!! I look forward to having you over for a visit every week. Thanks!!

Yes, all signs indicate she will be back, but, if asked my personal opinion, I wish she would not. There are no happy endings to Alzheimer’s, only heart rending twilights. It would be a betrayal to the reality that far too many of the elderly confront as their finale.
