What just happened on y and r. Oh my goodness!!! How many baby daddies does Dina have??? When I heard that I cracked up. That was totally unexpected. Even though they are rewriting history I like the twist. I have a feeling Dina had no idea who Jack’s father is. I don’t want to spoil anything……so I’ll just write this as un-spolierish as possible. Does anyone else think drunk Jack is funny? I sure do, especially when he’s looking for a friend. “Neeeeeeeekkkkiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!” Jack and Billy are always funny when they’re not in drama, so, more drunk Jack and his funny shenanigans would be great. I liked it when Jack and Sharon were together in what felt like eons ago. I despise Mal for making John not Jack’s bio father, and he better take it back soon! However, I do have a preference for the bio dad if it must be, Phillip Chancellor.
OOOoooh, Phillip would be good. And maybe Brock can come back……if they didn’t kill him off years ago. I feel like I have to read through the Y&R Wiki’s again, lol.
I like the idea of Abby and Arturo getting together as it will likely cause more conflict between her and Victoria. Victoria won’t like the idea that Abby is making moves on her mother’s boy toy. lol. I am really enjoying the drama between Abby and Victoria and would love to see where this goes.
Jack really got a big serving of karma given to him! After getting over the twist of Jack not being John Abbot’s son after all of these years, I realize who the heck is Tracey’s father if John Abbot couldn’t have kids?
Yep! Sure, there’s old dudes that can fight, but Victor? Yeeeeaaahhhh, not buying it. I could see Jack kicking ass Duke Nukem style (or Johnny Cage), but not Mr. Mumbles.
As to Nick and Sharon, earlier this month, Nick was engaged to someone else. Surely he needs to grieve that a little? I feel like good writing would mean that they would show us some lead up to how this could re-develop. Good writing would be a series of compelling interactions that would have us seeing chemistry and sexual tension and allow us to begin to cheer for them again, without rushing immediately to coupledom. There was build up for Sharon, I guess. From what I can tell though, today, Nick was just basically trying avoid eviction.
No! No! No! These writers cannot mess with the bond between John and Jack Abbott. I’ve watched this show since I was a young girl, so now almost 30 years. This will be more than I can bear! Please don’t do this! Please, please, don’t do this! (I have no real comments other than just to cry and stomp my feet like a child and shout “bad writing!” and beg for this to stop immediately.)
Oh yes! Rewriting something as solid as John/Jack Abbott is unacceptable. The current writers are making changes that can’t be undone and are setting a path toward this long-run, long-loved soap toward its end. The lighting, the fast pace, the unlikely relationships, the demise of solid characters, the repairing of dusty couples, the campy scenes……
I have never before wanted to jump through my TV screen and transport myself to Genoa City, but this week was a doozy. At different times throughout the week I wanted to give JT a piece of my mind and a piece of my foot in his you know what, shake some sense into Victoria and chest bump Victor when he showed JT the security video.
These new writers…. WOW!!!!! They’re phenomenal. I am so glad Sharon and Nick finally kissed. They’re a great couple who always find their way back.
Haha, back again! Yes! The real Sharon is back, and hopefully she’s here to stay. No more flanderizations of characters please.
My hope is that JT gets caught for pushing Victor down the stairs and that he was at the ranch. I feel there will be some mystery on who did it, but if Victor has secret camera in his safe and the ranch has security then there would be security cameras for his house.
Some may ask why daytime drama has been so marginalized by the viewing public, well if this is the treatment offered by the network then why is there a mystery behind this question. The phenomenon reminds me of the famous Heidi Bowl by N.B.C. in 1970 between the N.Y. Jets and the Oakland Raiders.
