What Lily and Cane did to Hillary was cruel. If Lily wants to be upset about it and can voice concern to Devon but locking Hillary in to miss her appointment is just plain mean. It was like watching the “mean girl” in high school. I hope Hillary becomes pregnant from her night with Devon. That plan backfired so much on Lily because having Hillary and Devon create a baby the old fashion way I think will bring them even closer faster than if they did went to the doctors office. They could sleep together once and then not want… Read more »
I can get on board with Hillary and Devon as long as he is strong with her and doesn’t let her backslide into any kind of pettiness when he is around – for example ordering Tessa to bring her coffee. He must call her on all ugliness as he signed up to be her moral compass by being the father of their baby. If he lets her get away with being demeaning to others then he’ll make me angry for being weak. Also, him keeping her in check would offer many funny scenes! Whatever capers Hillary instigates when he’s not… Read more »
*Facepalms* Lily and Cane are hyper lame. They’re like a live action version of Boris and Natasha.
Cain is one of the biggest con artists of Genoa city, and this is what he came up with to help his wife with her scheme? More proof he is no good for her.
I know, eh? And I was liking Lily again, then, they have to do this. WHHHHY MEL? Ok, she doesn’t like Hilary, whatever. I think the old Lily would have ignored her and tried to out-do her by being happy and making a success of herself. Or just being happy. This doesn’t seem like her……….unless………Cane, what do you have her on? You sick, twisted freak! I was liking Lily being on her own too. She could have been on her own and gradually found someone better, someone new, and hot. Maybe, hopefully, Cane’s help in screwing up the commercial will… Read more »
Lily and Cane are ridiculous and infuriating. And on top of that, their plan -that we waited all week for- was really lame. I’m still not clear how they can still be making claims that Hillary “destroyed their family” because she didn’t share her friend’s secret. And to explain their bad behavior this week, they said they saved Devon from having to explain to a child how the mother had slept with both father and son. Ok you people with no self-awareness, it seems like Sam is the kid who has the extremely complicated explanation coming, and THAT is not… Read more »
I laughed so hard looking at how badly that plan backfired!
Same here! And the end result….mmmwhahahahahahaaaaaaaa!
So far….one solid Kyle episode later, I gotta say I kinda like the actor! Not sure where they are going with the character but I feel the actor did a great job of inserting himself right into Y&R as though he had been playing Kyle all along. Some actors can pull that off, some can’t.
I feel the same way! I love the actor! He’s doing a great job already.
Those cocktails at the Genoa City Athletic Club Bar are extravagant.
I love the actor playing Kyle! I don’t like what his character has become but I think the actor is doing a great job! I just watched Friday’s episode on YouTube and his conversation with Jack is riveting!
Soooo what happened with thw Shawna storyline? What was the point of bringing her on if she was just gonna be on for 2 or 3 episodes? I mean we never found out why she wasn’t going to school for a week.
This 45th anniversary week is such a dud and pretty boring. I’m so disappointed. Of all of the characters over the past 45 years to bring back, I feel like Raul and Brittany are pretty strange choices. I don’t remember being that invested in them when they were on the show. And this week, they were boring to me.
Ali,
In last week’s chat, you briefly mentioned what the dynamic must be like between Amelia Heinle and Thad Luckinbill playing this story line while being married. Well, I actually discovered after reading Amelia’s Wikipedia page, that the two got divorced last year. I feel like that would make this even more difficult. I can’t imagine what the emotions must be like for the actors.
Will Victor save Jack?
What was the reason behind Traci’s speech. Is that a harbinger of a metamorphosis of JT?
I fast forwarded through Traci’s speech because her speaking about the death of her daughter Colleen was too painful to bear. I will go back and watch it as this is an intriguing angle
Walnut Grove taught him to become a scoundrel?
Jack looks fat in that jacket.
Oh yeah I see a fight coming.
