As bad as Victor is, I always feel so sorry for him when he cries. Eric Braeden is such a great actor, he can make you forget all of the terrible things he has done in a split second. The extremely sad expression on his face with tears rolling down, pulls at my heart strings every time. Victor can say or do anything horrible and I somehow I will always feel empathy for him. I can also see how Mal Young wants us to think the story line will be going one way, but then takes an unexpected turn. I… Read more »

Hello Ali
This week on YR was Great week!!! I honestly believe that Hilary telling Deon she is pregnant was maybe the sweetest baby announcements on a soap. I listen to the soap digest podcast this week and Bryton & Mishael were talking about there characters. They mention that the baby pictures were actually of them in real life. It has been nice to see Hilary & Devon reunite & I also liked that Devon wanted to romance Hilary.

Jack and Nick should team up and start a business together. They are both at a point in their lives where they want to have a fresh beginning. This is their chance. With their combined years of business experience, knowledge and motivation, they could be a force to be reckoned with. Victor would be furious and very jealous, feeling like his own son turned his back on him and betrayed him by united with Jack. Victor made a speech about how proud it makes a father to have his own son follow in his footsteps. Victor has to realize that… Read more »

This is a fantastic idea! It is the ultimate revenge for Jack against Victor.

Victor is all about family loyalty but the loyalty must be paid to Victor. Victor believes he owes nobody a thing. This is how he sees loyalty- as a payment in exchange for a position at Newman Enterprises and for his favour and regard.

To have his son work WITH his enemy… brilliant!

I can’t believe Nikki’s candor with Abby. I really didn’t think she’d tell. Do you think her motives were pure or is she jealous? Additionally I can’t believe Victor this week. You’re still walking with a limp from your stroke but you are ready declare war on your son again. Did you learn nothing Victor? Poor naive Nick. Does he really believe running of to San Diego’s will stop the wrath of Victor Newman? Lastly, I have a theory about Devon and Hillary. I think Charlie is going to get Shauna pregnant and Devon and Hillary will end up raising… Read more »

I think Nikki’s actions were petty and done out of pure jealousy. I don’t think there was a reason to tell Abby anything especially with Nikki and Arturo’s relationship being over.

The funniest part of Friday’s episode is Mariah getting a preview of what Kyle has in store.

I love the old “Restless Style” cover framed in Billy’s office! I just noticed it, cool little throwback.

NO WAY would a mother drop a bombshell on her daughter as she was frantically leaving the house late for work.

It’s choking on a gnat, but I can’t stand it when they do that

Ahhh, a little blip in time. Is it just me, or do the Jack and Sharon scenes make me want them to be better friends? I don’t really remember when Sharon and Jack were together, but I absolutely loved watching the quick scene of them just talking. More Jack and Sharon please!

This would be a good time to see the return of Gloria. She is the ideal character to salvage Jack’s ego from its descent into oblivion. She would shore up his courage and fortify his drive to recover his position at the pinnacle of the Abbott dynasty. The two working together could regain entre into Genoa City’s creme de la creme making Jack once more a worthy adversary of Victor.

What are they going to do with Victor’s character? For the first time ever he seems old and irrelevant as he is stuck in his prehistoric way of thinking. Nick rejected Victor’s view of what it takes to be successful in business very directly, maybe it finally hit home. Could it? Would the the writers adjust and soften Victor’s soul?

Anyway, Christian is a toddler now so if Victor expects to mentor him, he’d better be a freshman by the end of this summer. Presto chango from diapers to driving

I bawled like a freaking baby during the Traci and Jack scenes. There are no words to say how beautiful and sad that scene was. Jack may be the heart of the Abbott mansion, but Traci is the heart of the family! I love her so much. She just exudes warmth and love. Come to think of it I find myself crying a lot lately during Jack scenes. Peter Bergman and Beth Maitland are amazing!

Now I understand why Victor was so equanimous when presented with the specter of a Sharon and Nick reunion, he wanted to use it as ammunition in the event of a future confrontation with Nick.
