I loved Nick’s reaction when Phyllis asked him to go on a date with another woman. The look on his face was priceless. Joshua Morrow is so cute!

I think that is the first time we have heard the horses names that live on the ranch. Buck was one of the names Victoria mentioned. It would be nice if there was actually a scene where we got to see the horses once in a while. I know it is hard for the show to do. More outdoor scenes of the ranch would be great to see and make the ranch feel realistic. I would love it if the Newman’s had a barnyard party at the ranch, after it is rebuilt. It would be fun. Y&R did it once… Read more »

I thought Buck was the ranch hand. Wouldn’t be lovely to see horses and a barnyard cat 🙂

You’re probably right.

I have to laugh that Mariah complains every day to Kyle and tells him zero details about how bad Tessa is, but she can’t tell Kyle what Tessa did without exposing what her mom did because Tessa couldn’t have done a bad thing unless her mom did a worse thing first. Soaps. lol

So the entirety of Friday’s episode points to the murder coven totally kidnapping Tessa. Not. Cool. At. All. Ever since Tessa trusted Mariah enough to tell her about not only about the blackmail but Noah as well, the entire story has been nailing down “Tessa lies.” But what about the rest of the story? The murder coven covering up a man’s death? Then lying to friends, family, and police? Mariah even lying to police, as Rey laments he can’t trust anyone to Mariah and she says “yeah I know the feeling” yet she knows she can solve his case! Mariah… Read more »

So did Nikki and Victoria decide to kidnap Tessa? I can see it now: Tessa is strapped to a wooden chair in a darken interrogation room. Nikki and Victoria insist she confess. Nikki raises her hand and slaps Tessa across the face-several times. Suddenly Victoria raises her voice shouting “Mom stop! I think she actually enjoys that!” I can only imagine what Mariah’s reaction will be once she learns the news. I imagine she will get very upset to the point that she may confess the truth to Rey. I think that scene between her and Rey at Crimson Lights… Read more »

I didn’t get to see Thursday’s preempted show. I just got Friday’s.

Did you get Thursday’s show and not Friday ?

Laura, I have to confess that your question is a little confusing. One thing is certain, Friday’s episode was originally programmed for Thursday. Perhaps you missed Thursday’s episode, the one where Devon is visiting his psychiatrist.

Wednesday was Devon’s visit to the doctor, no show Thursday. Today was Friday’s show. I didn’t see Nick and Rebecca Barlow at dinner but saw her in lingerie with Phyllis barging in at the last minute to save Nick and to sign the contract. Mariah found Tessa in the cold and there were scenes from next week.

What did she tell Nick before they retired to their suite? Were they at dinner at the athletic club or top of the tower?

Well, here in Puerto Rico what was shown on Thursday was Devon’s visit to the psychiatrist office. A portion at the commencement was missing due to coverage of the late President Bush’s funeral. I am pretty certain that Friday’s episode where Tessa is kidnapped was scheduled for Thursday as a result of the C.B.S. network’s commitment to covering the funeral.

I think I am beginning to understand your confusion Laura. On Friday there were no previews for next week. What you are describing must be scheduled for Monday which would mean you are watching the Canadian schedule. Well, to bring you up to speed regarding today’s (Friday) show Rey decides to interrogate Nikki and Victoria separately. He accuses both of knowing that Victor was responsible for JT’s murder and that they are trying to hide evidence. He insists they tell him his whereabouts. Victoria responses that she has no knowledge of where he is and even if she did she… Read more »

It was funny when Nate and Ana were making so much noise in the kitchen when Devon was so hung over. It was nice to see Nate loosen up a little and show a sense of humor. He is always so serious most of the time giving lectures. He was giggling like a kid when he was making the special remedy in the blender. It was cute to watch!

I really love the new Fenn! I feel he is much better than the last actor who played Fenn. Nothing against the actor but I thought he always had a confused look on his face and didn’t care for his look. This Fen is much more confident. I was hoping that there would be a love triangle between Kyle, Lola and Fenn when the preview showed he was coming back to town. Mal Young said he likes to take things in a direction that the audience won’t see coming. It was looking like Summer was possibly going to cause trouble… Read more »

That Rebecca Barlow is one trashy lady. First she expects her host to help her land a date with a man she has just seen across the dining room. Then she informs Devon that unless his leading recording star is available for her entertainment she is about to declare sayonara to any business arrangements between her and his company.

Nate needs his own storyline. I loved him when he first arrived, but has become nothing but a sanctimonious caricature. He has so much potential, and I do not think Kerry is the answer, unless she doss turm out to have a Mamie connection, not love interests. Maybe if he helps her to discover her past as an adopted child or such, ultimately related to both Mamie and Nate. His love interest needs to be somebody we already or have previously known. I guess maybe Vixtoria, since I cant’t think of anyone else.

I really appreciate seeing Devin in therapy for the purposes of understanding where is head is at. I am connecting to how Devon feels. It was good too hear his situation through the theapeist as a third party unbiased person to the whole story and realize how much loss and complained family dynamics he has endured. It was great that not only Lily was brought up but Nate’s position as Hilary’s surgeon. How could what ifs and blame not circulate in Devon’s mind when he sees Nate. As was mentioned it was inappropriate for Nate to be the surgeon for… Read more »

Thanks for posting the shot of Genoa City in winter. While watching the show today I paused and really looked at it imagining where Lola’s truck parks, is that Chancellor Park in the foreground, where is Crimson Lights in relation to downtown and is that building over there where Devon’s penthouse is. Can Victor and Nick see each other from their offices? Do they wave?
