Can’t wait for more awkwardness between Cane and Victoria. Cane is my absolute favourite character at the moment as he does the exact opposite of what he should do. He and Victoria agreed to keep the kiss a secret. He immediately 1. Tells Jill 2. Pulls the most awkward face in front of everyone at Victoria’s house when he spots her 3. Teases Victoria that she can’t sneak attack kiss him with everyone about – this within earshot of Billy.
He and Phyllis keep me coming back for ‘What are they going to do next’.
If it is only 40 degrees in Mia and Rey’s apartment, wouldn’t we be able to see their breath? I’m pretty sure you would, but not positive.
The ranch has a different look. Not exactly sure what it is. I like it better. It’s a nice change.
I thought it was a different wing of the house, but maybe they updated the set. It looks larger and more befitting the Newmans. However, I’m still waiting for them to move back into their old place 🙁 Surprised how much I can miss a set from a soap opera from years ago. In my mind it was an extension of the house I was living in at the time. It was my home too
I was shocked when I saw this set!
I’m ecstatic that Nck knows. I’ve always thought it was silly that none of them told Nick, who would want to protect everyone involved. He would never put his loved ones in danger, and he would provide a lot of help to them. This is gonna make the storyline much more exciting.
Billy was so ugly for sleeping with Summer for revenge. So ugly that his remark to Phyllis should have had no effect, considering the source. However he made me feel guilty on behalf of Phyllis when he quietly gave her a piece of this mind
So now Nick knows. It obvious Victor knows. It’s time for the Newman men to work together and solve this mystery once and for all!
Phyllis is such a great character. So often in life you want to tell people what you really think of them but don’t because it’s not nice and wouldn’t change anybody’s behaviour anyway. At least we get to watch it on tv. Phyllis’ personality pivots storylines
Who planted the bloody poker? I thought it was Victor who planted the gun and bloody shirt to throw suspicion off Nikki, but he’s in jail now so it can’t be him. Nick was with Phyllis then at the memorial so it can’t be him. Maybe JT is alive after all
I noticed both Mac and Victoria were wearing black with lace near the top of their dresses. When Mac hugged Victoria and them both standing up admitting they have either been emotionally and physically abused by J.T. I thought I wonder if the similarity in their clothing is to represent the similarity in their abuse with JT.
Seeing Billy’s facial reactions realizing what Victoria went through jus showed how much this hurt him. When Victoria told Billy how scared she was and it felt like she was being tossed around like a doll and seeing that single tear drop down Billy’s cheek made me see how much this broke his heart. And I loved it when he told her he was proud of her.

That was horribly wrong of Phyllis to announce publicly by her own choice the truth about Victoria’s domestic abuse by JT. I am disgusted by it. She had no right to say what Victoria went through. It was difficult for Victoria to admit it when she did and even though J.T. is presumed gone, what he put her through can still haunt her. Having Phyllis announce this to Reed who is mourning his dad is bad but I don’t think it matters who is in the room, sharing someone else’s abuse without their permission as a public announcement is cruel.… Read more »
Why was that such a big deal? If I recall was Victor not the first to reveal Victoria’s abuse during his T.V. interview with Hilary?
Phyllis is gonna get a heaping taste of bitterness. Who does she think she is anyway? Why is it always up to Phyllis to “speak the truth”, or to say what others should or shouldn’t do. Phyllis was way out of line speaking about the J.T. abuse toward Victoria. How dare she shock and hurt Reed in that way. I’ll be very disappointed if Nick doesn’t stop to think about continuing his relationship with Phyllis. Phyllis was effectively sacrificing her self esteem in the eyes of the assembled mass in order to prevent Nikki from revealing the truth. Nikki said so herself when she excoriated Phyllis saying that the real truth that Nikki was about to reveal was not up to her (Phyllis) to decide. Phyllis knew that her gambit would be frowned upon by all the observers of the memorial particularly Nick.
I agree Phyllis thought she could prevent Nikki from confessing the truth about what really happened to J.T. But I guess Phyllis wasn’t really devoted to Nick, for there can be no other outcome than their impending breakup. If what you say is correct, then Phyllis knew what she was doing by blurting out the facts of J.T.’s and Victoria’s relationship. That makes Phyllis cowardly because she will do anything to keep the truth of J.T.’s murder quiet, even sacrifice her relationship with Nick.

Well said, Zoperplex. Top notch interpretation of Phyllis’ actions, even though it was self-serving (Phyllis’ action, not your interpretation)
Now that Nick knows the truth I think this signals the end of Phyllis and Nick. He will be quite angry when he realizes that Phyllis has been trying to implicate the wrong suspect (his father) even if that meant she was, at the same time, saving his own mother’s neck.
An abrupt end is fitting the abrupt beginning of this relationship
Why is Nikki so shocked upon seeing the fireplace poker? Has it not been there since last April when she killed JT? She must have seen it a number of times. Today’s episode could best be described as contrived. Sharon and Rey sleeping in the same bed is nonsense. Even if they happened to have run into a motel with just one vacancy he could have asked for a patrol car to pick them up,or, out of modesty, they could have slept with their clothes on. I think Phyllis got rid of the poker in a dumpster along with J.T.’s cell phone. Nikki disposed of the carpet in the incinerator at the ranch, if I’m remembering correctly.
I was thinking the same thing about their clothes.
Artuuuuuuuro wants to know why he feels “like he’s done something wrong?” Maybe because you were sharing body heat with your brothers wife/old girlfriend and by the look on your face, would really rather it never end? But alls fair in love and blah blah. Your brother is lying too while Sharon hides in the bathroom (LOL) so Ray can lie in private to his cheating wife. Just an observation, why can’t Sharon undress in the bathroom? How long will it be before the chair is empty?
