When Sally said she was putting salt and n Nick’s wound I had never thought about where the phrase originated. The phrase “salt in the wound” originates from the literal practice of rubbing salt into an open wound, which causes intense pain due to the salt irritating the raw tissue. Historically, this concept was both a literal form of punishment or treatment, as salt has antiseptic properties but also causes sharp stinging when applied to wounds. About Michelle Stafford’s skin product company, Skin Nation, she said on her Instagram that she has discounts on Prime Day. I bought her products then. From her post it sounds like she does use the products daily. Even her packaging and logo are nice. I am not sure how long they have been on the market, but I would think she will do very well. She is also a real comedian in her posts. She is funny, silly, and very Phylis like in “real life”. I especially love her cleanser.
