I want/need Tara to come claim HER son! I’m so sick of Summer saying my son or our son. It’s disrespectful that Kyle has wiped all memories of his mother. How long can her jail time be? It was a white collar crime, right? Any way, Tara can take custody of Harrison and Kyle can have in the summers. Please, please Y and R, bring Tara back!

I agree, Tara should come back, Harrison is her son, she was a good character, a good mother, she would bring some excitement to the storyline again. Summer is not Harrison’s biological mom, but she really loves him a lot. Kyle does too, but they are both distracted with love interests

Can we meet Christian? I think the last time we saw him, Connor had locked him in Nick’s garage! At least, give us a glimpse of this boy.

They should age Christian, let him pal around with Conner and Johnny. It’s not right we don’t get to see Christian at all for years. He could be an important part of the storylines with the Newmans, especially Nick his dad.

The psychological drama of the endless kidnappings and psychotic characters has now made me ready for corporate espionage/sabotage stories once again . Let’s see Audra reveal Kyle’s not so nice self. Claire has her own baggage so maybe she can accept him ‘as is’.

I agree, if there is another kidnapping I’ll scream! Time to move on to other stories. I guess Martin is done ,going to jail, and Alan is dead, Poor Tracy. Again, no love interest. Find her a man, a good man like she deserves. Even if Martin duped her, she will find it hard to let go of this, she wanted Alan, but maybe she will realize she was in love with Martin, but he is a psychopath, and his story is probably over at least for now.

Audra is a practical woman. No job offers except Victor’s with strings attached. She will take care of herself and make the hard choice to take his offer. I don’t agree with her at all (I guess I would scale back expectations for c suite and just get employment) but I admire that she is self aware and knows what she wants. Nate has been deceptive in the past just as Audra has. Maybe she should just tell him the quid pro quo details and let Nate decide if it’s a deal breaker.

Audra is a survivor, I don’t agree with her trying to seduce Kyle or working with Victor. Sally is right, Victor only wants her to do this to hurt the Abbotts, he doesn’t care about her at all. And Nate is not going to stand for this. He is already curious about Holden. How will she explain to Nate she is seducing Kyle for a job with Victor, he won’t agree to that She will lose Nate over this decision.

What did y’all think about Audra’s white sleeveless shoulder padded outfit she wore to meet with Sally? I don’t think I’ve ever seen that combination. Seemed a little thick above her shoulder to me. Sally was the voice of reason when she questioned how Audra could even consider messing up Kyle and Claire’s situation to run a Newman division and be under Victor’s control. All of that sounds like a bad idea. Not to mention messing with Kyle will undoubtedly risk her relationship with Nate. Her relationship with Nate has made her a better woman and she obviously loves him… Read more »

Audra’s shoulder line is reminiscent of when teen girls roll the sleeves of a T-shirt up and tuck under at the shoulder to avoid a farmer tan. And the thumb holsters or whatever these sleeves are, is just an odd trend. Not sure if Sally has thumb holes, but as usual, her sleeves are covering her hands. It’s a curious fashion trend, these extra long sleeves. One more fashion comment – Claire has a print dress in ‘fall’ colors. I miss Abby in her fresh pastels, even in the winter months. Nobody sparkles in pastel pink pantsuit like Abby.

Thump holes started in outdoor clothes in an effort to keep hands warm. I see fashion designers have progressed to using them in very sheer, thin material. The thumb holes help the fabric keep its shape and not roll up. Hand washing would definitely require so maneuvering. Not unlike jumpsuits when nature calls. lol.

The reveal that Alan was really Martin was completely anticlimactic.
Also, after his recent behavior, I didn’t think I would be concerned for Kyle, but he needs to leave Claire. She is not worth the trouble. After all, she is very deceptive.
And Audra is just plain stupid.

Last week, I commented about the sleeves worn by Sally and Phyllis being unsanitary germ collectors and the ewww factor they bring to my mind. My fashionista eye noticed Ashley wearing them this week. So, I put on my teacher hat and did some googling and discovered the sleeve designs are called thumb holsters. Who knew that Y&R would give me this teachable moment and I may be retired from my kindergarten world but, “wash your hands” is still my daily reminder to all.

Sally had on another thumb hole or thumb holster top under her jumper dress today. I guess I am in the minority on this fashion trend.

Russell and a few other chatters have been saying all along that the balcony death plunge somehow had the wrong twin dead. The logistics of it didn’t work for a realistic story but yet here we are. Soap magic was performed and we have another predictable story. Oh well, acting has been entertaining, Traci has broken my heart and Martin has scared me.

What an episode today. I was on the edge of my seat. Martin almost convinced me he was really Alan. It was believable he had no idea what Traci and Chance were accusing him of. As more evidence became clear to Traci, her realization of the consequences of bringing Martin to GC were heartbreaking. At the police station, Sharon and Phyllis took Martin down to size. It was glorious to watch them crack through his facade and hear him admit he was Martin. Wow, Sharon and Phyllis have been the best pairing since Victor and Nikki. Y and R thank… Read more »

Escape? There was a dead body. So, wouldn’t that be Alan?

I keep hoping it was a fake “soapy” death.

Yes, I agree, they found a body that was evidently Alan. Martin easily moved into Alan’s life. He wanted what Alan had, a love interest like Tracy, a respected career, but he was psychotic. If he didn’t kidnap Sharon and Phyllis, he would still be fooling everyone, and he and Tracy would have married. But eventually Ashley would have figured it out. And again Tracy would have a broken heart.

I think it was great that Chance let Sharon and Phyllis bring down Martin. It was a great episode. I wonder if Martin is gone for good, off to jail, not to be seen again. Ashley also was instrumental in revealing he was Martin not Adam. I knew she would see through Martin’s facade. Too bad for Tracy, she really loved him whether he was Alan or Martin.

The actor playing Alan/Martin was really good in Thursdays episode. The plot makes no sense to me but as sueW will point out, the acting is what makes the silliness palpable.

I must confess that I have been on the edge of my seat the last few days while watching this plot play out. They buttoned it up pretty quick and I am waiting for the other shoe to drop. This doesn’t feel like it is over and I’m reminded of….”Same bat time, same bat channel” sentiment and I can’t wait to see tomorrow’s episode.

I’m up-to-date as of Wednesday . So we know that is Martin. and we know there’s a farmhouse near the clinic. So maybe Tracy was dating Alan all along. And then Martin came from Paris, put Alan in the farmhouse, kidnapped Sharon and Phyllis and only has been with Tracy since that time. They will find out that Alan is in the farmhouse, and he was the one who Tracy fell in love with all along.

That wrapped up pretty fast and on a Thursday. Makes me wonder if Martin will get away to torment another day.

Phyllis and Summer’s conversation had some words of wisdom. Unfortunately I didn’t type comments as I watched – so I can’t remember the specifics. Old Timers Disease is real

Traci enumerated the differences she saw in Alan’s behavior while talking to Jack and Ashley in her hotel room. Further proof that Alan and Martin are both alive!! Meanwhile Martin is keeping Alan drugged and a prisoner at a secret location!!

I like that twist! Traci herself was noticing some things when suddenly Martin/Alan was a little bit too enthusiastic about everything. She has been gaslighted.

I don’t think Alan is alive, I just think that Martin was losing his portrayal of Alan. Even Ashley said Martin couldn’t play as Alan for too long. If Alan is alive, that would be great, but I doubt it. I think the whole storyline is done.
