I’m really upset with how Chance didn’t get a decent funeral on screen. He was a legacy character. The whole town would have been there. Would have been nice to see Jill and Nina. .Y&R hasn’t had one decent funeral for anyone that died recently. All off screen. WHY ?
So sad to hear Tristan Rodgers died. I knew him most from GH as Robert Scorpio, since the Luke and Laura days, but he was also Colin on Y &R. He will be greatly missed by fans and coworkers alike. Condolences to his wife and children. He had lung cancer and never smoked. RIP Tristan.
He was always Scorpio for me, even when he was on Y&R. I loved that character and his accent. May his memory be a blessing to all those that love him. His friends and family are in my thoughts and prayers.
I really liked Nick’s eggplant polo shirt. interesting texture. Are they going to tell us what was in the Newman Media piece? What it says about Billy other than it was rough? Someone needs to read it aloud. Yet another business product we don’t get to see. Lily and Cane freaking out because the article about Cane’s identity was just released is crazy. They can call the kids right now. I doubt it was pushed to their phone as soon as it dropped. And I don’t like Lily’s bargaining their kids happiness to control Cane. They probably won’t tell us what was in the hatchet job Newman Media did, everything is off screen these days
Does any character on the show know that a “plan” is not saying, “I want to do this or that”? A plan is explaining how: what is Cane going to do, step by step, to acquire these privately held companies? It all seems so preposterous.
They never explain their “plans”, or their businesses.
That’s because Cane doesn’t know what he will do now that no one wants to do business with him. He will have Phyllis hack the companies and go from there
I’d really like to see Lily and Daniel get back together. I’m not feeling the Tessa/Daniel storyline and Lily really needs to loosen up and stop being angry all the time.
And while we’re wishing, here are 2 triangles I’m wishing for:
1. Cane-Phyllis-Billy
2. Nick-Sharon-Sally

I think Lily will end up with Cane eventually, but I don’t like the Tessa Daniel coupling either. Cane, Phyllis, Billy is a good one.
Chatters, did everyone notice the stark difference on Cane’s US train? The large “camel back” sofa in place of the unimpressive Nice chairs. It is so large and comfy looking! I say this in a facetious manner! LOL. And, to expand my thinking this week on sofas: I earlier mentioned my disillusionment with Jack’s pinkish (salmon colored) sofa. I noticed this when the Abbotts returned from Nice. Diane’s new remodel looked really beautiful–but the sofa still stuck out like a “sore thumb”! Also, the monogrammed logo on the window valance is now backwards. It reads DA instead of AD.
I think it says CA for Cane Ashby.

Did the tack house just get a refrigerator? And is this the first refrigerator I’ve ever seen on Y&R?
I don’t think it’s a strong enough storyline for Lily to constantly tell Cane that she is or isn’t willing to speak to their kids with him. First of all, they are both parents; and that is a lifelong job to “offer” any help or guidance to them. And, in fact, their kids are adults now and really should be able to handle some adult problems by now. I would like to see a much stronger storyline coming from Lily. I find Lily extremely unlikable. She is a little too big for her britches. I don’t know why Cane is so attracted to her. She acts like Cane has committed the crime of the century. Who cares that Cane didn’t tell his grown children that he was using an alias for business purposes? Wow Lily..the so-called kids don’t have to know everything about Cane’s business dealings. Thanks Dianna! I would rather see the story move ahead quicker. Ex., A few Chatters mentioned before that maybe Lily is pregnant with Damian’s child. That would give Cane and Lily a lot bigger issue to talk about!

When Nick bursts in on Cane and Lily, it reminds us that on soaps no one locks their doors! And everyone leaves their doors ajar for perfect eavesdropping!
On Friday Sharon looked so beautiful again! Her hair especially. And the colors of her dress are beautiful; even though I’m commenting before seeing her standing up. Not sure what the style of the dress will look like; but the flowing top seems Cleopatra inspired.
Yay! A rock and roll wedding in October is exciting! Danny and Christine have every right to a Phyllis free wedding but, it is up to them to tell Phyllis that she is excluded and tell Daniel separately that his mom is excluded. Since, Christine just stirred the pot and stepped in it “big time” by asking Daniel to be involved in keeping his mom away, someone is going to be indignant, insulted, or angry. My money is on Phyllis and I say she’s got probable cause and the cat fight begins.
As I was saying, I live in the valley part of Los Angeles and over the hill off the 405 freeway is the Westwood Veterans Memorial Cemetery. A beauty of green laws and white crosses. Pristine, eye-catching & perfectly manicured. I know this location is just what the writers were referring to when they wrote this exposition of ‘What happened to Chance?’ for Christine to deliver. A shocking rip off but very cleaver. There is peace for the Chatters in knowing Jess Walton, the new Jill, was in attendance.
Who would ask me to visit WVMC to visit Chance Chancellor to confirm that he is there?

I do think Lauren Fenmore could torch Christine at the altar with all the holes & over the top crap she puts into all her clothes. Avoid the fishtail.
What schemes could Phyllis think up to torch Cricket’s wedding? Don’t answer this. Phyllis could be reading.
So inmature.
My hope is the writers spare us the obvious juvenile pranks by Phyllis. How about a split screen of a long shot of the wedding guests and Phyllis alone on the park bench. That makes me sad just thinking of it.
Hijinks are fan pleasers but it would be wrong to ruin Cricket’s wedding. Y&R may consider these nuptials their most important ever. And DIANNA will be in the audience. Yes, SueW, does a wedding really have an ‘audience’? You will help me with the right word.

Phyllis will do something if she finds out about the wedding, but it is time she grows up and leave it alone. Danny doesn’t want Phyllis and never will
Remember back in the day when episode after episode highlighted the whining of Devon; now replaced by the continuous whining of Lily!
