Summer is soooo irrational . She whines and has a tantrum every time someone disagrees with her. She acts like Harrison should – a spoiled brat. I feel like I am in Freaky Friday where Harrison is this perfect understanding and supportive person and Summer throws tantrums, stomps and pouts when she does not get her way. ” She is so unrealistic , it is hard to watch. I think both Summer and Kyle are acting like spoiled brats. Poor Harrison is caught in the middle. They should act civil forget the custody battle and keep joint custody and Kyle should not be moving out of the Abbott mansion that Harrison is used to. Summer can’t hold ultimatums over his head either.
Kids learn to adapt. Kyle should be able to get his own place if he chooses. Even Harrison mentioned that he could still visit his grandparents all the time. He is only moving out of the house, not to another country or state.
I feel compelled now for weeks to talk about how much I can’t stand Harrison. This is by no means a personal attack on the actor but the writing is making me feel sick. No kid is that much of a goodie two shoes . It is just so unrealistic and difficult to watch. The writing is super unrealistic. Also, it is a wonder he has any teeth left with all the sugar he eats. I really hope Claire has a dark side too because she is almost is as nauseating as Harrison….
I get it! Harrison is the worst (not the acting)! Way too good to be true!

I thought I was annoyed at Billy because of his suspicion that Chelsea and Adam were hiding something. But that makes no sense, since they were hiding something! No, I think what has annoyed me is his unwillingness to tell his girlfriend exactly what he fears that “something” is! He’s been jealous and afraid for weeks that Chelsea cheated on him. He should have come out and talked to her about his jealousy and fear, however difficult that conversation would have been. So of course Chelsea hasn’t been honest. But in a way, neither has Billy. Nick seems to be the only one with a good head on his shoulders these days when it comes to family matters. Mariah and Faith can both see how off their mother is acting and mentally distracted yet they both were pushing for Sharon to go off to a desert alone…Why they think this a good idea I don’t know. It was good to hear Nick tell Sharon that if she didn’t feel ready to go then she shouldn’t go and that it was a good idea for her to stay home. Thank goodness for Nick. When Alan and Traci were talking about the fun experiences they shared together neither of them mentioned how they went to see Danny Romalotti in concert and how Alan met Danny and Christine back in Paris. Alan seemed so happy to meet Traci’s friends and seemed impressed that Traci knew a famous rock star. They spoke about the restaurants they went to in L.A but meeting her friends and going to a concert together seemed like a significant and memorable event to speak about.
That’s because Alan is really his brother Martin. That’s why when they were in the Abbott mansion he was so impressed because he was never there before Alan was. I wonder who will be the one to see that, maybe Ashley when she comes back will notice that he isn’t Alan.
Even is that is true, Traci could have mentioned this fact. Not that it is a big deal. It does appear that you are right and we may getting a twist. What would be the fun of Alan having a twin if the show doesn’t use both of these characters for some added drama.
IMO Sally’s beauty is often overshadowed by the flashy outfits. She looked gorgeous in the pink dress.
I agree. She is so pretty and they give her so much make up.
In my ongoing crazy war against Billy I want to observe that the last time we saw Lily & Billy together, at the end of the episode, at the end of the scene, Lily had a few choice words summing up Billy’s essence and personality that was spot on. I wish I could quote what she short & sweet said but I can’t remember her words…
IDo not look to see Sally saddled with a Billy for life…
Agreed, Billy should spend more time with Katie and less time at the bar and whispering in Sally’s ear.
I don’t know… Sally and Billy have more chemistry together than Billy and Chelsea!
OMG. Audra has never even met Harrison! If she does she is not going to want to be his mother finding him far too precocious for her taste.

Why oh why didn’t you Adam learn from past mistakes……and you too Chelsea…..secrets will come out of the dark into the light and the cover-up is far greater offense sometimes than the guilty act especially when it was not done out of malice but an earnest mistake. The pain of “coming clean” to the possible injured party may be uncomfortable or devastating but you would have been honest and sincerely regretful of that mistake, asking for understanding and forgiveness. If only… if only… he didn’t have sex w/Chelsea, lol. ‘Earnest mistake’ or not, he’s a cheater, cheater, pumpkin etc.! But he’s REALLY REALLY sorry afterwards… oh ok, that’s good.
Adam and Chelsea should have had better self-control but then this is a soap and they need cheating and hiding it from their partners, but not for long. I think Chelsea will be the first to break not sure if Adam will be truthful with Sally or not
Oh I find Phyllis one of my most annoying character but today she got my round of applause!! All of the residents of Genoa City are cautious when approaching TGVN due to fear or awe or subjugation but not Phyllis….she will confront him and put him on notice whenever she feels or see him making moves that will harm someone she loves or has harmed in the past/present/possibly in the future. My girl Phyllis is FEARLESS!!!
Some of the women’s hair, like Sharon & Claire’s is —— up which I think is real life fantastic as these are the dog days of summer…

I guess TPTB at Y&R want to keep us viewers not quite sure of who will be in the day’s episode.
If I recall correctly it was discussed here in The Chat, that based on the opening credits you knew who would be in the show that day.
Well, I guess someone at Y&R said we can’t have that. Because in Thursday’s opening credits we saw Cait Fairbanks, but Tessa was not on. Melissa Claire Egan was not in the opening credits, but Chelsea was in the episode.
They can’t have us figure too much out.
I don’t know what day it was but I just saw Tessa in the opening credits! For me, you & Tess are interchangeable! Happy watching.
Sally doesn’t jog in Chancellor park anymore. She had a much softer look with a subdued style of dress and less harsh makeup, hair. Faith was sitting on the floor in a dress and doing it with grace. Then we see her carrying in a striped chair to sit on. Sharon’s cottage home suddenly has a claustrophobic look especially when Bloody CK is draped across the couch thumbing through the giant fashion magazine.
Love!! Sally in that color… very refreshing over her usual Gothy darks and tiresome animal or geometric prints. (I suppose that’s all meant to be ‘edgy,’ but it all generally gives me ‘depressed middle-schooler’ vibes.) The actress is such a stunner, and I always feel her character needs a more fashion-forward look to fit the designer she supposedly is… I envision cutting edge, vibrant, and gorgeous… remember your Forrester Creations background, Sally!
The grey dress she wore earlier was pretty great, too…
