On next week’s previews; Diane saves Ashley’s life?? Looks like they will be “besties” now! Going out to lunch, going shopping, taking in a late night movie! It leaves the two new husbands to ask each other, “Have you seen my wife?” They won’t be able to pry them apart! LOL

something is really, really troubling Connor for him to want to go live elsewhere….and hopefully Chelsea and Adam will be able to get to the bottom of it. I think the parenting of Connor has been noteworthy for Chelsea and Adam always try to discuss and agree what is best to handle any problem with him that arise. Connor has been showing signs of something has been troubling him since Lucy and Johnny appeared to be more friendly toward each other, leaving him out in his eyes. I wonder what is going on in his head??? I like the time… Read more »
You got part and by equation the entire reason why Connor wants to leave GC. His Family Dynamics. First Sally with Dad, now with Uncle Nick, My Aunt Hates My Dad, My Grandfather Has Control Issues, My Mother Is Unstable, for she is with my Dad, then my Uncle, then back with my Dad again, now my Mom, is with Man, that hates my Dad. I am surprised Connor survived this long. I would take my con artist Grandmother, Anita, over this town of relatives, any day of the week. Run Connor Run.
Ooops!!! Sitting in La Madeleine’s waiting for my food and realized….nooooooo, Johnny’s dad is Billy who is now with his mom(yikes)…poor Connor!!! And I think that Connor wants Sally back in his and his dad’s life permanently.

Loved the park scene with Sally and Connor. He has always seemed to trust her! And for the crazy life that she has led; she shows a lot of understanding and compassion for his feelings and his fears. She also told him she missed him and wanted to catch up; in order to keep him from heading off to his friend’s house. I thought this was a very touching scene; and showed that she has the instincts to do the best for him. As I’ve said previously, she needs a “light bulb” moment to realize that she and Adam would… Read more »

I really liked the dynamic between Sally and Connor, their conversation at the park felt comfortable and natural.
Yes, and needed scene for Sally to showcase her kindness which we haven’s seen in a while. Those two have always really gotten on. Even after Sally tricked Connor to call the cops.

Is this the end of the Diane/ Ashley feud? As much as it has angered me I realize I don’t have anything else to be passionate about on the show now. JG, what else you got?

Val Bloom do not stick around town when so many others like Tara Locke could be brought back!
Good point…I never thought about that. Theo could be brought back as well instead of Heather and Lucy.

Ashley, the classic, nagging insecure wife – in tears. With a tail on her husband. HA!
That’s entertainment

Connor is so darkly troubled just like his pop and he definiately doesn’t want to go to Dakoda Club Pirate Day. Frankly I think its too late in the summer season to send him.

My question to the writers at Y & R is: Why redeem the character of Adam, only to have his family superficially accept this change? Instead of weaving him into the family, as Michael was into his, Adam is left in its outskirts. As a viewer, I scratch my head because this doesn’t create a better story.
He really didn’t need redeeming. He hasn’t done anything so terrible for a very very long time. And he has done many heroic things that never get mentioned. No one else in the family is raked over the coals for the mistakes of their pasts! Hey Victor, remember when you let Marco pose as Jack for months and months and Phyllis was sleeping with that dangerous criminal, she’s Summer’s mother! That is much worse than anything Adam ever did. Oops, I said I was going to stop ranting this week. Bonus rant?
Everyone, especially Nick, forgets how Adam saved Faith’s life by donating his kidney. i believe he also saved her life another time as well when she wandered off. Nick and Sharon should both be extremely grateful to Adam everyday as well as Victor for saving his granddaughter. If I recall, Adam, also took a bullet for Victor.

Ashley’s been getting on my nerves for a while, but it was rather sad to see how upset she was to think Tucker had already been unfaithful to her. Tucker impressed me when he remain calm and explained everything to her. He also suggested they let go of their vendetta towards Diane. I hope Ashley listens and gives the viewers a break. Let’s go onto another interesting story.

OMG. A stroke of genious. A belated pre-nup contract. That ought to shut up all the nay sayers in town. Let’s print it in the Genoa City Cronicle. I mean post on line.
As this scene continues to play out i love Diane’s spot on perfect logic and excellent thinking. She has completely taken charge of her situation with the town and especially Ashley silenced?
That is a funny first camera shot of Tucker sitting up and getting lost in the big marriage bed. On morning one Ashley realizes she’s made a mistake with Tucker slipping away on the wedding night to go join comrades Nate & Audra. This is mafia.
The pre-nup is mostly wonderful for DIANE who convinces jack that it frees her up of the social anxiety she feels in the town with gossips pointing her up as gold digger. Wait til Ashley learns it was Diane and not jack who had it drawn up with Diane having to all but force him to sign.
Tucker shouldn’t have gone to Audra’s room. He lucked out that Kyle was there as he didn’t know that. The decision to go to her room could have cost Tucker his marriage already.

Has anybody considered this but perhaps Ellen? With all the talk about how twisted Adam supposedly is, or just how difficult to deal with, has anyone appreciated how he pretty much rolled with the punches as Nick moved in and took over the love of his’ life in Sally? Adam took the ultimate blow very well, overall. A hard pill to swallow, to say the very least. Was it Sharon yesterday that basically advised Nick to be nice to Adam and he will be nice to you. Treat him well over a whipping boy. And on the other side of… Read more »
Adam respects Sally and Sharon and will listen to both of them. Nick & Victor, you could get in on some of this action if you knew how to play your cards right.
Gary, you make a very good point about how Adam acted fairly chill with Sally and Nick pairing up. I think this was more in deference to Sally than Nick. With that saying, Adam certainly did not turn into “Bad Adam”. He was extremely civil and continues to be around both of them when it is about Nick and Sally’s relationship. This whole idea of Nikki‘s encouragement of giving up on Adam is frustrating. Adam leveraging his information to get the company he wanted, should’ve pleased Victor. If Victoria had done this, Victor would’ve named a new product after her.… Read more »
So well stated how Adam was civil, not turning into “bad Adam” over the N&S connection. He might have tried to take down Nick in however that would have played out but he didn’t. Adam has done so much work on himself but only a few have noticed.
Okay, last rant of my failed week to be more positive. So now Connor is officially more comfortable talking to Billy about his feelings than he is talking to Adam? Sure. Adam has always been very close with Connor and an excellent father. It makes sense that Connor may be worried about upsetting his mother since Chelsea has had some serious challenges recently. But no, Connor does not need a new magical stepfather in Billy. Give me a break. Let Billy parent his own invisible children. Conclusion: This Josh Griffith jerk really hates Adam. Sorry, we are not buying it… Read more »
Venting must be a positive or why do it, right? So you are being positive, lol. You do you! Everyone makes his or her own happiness NOT dictated by what others think. (Ya hear that too, Adam?)
Let’s hope they redeem this storyline a little bit next week. Adam can have a heart-to-heart with Connor. Since Chelsea’s going to be off our canvas soon, I think Connor will be going with Chelsea to Anita’s.
So True, about the one man writing show, that is against Adam. Connor has never really had an issue talking with Adam before. But now Billy is to be his savior. Give me a break. He doesn’t even parent his own children.

SALLY. You’re blaming Adam for Victor deciding to abandon an entire new venture at Newman and rescinding his major job offer???! Really?!! Are you too weak to blame the great and powerful Oz? Victor is a garbage person who has no problem playing with and destroying people’s lives. Haven’t you been paying attention??? How dare you blame Adam! Victor went back on his word after he replaced you at Chancellor-Winters and he doesn’t give a damn about what he did to you. He is a Class A jerk, always has been.
